I am also concerned too. I have not received coupon for FGN bond FG142037S2 April 18, 2037 and cscs is saying CBN is still working on the coupon payment of April 18. Please who else is on this boat?
Maybe there is issue with your account or something. I got the coupon for this on the 19th of April.

I have a dollar account. So intend to make payment from there.
Just that alone cannot work. The money must be sent from abroad source. You can not send money from a Nigerian Dollar Account to another Nigerian Dollar account.

Any recommendation on this?
This is from which investment house?

For me, it's fine. The rates are good. The company is a legal entity (https://lei.cscs.ng/cscslei/lei-entity-details.php?lei=0292004091B1T2XB1B52). You can also look through their year end report to see what they make and the feasibility of paying back debts.

The final decision on it is your.

This is not a good offer considering treasury bills is at 14% for 365 days with an upward trend
I was going to say the same thing. With the higher risks involved in CP and high rate of TB presently, I think FSDH did not consider the current economic situation before fixing this rate.

All the same thanks for posting this one.

The payment was suppose to be on Friday. Other questions r positive
Then you will have to exercise a little patience till tomorrow evening. If you don't see it, then contact the bank or investment house through which you invested. They will contact CSCS on your behalf.

Saving bond April 2021 2years saving bond, who has received theirs. I haven't received mine n who do I channel my complain to
What is the expected payment date? Have your been receiving the coupon payment prior to this time? Are you very sure of the account you submitted to them? Have checked the account balance either by mobile app, internet banking, ATM or even in the branch not expecting payment alerts.

If your answers to my questions above are positive and you are sure the expected payment date is past will like 3 days. Then you have to mail the source through which you invested with your complain. Just send a mail to the band or investment house through which you invested and they will then contact the CSCS on your behalf for the payment.

So I think what they do is register the amount they want to raise and then issue the commercial papers in tranches.

If you look at what you posted you will see 2 billion while in mine you will see 1 billion which I think is part of the first one but I don’t know is what determines the timing.
Ok, that is nice. Just wanted to seek more clarification. Thank you

This is another one. Yours is series 2 and 3 while the one posted is series 4 and 5, check the pictures
Oh I see.. but they just had the 2 & 3 in March, why the immediate issue this April for 4 & 5? Is it that they could not enough money as intended in the 2nd and 3rd series or they had urgent need for more money.?

Wow, it's still on. The last notification I got on it from coronation was on the 24th of March stating that the funding date will be 29th March. Maybe they couldn't get enough bid so they decided to continue again.

When is the next treasury bills auction? I'm planning on moving funds from money market next week to bid on TBS primary market..

Also is it advisable to move large funds at once, is there any CBN regulations that prohibits such transaction?

Bidding for 13.5, I hope it sail through. Thanks .
The next auction is on the 25th April 23. So long as it is electronic transactions and the source of the money is traceable and pure, CBN should not have any issues with it. The only place you may have issue is if your your mutual fund managers will release the money in time for you to meet up the bid. Eg. In stanbic the maximum redemption/withrawal am amount you can do online is 2.5 M. You can do more offline from their bank branches but that'll definitely take more time than the online stuff.

The previous 2 auction stop rates were about 14.7. which many banks are claiming they do not succeed especially this last one. So I think your intended rate is ok to play safe. You should still understand that you can only bid by yourself if your funds is upto 50M.. Through Afrivest is 50M sha...

Abeg Who get the result of this week's auction? Stanbic is already telling customers that they didn't succeed and are willing to only give customers 364 from their secondary market @ 11.5%. The list CP I have done for this period is above 15% why then will I just go with their Secondary Market when I can move to Other bank or invest in CP.

They are here again to force an unknown and untested investment down the throat of unsuspecting investors. Same modus operandi as always, send one agent to fly the kite, then one or two with come to support it.

Any attempt to question or investigate their claims then you will begin to see attacks. If you are sure of what you are advertising is genuine then allow people talk.

CrimeRe: Mob Sets Young Man Ablaze For Allegedly Stealing Android Phone In Calabar by freeman67: 3:42pm On Apr 10, 2023
post=122414462:
Update From . COM

The Cross River State Police Command has condemned the jungle justice meted out to a suspected Phone thief in Calabar.

The Suspect identified simply as Eyo, aged 22, was set on fire by an angry mob on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in Esu Street, off Edim Otop Street, Atimbo, Calabar Municipality LGA of the state.

According to an eyewitness, Eyo had allegedly stolen an android phone the previous evening and fled, only to return the next morning and meet his tragic fate.

Residents claim Eyo, who resided around the Second transformer in Inyanghasang, had been involved in petty theft for a long time.

“I have known Eyo since secondary school, he has always been stealing, there was a time he stole half of the class school fees. Even as we grew into our 20s, Eyo became audacious in stealing and more notorious, he was always caught stealing, this is not the first time a mob tried to mob him, it’s unfortunate that he got unlucky today,” a source told Vanguard.

"They started beating him with cutlasses and gave him deep cuts before setting him ablaze. Funny enough, it’s just for stealing an Android phone,” the source added.

The spokesperson of the command, SP Irene Ugbo, who confirmed the incident, stated that it is illegal for anyone to take laws into their hands.

Ugbo added that the right thing to do would have been to report the suspect to the nearest police station and hand him over, rather than killing him in such a gruesome manner.

"The mob action against the suspect was illegal, barbaric and highly unacceptable, he should have been handed over to the police,” she added.

This is bad completely bad considering the fact that an innocent person could be wrongly accused and set ablaze before realising he or she is innocent. Also, the price of phone is so small that a whole human life should just go for it.

That said, in a way I can understand why people do those things sometimes. Just last night I was by the road side (an express) when I noticed a lady walking towards me dejectedly. She had wanted to cross the road but couldn't in that state. So before she got to me a vehicle slow down and try to ask her for direction but she did answer them then they came to me, I directed them and they left. She then asked me to help her cross the express to the other side. It was while crossing with her she told me she was just dropped off a vehicle after being robbed of her phones and wallet containing her ATM cards and other valuables at gun points. Just imagine that kind of situation.

She felt vulnerable, shattered and dejected with her movement plans scattered and valuable taken away. Will she have any pity for such a person if he happened to be caught?

That should be referring to Fixed Term Deposits if I'm not mistaken.

What are the procedure to sell my share and make withdrawal so that man pikin go eat b4 I kpeme.

Mod pls I beg you help me push to front page I need to sell it this night.
Contact Chapel Hill Denham stock broker. I think majority of you that bought the shares through the IPO without a stock broking account were allocated to them.

Since the IPO, they have paid interim dividend of about N8.00 per share or so directly to your bank account given to them if I'm not mistaken. You may not notice it because it will not be much based on the number of shares you have. If you are sure you did not receive it then contact the same broker for way forward.

After that, they have also issued 1 share for every 20 subject to maximum of 250 as advertised in the IPO.

Lastly, they are about to pay another dividend soon that can be converted to shares too if a shareholder wish so.

I don't know if any is facing same issues here. I jave been trying to access my Stanbic IBTC mutual fund account through their mobile app and internet access since Thursday to no avail. It will just act as if the internet is bad and wont display anything. I have been using same network for every other thing on my phone without issues. In fact I even use it to open my Stanbic IBTC Bank section of the app.

What seem to be the issue please?
