Politics › Re: Solar Power Plant In BUK Inaugurated (Photos) by frowland(m): 2:38pm On Sep 03, 2019 |
mrvitalis: The lies here are too much First University of nigeria ,nsukka (UNN) has the largest admission capacity and thats just less than 6000 students per year, so thats less than 30,000 students ...so there is absolutely no how BUK can have 20,000 students
7.1MW is just 7100 KVA (approx) and that's for say 23500 people thats like 0.3kva per person which is absolutely no enough
When u tell lies like this ,i know only 2.5% of nigerians are educated but please lie with sense Jeez! 23,500 people won't use power at the same freeking time. I just can't imagine how you guys think. 23,500 people are not living in BUK in 23,500 different houses. Neither are there 23,500 sockets that all duke and harry will plug in their appliances concurrently for you to arrive at such conclusions. Na wa! |

Many members here call one another monkeys on so many occasions and even made picture reference with Tinubu, Osho, OBJ etc etc. Maybe by being a bit ugly to being stupid, we actually throw the monkey tantrums. So I don't see how we should be concerned at this news. I just think they are re-echoing the obvious. |

Simplyleo: The earlier we come to terms with reality, the better for us as a nation. Whatever the prices at which foodstuffs are sold in the market today, following the present govt regulations on their importation, is the real situation of the market forces.
However, I still feel the govt regulation should be confined to forex rather than closing borders in addition. Source for your foreign currency outside the cbn, import whatever you want to import, pay the appropriate duties (done everywhere in the world), then bring the goods into the market for competition.
The other time, some illiterates were on buhari's neck for directing the cbn to stop giving food importers a cent, cos according to them, he has no business in the matters of the apex bank, wtf. Let's even not talk about how the cbn is subject to the regulations of the executive. Are these not the same stark illiterates blaming Buhari for increase in naira/dollars exchange rate? Is this done in aso rock? We spend upwards of $40b on food importation annually and some people think this is OK. |

eyeview: The fact is that there are 66 govt vehicles parked inside Rochas compound as we speak. Replacing them will cost the new govt billions and it won't be economical to do that since the state has a lot of debt incurred by Rochas govt. So recovery becomes the best option for now. Almost all the new govt appointees are moving on their personal cars. Even the new governor comes from his personal bungalow residence because the governor's lodge was stripped bare. 66 Vehicles will cost over a billion?? |
