majamajic: did I mention any government in my comment ?
even if it was former government , so the new one can't sit them up and tell them why government sold NEPA to them , I think the problem was the manner it was unbundled and sold. It was shady and doomed to fail even before they started. I prefer the federal government to pull out and allow individual states negotiate how to generate and transmit their electricity. |

People have been lamenting on Imo thread, trying to understand why Rochas would channel funds wrongly.
I would always say that Rochas lacks administrative skill.
He just builds for building's sake, thus relegating due process and purpose of project to the background.
While Rochas lacks administrative skill, the two kids who commented just before and after me lack common sense. [/s] You wey get common sense and administrative skill come dey Nairaland? Humans sef, una matter tire me. |

Idle and lazy youths...if they had voted this way during the presidential election Atiku wouldn't be struggling to Cum and reclaim his stolen mandate. People voted at their comfort zones. No one went to queue under the rain or sun to cast any vote. Some even were having sseex while voting or some in the bathroom voting. So don't make that comparison. Doesn't add up. |

PrecisionFx: Are u an Afonja?
Wait for this case to unravel. I am just saying my own, I don't care which tribe you are, he is or I am. Comparing FBI to Forbs is just plain wrong. I am not also saying he cannot defend himself, afterall he can claim ignorance of the allegations. But do not compare forbes and FBI. Forbes dont care how you made your money. It's none of their business. Theirs operandi is "what you are doing with your money and its impact to the society bla bla" |

onetouchconcept: Hmmn.
There is no smoke without fire, let the FBI do their job. If he is indeed fraudulent, I'm sure the FBI will find out and Forbes will issue a statement in that regard because why? THEY HAVE A WORKING SYSTEM UNLIKE HERE IN NIGERIA.
he is not even charged yet and Nigerians are already embarking on social media trial. I'm sure Forbes performed background checks on him before publishing his name. So chill Ogbeni, not that this issue is my busienss but FBI and Forbes no be mate at all! Between two of them, I guess FBI does MORE background checks than that cash and carry forbes. Unlike efcc and Sars random guess work arrests. This guys does extensive profiling before hitting their target. |

NFIU sef. I remember when a huge inflow went into my account and I have not used that account for like two months. It was instantly flagged by NFIU. I think, if your account have not received more than 1million in three months, then any inflow above 1m will be flagged. I went to the bank, presented proof of transactions and dealings, filled out couple of Nfiu forms and all was well and account was unfreeze'd. Mehn, Nigerians should be worried now because NFIU is no longer under efcc but this time is deadlier as there is an external control and influence as I heard. |

katlord: Who's referring to consumption of commodities? We're talking of economic viability of regions. While the South is known for oil and gas exploration, the west is known for industrial production including Lagos for it's commercial input, most of the SE is known for their commercial inputs. All these put together generates billions to the fg. The north merely contributes in agric with large mineral resources untapped.
If you follow up discussions during the confab especially economy you'll agree more. The entire North is parasitic economically compared to other regions Oga, what you wrote now means you know little to nothing about our nations economy and revenue. Let me give you a very very small hint, the biggest importers and exporters are northerners. The biggest, its not made up but the fact. Why am I dabbling into this joke of an argument. Its skidish. |

katlord: Yes! Less than 1%
Browse the report of economic contribution of geo political zones in the last confab Oga, I don't need to browse anything. It's simply impossible. You mean they don't consume petrol/Diesel and pay VAT? No company in the north that pays tax? Agriculture? Construction? Manufacturing? Transport? Services? Utilities? Haba!! Bring the statistics you got from confab lets see. Not those useless WhatsApp forwarded jokes. |
