la furia: 2 weeks not bad, i just hope the holiday doesnt affect doctors and nurses. 2weeks holiday wont hurt the state. on paper it sounds unacceptable but reality is the state wont be affected. how much revenue will imo state lose in the 2weeks that pdp is shouting? schs are on break, water supply will continue, electricity will still be provided and people will have to pay their bills after the holidays. nothing spoil.

Ikengawo: I get the feeling that Nigerian sentiment is the way it is because the opposition controls the media, and being more progressive minded than the PDP, controls new forms of media pretaining to the internet (I personally know PDP's party line up in my state and non of these men are tech savvy enough to operate a smart phone talkless of understand the internet).

PDP's 'old school' line up has been completely taken by storm.

The reason I want to point this out is because I'm coming to see the Nigeria's media is now dominated by the opposition and this is why it's so incredibly negative. The media is one sided and is on a mission to defame the presidency, as is their role in democratic partisan politics. This is why the governors you see and hear about in the media

are all opposition men. they are called the progressives and their every move is highlighted to make the other PDP governors not look like their working. The impression is that these are the mend that are constantly and actively building their states up. Therefore people such as

and various performing PDP administrators are completely left out of the news. It's even more interested that out of the ones i've listed, the ACN governors, by far, get the most positive media attention. No opposition governor has done for their state what Akpabio and Amaechi have done for their own.
I'm not a PDP guy but it's a pattern i've noticed and i want people to steer clear of partisan deception when reading nigerian media and think with an independant mind. I too believe the PDP has failed this country,but i'm not going to pretend that there's nobody in PDP doing their job because that's not the truth as the media is trying to portray.

Firstly, one of the things that drives corruption in Nigeria is a lack of information technology and management systems. These tools provide computerised controls that make it difficult to breach even when breached there is a trail that could easily tell you what has gone wrong without much stress unlike human implemented controls.

Now how do you implement an Information management system when some of the workers in our MDAs do not even know how to use a computer and they are meant to deliver service in the 21st century! Try implement one and you will be called names for attempting to block "money for the boys". I can bet my life that Nigeria's Ministry of Works and Transport does not have a management system for implementing projects. In the 21st century, what nonsense!

I am from the Niger Delta, now what do you need Ministry of Niger Delta and NDDC for? If there is an efficient Works Ministry, most of the projects carried out by those organisations will be done by the Works Ministry. What do you need a Police Affairs Ministry for? What is the use of Civil Defense Corps? And all these useless organisations take funds that should be put to development.

But they sold the killers a drug which was termed as an obnoxious substance (Rohpynol Flunitrazepam tablets) which by virtue should never have found its way to their shelfs. He was rejected by his dominantly Muslim family, he was mocked at, his parents felt they had lost a son, but he held on to what he believed in. Today, after all his suffering, he has in turn become blessed by God and people are talkin; where were u wen he was goin thru all these for God? Life teaches us that there is no limit to the wat a man can attain in life if he remains dedicated, committed and upright; Oyedepo chose these and he is not only blessed today but has become a blessing to thousands employed in several businesses he has. He doesn't ve to earn from church offering or tithe, he also has interest in businesses and has access to the best brains to work for him. Let me even ask, a church that has more than a million memeber world wide, shud owing private jet be too much? Have u read about Kenneth Copeland, his church has as at 3 years back given away about 25 jets as gifts to other ministries world wide. Is jet too big for God's work? Would we rather have a man who would teach decency, love, morals, fear of God, etc to fly on private jet just to meet preaching schedules world wide than give same private jet a Hollywood porn star/ artiste who only needs it to fly all over the world to promote nudity and immorality? The place we call Cannan land at Ota before Oyedepo came was a thick forest, the church has turned it to the best city in Nigeria, nobody is commending him and the church. Pastor Adeboye lived at Redeemed camp ground alone when it was a jungle with only him and his wife, surrounded by bush, no electricity, pipe borne water etc their kids refused living with them there, today it has become a city like none in Nigeria in terms of organisation and facilities, a fit no Govt with billions of oil money in Nigeria has accomplished , yet for them to fly on small 10 passenger private jet is causing uproar in Nigeria. God is watching us all. I believe that a man who has paid so much that many other re unwilling to pay should enjoy what others are not entitled to, all pastors can't be on same level.

Oibe, who doubles as the Public Relations Officer of Northern CAN, said he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.

He said: “If there is any clergyman in the country whose constituency is government, it is Bishop Kukah, who served every government in power in the last decade.

“He thinks people have forgotten in a hurry how he served in Obasanjo’s government and turned round to attack the former president, or his fraternity with the former Governor James Ibori and his Rivers State counterpart, Peter Odili.”
