striktlymi: I understand some of the complaints people put forth...They are all missing the point. Why building a 3km Auditorium running into billions of Naira for a convention that comes once in a year? Accountants will call it misapplication of resources and capital tie down. Why the convention in the first instance when it inflicts pain to motorist on the only highway that connects the rest of the country to the commercial capital? RCC has more branches that any other church. Let them pray in their churches and parishes I admire Baba Adeboye for his simplicity but Nigeria and Nigerians could do more beneficial things with this billions than building this superfluous auditorium. I am sure there are jobless people in that church, there are widows in that church, there are brilliant indigent students in that church, and there are brilliant first class graduates who could do with overseas training, there are businessmen whose business need capital injection etc. It is a pity, we do things here with profound impunity. I doubt if any church can say this in Europe or USA without the Taxmen swooping on them. Let Government start taxing the donors and the receivers. |
deeptesting: The question is did they build the church on the road? Lagos-Ibadan road ought to be dualized to at lease accommodate 10 vehicles on each lane and ensure that all vehicles veering to these churches or whatever maintain a single lane...Where else should they locate this churches? I wish Joe Igbokwe proffered a solution in his write up. It's simply the failure of the government to live upto its responsibility and they should be held responsible for the sufferings and death of Nigerians on that road.So they should be inflicting pains on millions until the road is expanded. With all the churches, our economy was still written off AFDB. Igbokwe has proffered solution. Let them stop the nonsense and allow the branches to do the worshiping and praise singing. God does not inflict pains on people. |
This site is old but it appears it is nonoperational. http://pickthesexofyourbaby.com/ I didn't know until Ezine Articles.com rejected an article for non substantial content. And this site has more than 30 articles and Ezine Article itself had approved and linked more than 20 articles there. Pls I am not doing his to get links. I need help. Even if you click an hyperlink there it does not record on the statistics. Please can anybody diagnose and give prescriptions |
Nonsense. Where are the stats from? Yes, they have commerce in their blood but wealth does not end there. My problem with Igbos is that they are so discriminating and unaccommodating. How many Yorubas in Onisha Market and how many in Ariara Market in Aba? Now How many Igbos in Ladipo Market In Lagos ? And how many in Iwo Rd Ibadan?. The igbos will not allow you to own properties in their place and yet they go to other places and blosoom. Even in your backyard they want to lord it over You and dominate everywhere. See what is happening in Nigeria Army with the first Igbo Army chief since the Civil war. Make an Igbo the president, you will be able to count other tribe in Aso Rock on your finger tips. This is one issue Nigeria will address sooner or later. I do not know of any other tribe but should the Igbos decide to move back to Enugu, the Yorubas wont miss them for a second. |
Donmams: SMH for you. You are celebrating public assault by ignorant soldiers who do not know their left from right. In civilised countries a soldier dares not speak rudely to a civilian else risk court martial. However i won't be surprised to see more fools celebrating this nonsense. What is your problem? Which civilized country allow you to jump the queue? Worse still, which civilized country will allow you do this under emergency rile. Some people suffer self inflicted ignorance just to be heard. |
Bye the great satirist. You were the only reason I bought Sunday Times those good old days. You were so acidic on your targets yet you made it so sweet to read. Your writings impacted positively on my English. Sleep well the wordsmith. |
mikeansy: no wonder he has been licking the President's backside!Very disrespectful and stupid. Gov. does not deserve this from anybody. When are you people going to grow up. |
End of BokoHaram is near |
MITNEXUS: If you are in the process of raising capital for your business from investors, then you unquestionably need a business plan. A business plan is a critical part of starting any business and serves a number of critical functions. Writing a solid business plan can be a real challenge, however, which is likely how you found yourself hereNice job. But you left out one important point. Threats to the business and how you plan to overcome them. This element is very important when you are writing a bankable proposal as there is no business and industry without its problems. You must identify these problems in your proposal and give ideas as to how to solve them. Having said that some proposals may need more areas to be covered |
thelastPope: This Eko Ile has no shame honestly. Eko Ile, this is a PDP governor oh! I thought you have been going around saying PDP is a useless party. You have just shot yourself in the foot with this thread. Your calculation is that you will use this in your so called GEJ vs Amaechi war, but it has backfired. Instead, you have just shown that PDP states are performing better than ACN states and that Fashola is an overhyped governor. LolBalderdash. On the contrary, it shows he is an objective man. PDP governors cannot be ash-heads all. |
The strong man of Lagos politics I disagree. It should read "The strong man of Nigeria politics" |
This guy should move to APC. He does not belong to the clueless man at Abuja. |
Omexonomy: All those schools you mention are even better come to tolu complex in ajegunle you will shed tears for student and their teachers. Their is serious Shortage of chairs and table for student, teachers and vice principal.Nonsense. I was in UI the other day. In a Botany Class there were more students outside than inside the hall. They did not even have trees to stay under. Now that is the premier institution here. Educational sector is in crisis. |
malele: The Federal Government, on Thursday, said smoking would soon be banned in the country as soon as the Anti-Tobacco Bill before the National Assembly was passed into law.Jobless people. Go create environment conducive for investment and job creation. If i decide to smoke, it is my business. Some Nigerians, out of lack, take in things more dangerous than smoking. Even in USA it has not been banned. |
yelsew80: NADECO huh? How time flies, I remember those days when being a NADECO member commanded the status of a selfless Patriot. Who'd forget the heroics of the likes of Abraham Adesanya who stayed back in the country to take on the oppressors man to man, Alfred Rewane the brave Itsekiri millionaire who lost his life battling the despot, Alex Ibru who took hot bullets for his nation and many more distinguished and Brave Patriots. You can contrast that with the now seeming greatest beneficiary of that struggle esp with the likes of Adesanya, Funsho Williams and now Dosunmu all dead - a certain Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was among the first to piantin out of the country when the heat was turned on to become an "exiled activist" - very brave esp when you consider how he now loves this country! You are half correct. The Tinubus, the then very young Fayemi and others were the foot soldiers of the Adesanyas. They were the guerrillas on the field. Tinubu did not become Lagos state Governor for nothing. So also , others had to step down for Fayemi for the same reason. Fayemi was the guy pushing Radio Kudirat about. A lot of things happened not known to many of you people. Tinubu has earned his respect. The NADECO people know. |
What is to celebrate here? Bleaching and ugliness? |
Ekans: I see the hands of the failed banks sacked CEOs in this.Which government official in nigeria does not chase after things in skirts?.Its a norm in this clime although that doesnt make it right.I agree with you but those who live in glass house don't throw stones. But it appears Sanusi did not hear of that adage. |
why not take the fast lane to the governor's house and polish his joystick? Born to lick!! Jesus Christ while on earth paid tax and also encouraged us to pay taxes. He felt too big to presnt manifest because other people presnting theirs are fools abi?. You are here running onu asaghi asa. Shortman with short brain[/quote Your retardee blocked the third mainland bridge for a whole day. Now how did he feel? Smallmanism? |
oshyno: were u supposed to pay aerodrome fee ? If yes why didnt u pay b4 being airborne. Last i checked ur an advocate of rule of law. One man one vote. We shud stop blaming GEJ n PDP wen a govt parastatal tries to put us in d right path. Now the helicopter is not his. If dues were due to be paid, it was the owner of the aircraft to pay. The owner has come out to say they do not owe anybody. In his words "I have been phoning frantically to find out why this happened. Now, a debtor do not do that. Agreed, the aircraft owed dues courtesy demands it be allowed to ferry the Governor after all the company will not disappear overnight. I am sure you know all these facts but pretend not to know. I am sorry for the Nigeria people who think like you will lead. |
Any alternative is better than this PDP. A people cannot be unluckier. |
Ogogoro and Burukutu Talk. |
No big deal. There is a similar one on the mountain in my church. Weirdly, I too believe they are foot prints of an angel and I normally stand on those prints during vigils. I will take a shot for you guys to see one of these days. My churc? CAC Oke Olorungunwa, Adekola Village, Adegbayi Ibadan. |
rigormortis: THAT GUY LOOKS LIKE THAT WOMAN AND ILYASU OUR GATEMAN.........................HES GOT NOTHING ON CLINTYou cannt be serious. That guy cuts his father into two. |
I had thought medics are intelligent. |
Sincere 9gerian: “As a Party, we really sympathize with Abati.."- FashakinThey should have asked my mother to go and present the paper then if the presenter does not matter. I marvel at the way some guys think here. Not to know that who delivers a message matters at such level of diplomacy I remember the speech delivered by Murtala at OAU meeting in 1975 or thereabout was supposed to be delivered by Obasanjo the no 2 man then. But because the speech was so good, Murtala Mohammed decided to deliver it himself to add more impetus. And what a glorious day for Nigeria. Some people will need to go back to the university if they were once there. |
They claimed 19. Where are the other 5? |
Redoil: Why are they doing it for only themsevles why not for at least 1/1000 of people in lagos. Well i can see that he just the govenor of alahusa and not of lagos state.Myopic. When he did the same for Lagos Island district about 2 years ago. Where were you. Some of you for the sake of posting |
Balderdash. Even those governors in states where no candidate scored 200 and above in JAMB are performing. And those in Bokoharam territory are part of the best governors. Nauseating indeed |
ZACHIE: Rubbish awardSpurious is the word. This Akpabio can not be best is anything besides squander mania. |
Mtchew... It's time people start practising their religion in school. Cele people should go to school bare footed. Traditionalists should go to school with onde, ifunpa, igbadi, opon ifa, afose, etc. I hope the teacher won't run away if i come to school with a gun. My ancestors were ogun worshipers
Nothing more to add.Egungun worshipers will come as masquerades. one day I will come like Ibadan Alapansanpa and flog the hell out of strict teachers. Nonsense. |
