Keneking:Are you mistaken? Are we talking about the article on the FP or what are you on about? |
drss:When you're called wailing zombies, you complain as if that is not exactly what you lots are. Who said Emirates have stopped flights to or from Nigeria? A disoriented writer who named an article with such a false malicious headline and states the headline in ONE sentence without backing, and then launches a tirade lamenting the death of Nigerian Airways? Was it not the PDP that ruled for the past 16 years of Nigerian Airways's ruin? Who is surprised that we still don't have a national carrier after 16 years of PDP misrule? What did Jonathan do about Nigerian Airways despite presiding over a fantastic oil price boom? Why are you screaming Buhari? Last time he ruled NA was a thriving airline with dozens of aircrafts. You zombies are so d*ft that you cannot verify the simplest of facts and swallow every trash you're fed. |
Contrary to the claims a a clearly disoriented and amateur writer in a malicious article which was mistakenly taken to the the front page: EMIRATES has not stopped flights to or from Nigeria. Below is a screenshot of a return flight I just booked from London to Abuja on Emirates for July 15th to return August 31st. Emirates still flies to and from Nigeria. http://www.emirates.com/uk/english/ Nairaland is the source of news and information for thousands of Nigerians and diasporans alike, and it would be quite unfortunate if the brand is seen to be promoting mischief, falsehood and misinformation; and peddling information which could be harmful to the business of Emirates Airlines. This should be on the Front Page as well to remedy the earlier misinformation. Emirates still operates flights to and from Nigeria beyond June 30th. Cc: Seun, Mynd44, Lalasticlala

The judgement given was on a matter concerning certain amendments in the PDP constitution, which had nothing to do with the election of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the national chairman. The Makarfi media had better take note or go back to journalism school. Rascality of the pen will no longer be tolerated. #Sherriff/Fayose2019 #IStandWithSherriff |
No! We will not take this. This is judicial rascality, Buhari is behind this. The APC want to destroy the opposition ! |
Tickets on lock. Its a date. Gotta welcome Oluwa Burna back...only wish Patoranking would be there as well. |

FxDuke:Bros yes there is hardship, but the difference is that there is greater hope. This is objectivity and not politics. The people trust their President, and understand that the misgovernance of the past is the root source of the current hardship. This is what wailers are incapable of understanding and admitting, which is why they are what they are, and thankfully they are in the minority. |
This chained thief is still running his mouth with his usual failed brand of ethno-religious politics. FFK should prove his innocence in court and stop insulting our intelligence. I hope he has truly found Christ though, before he incurs divine wrath for trying to drag Christianity into his stinking mess. |
This is the majority opinion in Nigeria. What you wailers do not realize is that you are a minority in this matter. Of course some of you do not agree and that's why the President was not scored 100%. Let the minority have their say; while the majority have their way. Abeymills: |
Wailers can cry from here to the lagoon, the fact remains that PMB has once again demonstrated his INCORRUPTIBILITY and lack of bias in the war against corruption. Only in sick twisted minds are there 'small looters' and 'big looters'. This was Buhari's kinsman, loyalist and member of his anti-corruption squad that like Fayose, FFK and Diezani, was discovered to have skeletons in his cupboard and the President promptly ordered his arrest and investigation, and subsequent prosecution. But then, these children of the ineffectual buffoon are so soaked in the culture of corruption and impunity that they would kick and scream whenever victory over those twin cancers are secured. The FG has cleared the air on Buratai and wailers can tie a rock to their necks and jump in the lagoon if they're not satisfied. |
Another brilliant mind makes Nigeria proud. Kudos on being a worthy ambassador; and avoiding the drug trafficking trap that has netted many Nigerians in Malaysia. The world is now your oyster. |
This is undeniable proof of the incorruptibility of President Buhari, regardless of ethnic or political colouration. This is a trusted ally and kinsman of the President that is about to join the likes of FFK, Dasuki et al. in gaol. The war on corruption, like the goddess of justice, is blind. May God continue to bless and protect the President from his friends, enemies and detractors. Nigeria must be great again. |
MrPresident1:Can you add substance to this ridiculous claim? From business to politics to religion to cultural compatibility, both have more than less in common. Don't even think of bringing up the Illorin angle. |
In the beginning, PMB broke his fast with some northern leaders; the cry was that PMB was promoting 'northernocracy' in the villa. Then yesterday, PMB broke his fast with Tony Elumelu, Alakija, Jim Ovia et al., the wail was that the President was trying to impose his religious practice on Christians who should have no business with Iftaar. Today it's with Imams; just waiting to see if the wailers and iPods can shatter their previous record in hypocrisy. |
I never knew this man could be such a clown. What response does he really expect? That they tell PMB to overlook the forgery case because 'he is awa fellow parliamentarian?' This man should stop giving everyone reasons to believe he is already guilty as charged before judgement is given. If he is innocent, the best place to prove it is in the courts. QED. |

That contraption looks unsecured and appears to be a disaster in waiting. Where are the restraints? How will the upper deck be accessed safely? How will the weight distribution be balanced as it is a three-wheeler? Shock absorption? The Kenyan fabricator must have really been bored. |

Your desperation to cover up the terrorist activities of the militants is both pathetic and laughable. So it was FulaniMafia that attacked the Ogun Deputy Governor? What do you call your attempts to pin the attacks on herdsmen? What do you call the sickening celebrations of your kinsmen all over Nairaland over the attacks? The SW is brighter than that. I usually don't respond to your type but I'm making an exception because some might fall for your propaganda. Leopard2A7: |
Lol I'm done with you. Just wake up .sanandreas: |
crixtex:Leave the rock you're living under and you will discover that from roads to bridges to dams and institutions; the North is most infrastructurally developed region in the country. But I have no time for d1ck-measuring contests. Wake up from your ogogoro induced laziness. It is an 'Abokee' that is building the single largest refinery and petrochemical/gas plant that will save Nigeria from her perennial fuel scarcity and shame of being the 6th largest oil producer that still imports fuel. i repeat, WAKE UP. |
crixtex:All N'Deltans cannot be dynamite flinging, gin gulping, ignorant terrorist creekheads. You think I'm silly enough to make such a generalization? I haven't heard you caution your lazy irritant kinsmen calling entire regions in the north names. The same people working hard to develop the resources you're too lazy and drunk to develop for yourselves. Report your Governor Dickson to the Mods as well. Nonsense.
|
DeadWrong:Its really puzzling. |
sanandreas:And what economic benefit are YOU and your fellow lazy ogogoro gulping, 'deve'-collecting creekheads to Nigeria ? Do you know how useless you need to be to always hide behind the oil God blessed Nigeria with (which you put ZERO effort in producing or developing)? Bow your unproductive and criminal heads in shame. Your ilk are useless to Nigeria, even your Governor Dickson testified to this fact. Lazy criminals. |
'Hurting the North' indeed. The author was quick to pull out statistics, if we are to go by statistics alone, then numerically the northerners dominating political positions is justified considering the fact that just as there is parity in western educational penetration between the North and South, the South also cannot come near the North statistically when it comes to numbers so keep proportion at bay if you don't want to shoot yourself in the foot. The fact remain that despite its relative educational handicap, there are millions of well-educated northerners just as there are millions of illiterates. I have not heard anyone challenge the educatonal qualifications or competence of the Northerners heading the various arms of government. Truth be told, the appointments are skewed in the North's favour; but another truism is that it is one of the spoils of political dominance. We saw the exact same thing under GEJ when the South overwhelmingly occupied the juiciest posts. We can not also discount the behavior of the SE during the election campaigns where it systematically and myopically excluded itself from the ruling party. The few that were involved are now well represented in this government (Ngige, Onu et al.) The South West is also well represented and its clear for all to see. P.S: The 'North' is made up of 3 regions, North Central, North West and North East so quit the deception in presenting it as 1 region. ********************************************************************************************************************** prophetone: |
sanandreas:Yes, it hasn't blinked for 5 years. Ironically, you are not bright enough to realize that you also suffer in darkness as a result of the sabotage; the leaked octane in your polluted waters is really reversing your brain activity. The ND is important yes, but the ND criminals WILL be crushed, make no mistake. Imagine the terrorists had the temerity to attack the Ogun State Deputy Gov. As we speak, the boots that dealt with Boko Haram in the North East are making their way to the ND. Wait for it. The nonsense is enough. |
