Please be clearer here.

Nigeria is not a socialist country, but a capitalist one. In Nigeria we have free markets that feature healthy competition so I don't understand what you're talking about.

In Iboland, it is people that are in charge of what? You have never been known to have government as a people due to the nature of the common ibo man that feels he cannot be ruled or governed by anyone, so quit the pretentious posturing.

The North on the other hand, has always had a system of governance with our Sarkis, long before the arrival of the colonialists which made them adopt indirect rule and ultimately led to the North having an upper hand in Nigerian politics. Thats the reason for the much touted question of why the British seem to favour the Hausa/Fulani.

The truth is that you suddenly feel locked out of the centre, and have realized you will continue to play second fiddle to the other 2 major tribes if power remains at the center due to your inability to unilaterally elect a President of your choice, or forge alliances with those you hate.

fr3do:
Individuals need to start running things themselves, this over centralised government is killing everybody.

Give Local governments more power and make regions autonomous or split the country.

Capitalism will be helpful here.

@fulanimafia unlike in the north where the state governments call the shots, in Igboland, it is the people who are in charge.

My problem with these wailers is that they never recommend a solution, a workable alternative when they're screaming wolf.

Its quite revealing that Kano generates more than double of what the noisemakers make.

The PDP propaganda machine is being revived according to Ihedioha's instructions,

Concerning what the PDP will need to do to regain its place in the national polity, he said, “We must do what we must do, using propaganda and blackmail. When you don’t blackmail when you are in the opposition, you are wasting your time. Marry the media as quickly as possible and do the needful when it needs to be done.

This may be good news to some.

The aviation industry has been dreading the entry of ex-militants into the industry as airline pilots.

Secondly, i have met many of the beneficiaries of this program and I can categorically tell you that many of them are not militants. Most of the actual militants were unable to complete the training program due to unruliness and just not been suited for the program. Those that scaled through were the non-militants who were smuggled into the program. The whole amnesty programme is flawed. They should have concentrated on skills that suit the personality of ex-militants.
Interesting perspective.
Politics › Re: Lufthansa Kicks Out Nigerian Amnesty Students by fulanimafia: 7:07am On Jul 21, 2015
I agree that they should have been allowed to complete their courses, not because of the risk of any uprising by troublemakers, but because it is logical and fair that they should be allowed to complete their programs, even if it necessitated Nigeria preparing a credit arrangement where payments will be made once funds are available, on the understanding that there would be no more pipeline vandalism and economic sabotage by the brothers in the creeks.

^^^You're a fool! Just what makes that ex-dictator and murderer endearing to anyone but born-to-rule jihardists like you!?

The reason you core-northern muslims (and your southern allies) dislike GEJ is because he's a christian from the area formally known as the Eastern region, and because he gave Ndigbo equal standing with others who feel it's their god-given right to lord it over everyone else!

And you can add that to you fura-donunu, add some teaspoons of sugar, and drink it slowly....hopefully you'll digest it well and then be better informed!
Of course I dont expect the bastard offspring of granny-raping_ swine to understand the concept of affectionable endearment considering the hatred around which you unrepentant drug traffickers were raised.

Any half-intelligent mind would acknowledge that GEJ was a daft, unintelligent, intellectually lazy and helplessly clueless individual who was thrown up by by fate in the lottery of life to fill a position he completely lacked the capacity to handle.

But due to your severe clannishness as a result of your failure to evolve beyond the village level (the underlying reason for your december visits), you assumed the Jonathan presidency and ignored the damage his misrule was doing to Nigeria, and in the traditional retrogressive and selfish manner of your kind, you desired to extend the looting and destruction for another 4 years.

You should focus on excising your self-consuming hatred for the North/Hausa Fulani so that it does not completely destroy you because for the considerable foreseeable future, you will be ruled by us and will eventually be left to go on our terms. This is your bitter reality.

Now sod off you irrelevant pig!

Buhari The Record Breaker:
Already Buhari has made a record as the first elected President of Nigeria to stay in office for 53 days without having Secretary to the Government of the Federation. ExPresidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr Jonathan named Ufot Ekaete and Ayim Pius Ayim as SGF same day of their inauguration in 1999 and 2011 respectively. Late Yar'adua named Babagana Kingibe as SGF 24hrs after his inauguration in 2007. Buhari however is yet to. This shows that Buhari is not serious with the business of governance.

Buhari will break another record should he fail to nominate Ministers by the end of this month. He will break the record of Musa Yar'adua as the longest streak without naming a cabinet. Yar'adua named his cabinet on the 28th of July 2007. Buhari's delay till September will mean beating Yar'adua's record by more than a month (depending on the date he nominates his cabinet). Buhari will also become the only elected African and Global leader to stay in office for FOUR months without a cabinet.

These records are not the kind of record that any serious country wish for. I don't think Nigeria's case is different. Finally, Muhammadu Buhari should stop trying to act smart by playing on Nigeria's intelligence. His failure to name a cabinet shows that he isn't prepared for leadership.
Its not about breaking records in the speed of appointment, but setting records in dislodging impunity and the culture of corruption, restoring professionalism in service, and promoting the ethics of good governance which include transparency and accountabilty.

What are the achievements of those who raced to appoint a cabinet? There is no point in building structures on shaky foundations.

President Buhari is not looking for your early applause.

@Bolded,i don't think you had a deep introspection, before putting up that.Did Ironsi die today?.since after his death, successive administration has come and gone, why didn't they correct it?.
Common sense would have told you that what he did then, was to use unitary system of government to save Nigeria from disintegration.
Now we must return to regionalism,or face the music.
As for your other rants you posted,it shows how parasitic you are.
1. After Ironsi's death, military rule continued and it would be silly for them to change the unitary system which availed them with easy money and gave them a robust administrative structure, democracy was not their forte either. The military government was then followed by the PDP Governments, among which was led by a Niger-Deltan, why did Jonathan not change the system? Why were you not crying? You were enjoying the crumbs from Abuja.

2. So an Igbo man Ironsi did not want Nigeria to disintegrate then because he was in power, Jonathan gave no-go-areas in the National Conference which would have addressed your grievances, because he was in power, now a Daura-born President is in power and suddenly remember Nigeria is not well-structured?

You all are just sore losers, which is why your confused agitation came up the moment Jonathan was defeated. What happened to LNC? grin grin
