MizMyColi: I, unlike your ilk, do not throw the baby out with the bath water. You lot never saw anything good in him.
Which heat if my ask? Until the recently arrested Sambo Dasuki? Who is a GEJite/PDP admin? Same for Sule Lamido? (Let me go partisanal) Sorry, no heat. No court ruling was made on Lamido. I've been engaging in hocus pocus all along.
So now you're losing the regional argument so you want to go partisan? Lol. Is Nyako from Umuleri? Is Lamido from Effurun? Is Dasuki from Uromi? Mizmycoli what part of the concept of adjourned cases do you not understand? The case was adjourned till September 28th and the offences Lamido was indicted for were bailable, that's why he was eventually granted bail. How does that discredit the fight against corruption? I emphasize that northerners have received the most heat in the fight against corruption under this administration. |

MizMyColi: And you think the GEJ admin couldn't have brokered a deal to see to some leniency appropriated to him @Ibori? Are you finally agreeing your hero is sympathetic to corruption? I knew you'd come around Kudos for your earlier post, but the FACT remains that under the current administration, Northerners have felt the most intense heat in this war against corruption than southerners so abeg free that wolf you've been crying about. |

Personally, I like that Uduaghan is on blast too. I will like to see what charges are brought against him and how the judgement pans out.
@Fulanimafia....Ibori was jailed in Jona's admin, not so? Though a bit hazy, I believe Ibori was jailed by the UK legal system. |

MizMyColi: I might tilt towards your angle.
Barcanista, whynotthetruth, could you please help confirm that prior to this time, no highly placed corrupt public office holder has even so much as gotten a remanding in prison? Good Morning
I won't be surprised anyway...North thieves, South thieves...who will imprison who? I cannot even vouch that Jona didn't touch any stray kobo. All I know is that he meant well for this country and did the best he could, given the circumstances and near zero support. .
Oga Fulani, if these people who claim "No Corruption" meant business, they will uphold the court ruling. They would stop any attempt to bail him. More importantly!!! They will not show us a group of jubilant crowd, scaling airport fences to welcome him home.
I take it as a slap in the face. We were busy lamenting that Sule Lamido got "just a remanding" when a young man was sentenced to death for stealing...what was it again? Chicken abi tin tomatoes (pun intended)... Then we were dealt a bigger blow when it was learned he's been granted bail.
I take it as a form of... "ntoiii to your southerners, we own this country, we will do with our own as we please, All hail the Lamido!!!"
This is why I said Buhari cannot fight this hydra headed monster when the said monster sits as an effigy in the centre of his living room. While it is intensely gratifying to substitute realty with our perceptions, it will never fail to mislead. Now you and your ilk are suggesting corruption in the south should be encouraged, particularly militancy. Are you also trying to show that 'it is our oyel and we will do with our own as we please?' What then separates you from the ignorance you were castigating? |

MizMyColi: What is this Fulanimafia saying now
Is it not the same person that has been granted bail?
What was the point of publicizing it?
What a failed and wasted attempt at painting Mr President in good light as Mr Zero Corruption.
In Nigeria, it's either you corrupt corruption or corruption corrupts you! There's no sitting on the fence. It was a novel occurrence in Nigeria's political affairs to have such powerful individuals humbled and thrown into bedless detention rooms; e never happen before, so the publicity was clearly earned and not ascribed madam mycoli. The fact is they were granted bail and not let off the hook. I will come back here and remind you when they are finally sentenced. Compare that to southern leaders whose battle with the EFCC has ended with invitations and interrogations at worst. If we are talking about painting a person or region as corrupt, is it not the most publicized that gets most soaked with the paint? Let's be fair to truth and reason here. |

I understand you need to calm frayed and provoked nerves, but cutting your nose to spite your face by allowing corruption to be intricately woven into the fabric of your society, just because you are fighting against a perceived enemy you think wants to discredit the same society is simply counter productive and self destructive at best. What is the basis of all the accusations thrown around here? Since the inception of this administration, the most visible and widely publicized effort in the fight against corruption involved two northern ex-governors that were arrested and prosecuted for corruption, with one of them actually spending time in Prison with his son.
How then can it be claimed that the fight against corruption is designed to paint the leaders of the SS/SE in a bad hue? |

No matter how we keep telling ourselves lies we can never play it to our conscience. Then stop lying to yourself. If the president knows what he is doing, hos top priority since assumming office should be checking and finding solution to tge insecurity pdoblem we are having at the top notch. BH keeps bombing and killing people for fun sake and NA couldnt record even 10percebt victory since May29. That man, The president doesnt know what he is doing. He thinks its untill he goes to America he can make things cones normal. What a shame. We will all see where this ends.
And to any of those gullible buhari fan, quote me and i will assume your brain is just as depleted as your leader, BUHARI. Are you afraid your silliness will be exposed? You clearly want PMB to go after the terrorists like a crazed man with a machine gun like the inexperienced Jonathan instead of a tactical, strategic and well planned assault and final elimination of the blood suckers. The beginning of madness is doing the same thing twice and expecting a different result. This is military experience at play. Jorussia: The Igbo nation is indeed unfairly marginalized by the Nigeria state,as regards federal appointments. The Igbos placed a horrible and naive bet and lost woefully. The kind of bloc hate votes they cast against PMB and the ruling party cannot be ignored no matter how long people try to play ostrich for. It is also unfair to President Buhari to expect him to compromise his government with people who neither gave him their mandate, believed in his ability to govern, or even believe in the prosperity of Nigeria. This is aside from the fact that the appointments were merit-based. |

Monguno's efforts against BH are documented for those that seek the truth. ** Military will review security measures in Borno as appropriate, says Defence Chief PetinrinOn 23 February, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin, stated that the troops deployed to Borno State to check the violent activities of the Boko Haram sect, would continually ‘review and change’ their strategies, in order to ensure better protection of lives and property. Marshal Petinrin stated this at the Government House in Maiduguri while briefing Governor Ali Modu Sheriff on efforts to end the serial killings in the state. Petinrin said the military will continue to change its approach until it finds a solution to the security challenges. “We recently changed our strategy and we will continue to do so, until we succeed in all the places we are having challenges, including Borno, Bauchi and Plateau States. Part of the success is that, the military and other security agencies impounded several arms and ammunition in Maiduguri recently,” he said “We are going to change the way we operate. It will be aggressive, but people should bear with us. I want to call on the people of the state, not to panic because the military and other security agents deployed to the state are working together to ensure that peace returns very soon,” he added. He however assured the governor and residents that the new security operations would be for a short while. Responding, Sheriff thanked Marshal Petinrin for the army’s intervention to restore peace in the state. He said the security measures already taken by the soldiers and the police have yielded results, as six of the suspected sect members were killed only three days earlier. He also pointed to the recent arrest of two financiers of the sect and the seizure of arms and ammunitions from the sect’s houses in Maiduguri and Damaturu, the Yobe State capital. The Chief of Defence Staff was accompanied by the Chief of Policy and Planning, Air Vice Marshal Dick Irunabere, Chief of Logistics, Major General Atiegoba, Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General Babagana Monguno; assistant director of operations (Land), Col. O.O. Adeniyi and director, defence information, Col. M.M. Yerima. https://saferafricagroup./tag/major-general-babagana-monguno/ |
