romance007:
Pls only matured advice.
Am young (21yrs) undergraduate. I currently have an NCE. I met this guy about 2yrs ago and am deeply in love with him. I believe strongly that he loves me too. We are both from Plateau State with diff tribe but that's never an issue. We share similar values and have spoken alot about getting married and how our home should be. Both of us are devout Christians. He has a HND and is already gainfully employed and thus ready to settle down. He's 29. I dont mind marrying him right away too cos ive studied him and i believe he will make a good husband.

Issue is after obtaining my NCE, I started off a five year lab course at Unijos and am just in my 1st year. While he is willing to wait till i enter my 2nd year or possibly finish 2nd year (abt 1.5yrs from now), my parents think differently. My parents dont want to hear me talk about marriage as they want me to finish school and get a job before settling down. My dad is worst as he believes i should only have a boyfriend after i graduate angry lipsrsealed. I know they say love is patient but of cos that's y he is willing to wait till my 2nd year. We plan on delaying childbirth until we are properly settled in the marriage and feel a child could be managed. I cant imagine keeping him for 5-6 years; that's crazy. I myself cant bear not being with him for that long.
Pls has anyone come across such experience? How do you think i should handle this? It's killing me ohh!! pls advice this young lady maturely abeg. Thks
21? What do you even know about love and sex at this age? My friend go to school, enjoy being single for a while, finish and start to build a career for yourself! Before you end up at 31 with numerous regrets, bitterness and begin to sow your wild oats 10 years too late!

EasternLeopard:
Call any federal worker to confirm this

Buhari dangerous Buharomics about to destroy Nigeria economically and usher in a devastating poverty

IMPLICATIONS OF BUHARI'S ACTION

1) Less money means less spendings, savings and investments

2) less spending , savings and investment means businesses will experience less sales bringing economic activities to a halt

3) less sales means

a) people will have less money to afford good food shelter clothing education health etc for their families and dependants

b) Companies will lay off many workers in order to survive

c) foreign investments will avoid Nigeria while those on ground will leave enmass

4) With increase in unemployment,

, crimes terrorism corruption etc will eescalate.

Buhari must surround himself with season economists from all geopolitical zones to help him manage Nigeria's financial and economic sectors

For now Buhari don't have season economists on his team

He needs at least 6

Buhari must reverse this policy or face a disappointed and hostile Nigerians ready to support impeachment proceedings against him.

The Vanguard Punch Dailytrust Sun Channels AIT BBC CNN etc must investigate this

This o.p does not seem to realise that both the "massob" and "ipob" movements are both highly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things!

You know, I've always wondered why the women on this board seem to "fight" with you guys a lot, I clearly get it now.

My bad.
Stop being blase! Because we are honest here? I've always wondered why some of you women don't appreciate honesty? I gave you the 'real deal' about an issue that you were debating about with some of my brethren yesterday!
My points were actually in support of yours as regards the debate, but all you could muster as a reply was "smh"! So whose fault was that?

By the way since when did civil conversations between consenting adults become known as "fights"?

Its a nightmare
I wake up
Brace up

The morning sun, still hear echoes of Last nights exchange of words /

In bed, beneath my sheets, covered in my thoughts /

Am sadden, my heart cries, the organ caged in my lungs /

Play the chords /

Of agony, a sad melody

Raging on /

While I shed tears of a sad violinist /

Interrogated by remorse with whips, knives n scissors /

Truly, making you cry wasn't my intentions /

And now am strangled by regret, I could die in minutes /

My hearts torched, 3rd degree burns /

The chain reaction of events had me overreacting, and anger was born /

My soul wails, thoughts erupt from the top of my head, mind entangled in thorns /

Am sensitive when it comes to you, so I got jealous, but look what I earn /

You thinking I don't trust you, I do. love you tooo much gurl, is that what the problem is!? /

I reckon, but my mind sees nothing wrong with it /

Am over possessive, I admit the verdict from my consciousness /

Its a problem, just give me some time to solve it plz /

Cc: krone , funlord, adana28 , sinizia , reygenius and the others .. your thoughts

oh!! n mudhG .. hope you dont mind useing two of your lines n your style .. i like em ...and they fit the current situation(had a fight with my gurl *sad*) .. givr me your feedback ayt .. thx
Not bad! Anyway your opener was your best graph but learn to paint vivid pictures through your writing so that this: (written by YOU)

Can turn into this: ( modified by ME)

"It was just a nightmare, glad to wake up to the familiar glare of the morning sun,

still hear echoes of last nights heated exchange of words /
I lay beneath my sheets, only covered in gory thoughts /

saddened, my heart sends the message out to the organ caged deep within my lungs /
Play the chords of agony and sad melodies so that my melancholy rages on /"

Men! This was a severe battle! Both guys definitely brought it!

Anyway in fairness obesemf and raplinx were both consistent, and flowed nicely, raplinx had more rhymes but he lost me towards the closing graph( starting from the joe, bob and outlaw parts just felt lazy), obesemf's imagery was nice and stirred up memories of youth a lot better than linxs! In other words it was more 'poetic' in nature!

But both contestants seemed more comfortable in painting 'scenarios of youth', it would have been nice to see some scripts about how they transformed to 'men, the rap life, the streets etc!' Content was lacking guys, it won't be overlooked in subsequent rounds for sure!

Speaking for myself girl, I do not and can not pretend to know everything concerning women...it isn't actually something I actively try to learn or know.

But I did ask a question, and I defer to your subsequent honest answer.
Are you seriously trying to imply that "consistent sex or childbirth has no effect on the elasticity of a vag.ina?"
Crack! You like to waste your time oh? Did you not see the simple "3 point answer" I gave the young woman regarding your hi -lighted line and her subsequent reply to it? Or maybe your just having fun? Lol.......
