Quintopia: Pakistan does not produce 41,000 mw, you stupid school dropout. That is their installed generation capacity. Nigeria's is 13,000.
Pakistan's actual generation is about 22,000 mw, which is 4 times Nigeria's. That was shown in the link I posted, but your IQ is too low to differentiate between installed capacity and actual distribution, so you're juxtaposing Pakistan's installed capacity with Nigeria's actual daily generation and distribution..
Forum of loud-mouthed, low iQ illiterates.

franugo: Thank you. I really don't understand how anyone in their right minds would attempt to defend the judge. Firstly, the case being heard is not a criminal case, it's a simple libel, there was absolutely no need to invite fully armed policemen into the court as there was no threat to life. Secondly, can someone please give me a valid reason why the judge did not want the proceedings to be recorded? Once again, this is a libel case, not really something that needs to stay hidden except you're planning on making some absurd judgements. Thirdly judge ekaette said inibehe pointed at her and banged on the table, thereby displaying unruly and rude behaviour.....I'm sure the court has a camera, let her release the footage so we see for ourselves because to any sensible person, she has no base whatsoever. Fact is most people on the comments don't read.. They just see a headline and jump on comments |

The lawyer cited that he feels intimidated and formally appealed to the judge to send the armed men out which is a justifiable plea... The Judge should just oblige for the sake of equity,
The judge feels threatened by a PT journalist that's not even with a camera and got his phone seized but not intimidated by the AK47 wielding officers.. Isn't it ironic?? |

lhordspy: Attention seeking lawyer.
You disobeyed and talk rudely to a sitting Judge in her Court . Such effontery!
Is the firearm been use on anybody?? Why cant he continue with his client defense instead of creating unnecessary attention diversion of the court.
Or have we ever experience a firearm been fired in the court before?? I dont think so.
So the drama was unnneccessary, he wants cheap attention at the expense of the judge.
Very unnecessary.
And you all will always scream "sane country" "sane country" ... Is this how they behave over there to achieved a working judicial system.
Well, all your Zombidients and enemy of Nigeria apologist will soon be here all over the thread saying deaming words against Nigeria. Guy follow what happened properly and stop spewing rubbish... Mumu, have you ever seen an armed officer inside a court?? Ak47 can be allowed in the courts but cameras are barred...and it's normal to u abi.. Pointing out what the judge already knows isn't the norm in the court room isn't wrong oga except say u use head hit wood yesterday |

Quintopia: Bumbling illiterate. Pakistan has installed capacity of 41,000 mw and Nigeria 13,000 mw. Where did you see ''10 times''?
India has a population of 1.2 billion, equivalent to all of AFRICA, plus an annual budget of 527 billion dollars compared to Nigeria's 35 billion dollars, so why should she not produce far more power than Nigeria?
Many of you people need to go and get a refund on your education because you are really slow upstairs. Next time don't jump into topics you barely know nothing about bleating like a lost sheep... If Pakistan produces 41000 and Ur country produces 4000...simples mathematics should tel u dey produce 10 times more than ur failed country does... But how will u understand when you're a 16yr old eager to use google.... U should compare Nigeria with d top 30 economy in Africa , make sure you also ratio power generation by population and show me where your country lies... If you can do the simple mathematics and list the countries in tabular form... You have won urself 5k.... But e sure me say u no fit... Na to run go Google like bat dey always sweet u, to think well na hard thing for you |

Quintopia: Why should you not compare Nigeria with those countries? Is it not human beings that live there? Or you think those countries don't have resources of their own? You think only Nigeria has resources?
Even the oil you think you have, UAE has three times your reserves, and exports thrice your number of barrels per day for their tiny 9 million population. Yet you people think you should be 'like Dubai' because you 'have oil'. No sir. Your 200 million population means your oil and gas revenue and annual budget of 35 billion dollars are grossly insufficient to develop your country. You need further economic diversification, and that takes decades to achieve.
So instead of going around saying your country is ''failed'', recognise your true situation of being a developing country, and stop living in fantasy land, in which you could easily be ''like Dubai'' and ''like the USA'' (whose annual budget is 7.6 trillion dollars) if only those 'corrupt leaders' would 'stop stealing all our money'.
Which money do you have?
It is the height of ignorance to reason that way. The UK, France, Germany etc all have annual budgets surpassing 2 trillion dollars. Nigeria is a poor country compared to those nations, and it has absolutely nothing to do with ''our leaders''.
Sorry I've no idea what you're on about here. It has nothing to do with our leaders? You're talking about the richest country in Africa looted dry by your kinsmen who have been leaders but decided to loot the country dry.. Even u that's an offspring can barely afford data or petrol to fuel Ur Gen and ur here talking about nothing to do with our leaders? So whose fault is it.? Guy even TV Joshua no go fit deliver ur ment. |

Quintopia: Ode, I said among DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, it is a fact that the bigger the country (eg India, Pakistan, Bangladesh), the more acute the power problems. So why are you mentioning Russia and China? Are those developing nations? Pakistan power crisis https://asia.nikkei.com/Economy/Pakistan-blackouts-choke-economy-as-China-power-plants-go-unpaid
India power crisis https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/explained-why-india-is-facing-longest-power-cuts-in-6-years/articleshow/91198487.cms
As far as power generation, Nigeria's issue is not power generation capacity but rather power distribution. So asking us to name Pakistan's generation is irrelevant. Nigeria's installed power generation capacity is over 13,000 megawatts which is sufficient in the short to medium term. The ongoing Siemens power deal (which you know nothing about) is aimed at improving the national grid and its distribution capacity, so that the nation can generate and distribute more power across the country. Mumu u shot urself on the foot with this link... Ur link shows Pakistan produces 10 times more than Nigeria.. India produces 40times more than Nigeria so what exactly are you trying to justify? |

OriOko88: You're just bleating like a goat, giving vague comparison here and there. Why not post the power generation of Pakistan and Bangladesh so we could see that they're also generating 5k megawatts capacity as Nigeria. They have almost d same size as Nigeria. Post their power generation now let's see. Ignoramus. The fool is saying the bigger d country the bigger the power problem. That means big countries like Russia, china and brazil too are experiencing power problems because of their big sizes. Ode ni bobo i sha. See idiotic comparison Walahi.. Òde burúkú lọ ń bá soro |

Quintopia: YOU TELL US, since you claim to ''know''.
Stupid dunce calling Ghana of 20 million people.
Why should Ghana not have better power supply with such a tiny population?
The smaller a country, the easier it is to supply it with power. That is why large developing nations like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria etc, suffer acute power shortages, and require more power investment over more years to reach full coverage than say Rwanda, Togo, Gambia, Ghana, Namibia or Benin Republic.
Don't use your common sense, you hear? Mumu X 1000. Oga them say make u compare and contrast... Eleribu ọmọ ale |

Quintopia: ABEG SHUT UP. Power supply takes a long while to get right for a huge population like Nigeria.
South Africa has been building power infrastructure since the 1800s while Nigeria's first power plant, Kainji dam, was commissioned only in 1964 after independence, since all the British colonisers did was loot.
You are a goat.. You should shut up.. There's been power in Nigeria befr 1964
If they elect you, you will encounter the same difficulties of previous leaders. |
