aboyaji:The truth is that if cultism pays, the common man would not be able to join or enter. an example is the federal jobs in Nigeria, how many common man dey there? |
kehinde1588:Go and read your books properly. The legislative arm can perform any function as far as the people cried to them on the issue. I know many of do not know this but the legislative arm of govt is the strongest arm in a Democratic setting. |
is that Jubril lol |
scholes0:the picture you attached there is not for 1963 but a cooked up BS by an idot. In 1963, there was nothing like Edo or Rivers state, most states written there were non-existence so where did you get that picture from? |
Pls let's tell ourselves the truth. who will be in charge of these nukes? The army. Now looking at Nigeria of today, the number one enemy of the Nigerian security is its citizens. once a soldier graduates from training, he is eager to test it on the citizen. Once these men are in possession of such weapon. it is the citizens that should be scared not outsiders. Cause I'm sure the army would have tested it on IPOB if they had such |
FroshD:God bless you my brother. I no know why dem forget our people Black face Hard life Stereo man Ekwe |
Bede2u:I just read some of your post on this thread and I came to the conclusion that its either you are a paid agent or you are politically naive. For this reason I'll refrain from further response. |
Bede2u:so what if the president sends the bill and the nass refuse to pass it? what happens? In order to restructure, the president is not even needed. his input is not that relevant. All that is required is the willingness of the Nass. Anybody can be the sender. its not mandatory that the President must be the person to send the bill |
Bede2u:I'm telling you this so you don't end up being disappointed later, "Atiku will never restructure". One of the reasons for this is that restructuring is actually a legislative function not executive. |
kYjelly2:you're the one that need proper education. The fact that you think that Nig problem can be solved by one individual (a hero) shows you need your brain checked. That was how you people shouted sai Baba some years ago telling everyone he is the solution to Nigeria's problem, today we've seen he is a disaster, they are coming up with another hero. Your Sowore hurriedly came up with a party when its election period in order to be another rich individual. You're here licking his anus. Where were they this past years when the country needed an opposition party to keep the ruling party in check? I can tell you after this election both Sowore and his party will not be heard till next election. Is that how to play opposition? And is that the kind of individual you will vote for? smh. Someone is even mentioning his education qualification as if we've not heard these before. smh |
lindabon:leave all the English, if sowore becomes a president today under this present structure and system, he will steal a lot of money. |
Ndonu101:in Nigeria justice is for sale. if you've never been in situation where you needed justice and it was sold you can be saying this. Or is this not the same country where we were getting conflicting judgement report on a particular case (Makarfi and Modu Sheriff). were the prosecutors also responsible for those judgements. Moreover I raised lot of points in my previous post but this is just one out of it |
Ndonu101:are you saying you don't know that Nigeria is a failed state and can't dish out justice to defaulting citizens? Why did you think Buhari embarked on a raid on the judges? why do you think the army perform extra judicial killings? and how many Book haram members have been tried and sentenced? why is there plea bargain for the elite? I'm not a Buhari or Atiku fan but we are wasting our time in this country. |
bedspread:are you saying Atiku's business is larger than Mtn Ng, Dangote group. cause these ones have not been able to employ up to 50,000 Nigerians. |
The girl should know that God still love her but most importantly she should humble herself and go back to Primary one(Basic 1) |
haffaze777:pls wake up from your dream. Buhari will loose Osun state. That's very certain. Even if you ask Buhari today, he will tell you he has lost Osun. The other remaining States will not be a landslide for APC, it will be like 65% to 35%, 60% to 40%, 55% to 45% etc like that |
both Tambuwal and Saraki will get a good number of vote from SE and SS. The issue is SW. Kwankwaso on the other hand will fail woefully in the southern region. As for Atiku, it would have been better he didn't waste his money in this election |
buhariguy:So you're actually writing this so the world sees how foolish some Nigerian's can be. God!! No wonder they call us third world country. If you had learned economics in your secondary school, you would have seen ways of controlling overpopulation. You can Google it if you think its impossible to control population. I won't be surprised if people like you also believe its impossible to eradicate poverty. If you read the history of USA, Canada, Australia you will find that they applied some of those techniques and it helped them. |
buhariguy:What nonsense did you just type. The white man was able to manage the little resources to cater for us and we are not able to do same for ourselves today, you are talking of population. It is the duty of any reasonable govt to manage its population. If the present govt feels population is our problem, what are they doing about it? I personally look at our politicians from executive to legislature to judiciary. Its still thesame set of people who have been ruling since I was born, even though I'm 35 now. |
It is a mistake and a big error that Nigeria is still one at 58. |
That handwriting is written by a computer not human. I'm surprised people don't know this |
Op your dream might not be far from reality. The biggest problem no one seem to be talking about is the disregard for the judiciary. Presidents don't obey their judgements; since the era of OBJ it had been so. Governors don't obey them as well. Even private establishment don't obey them; recently MTN disobeyed a court order and nothing happened. |
MIKOLOWISKA:You know when I saw this mention, my guess was the question you asked. THE ANSWER: only the voter should be allowed into the room where the ballot box is kept, all party agents should be disallowed from entering. This can be achieved by reintroducing those mobile room where the ballot box is kept during Jega's era. The result of this is that after voting, no one will know who you have voted for. This is how vote buying works (from experience); the voter is told to vote for party A for a sum of amount. He agrees, goes in while agents hang around to confirm if the voter will comply. Once the voter complies, the agent signals to another party member who might not be too close. But once the voting system is secret you don spoil work be that. So I personally think its a deliberate attempt not making the voting process secret |
The solution to vote buying is as simple as 1,2,3, I don't want to believe the INEC are also searching for that solution. But this is surely not the solution. Instead Buhari and his people are planning ways to perfect in rigging. God will surely expose them. On that day, I'm going with my phone |
Lekewatt:Whether you agree or not is irrelevant. The average Life expectancy in Nigeria is 43. If you doubt this, visit the mortuary and see the ages of people there. Lastly whether you like it or not, you will die one day so no need to be scared. I don't know why most of you think everyone is scared of death. If I die today I'm happy how my life played out. |
An average Nigerian is expected to die at 43 years old. Why did the op omit that? |
Is he even aware Nigeria does not have any boundary with Ghana |
kotv:Pls how old are you? I'm talking of reality you're talking of social media. Who does not know that most commentators on social media are paid by politicians to give the country a false image in the eyes of the international community. You are judging northerners by few paid India iduals on social media. Now let's look at it, what is the population of northern Nigeria and how many of them can even read and write? The fact that you are judging them by post you read from people on social media shows you don't know them. When bokoharam started as a freedom group who wanted to form a sharia republic even Buhari supported them because they had the locals support. Go figure. |
@Lilisticlili there is no region today in Nigeria that want to stay as a country. The only people that support one Nigeria are politicians (all politicians, whether from the east, south, north or west). The ordinary Nigerians want the country splitter up. The first set of people that attempted to break away from Nigeria was the north, the second was the Niger delta, the third was the east. As of today everybody want Nigeria splitted . don't be deceived by nonsense you read on the papers. The ordinary man don't get interviewed on paper its the politicians that feature there. Have you ever seen an ordinary man sincerely telling you he is comfortable and happy with one Nigeria? |
Dandsome:I wonder why no one is talking about this. A man that should be arrested immediately is sitting with the legislatures about to steal more money. Thief! |
12Monkeys:You are saying the truth but the vulgar language might not make people take your point. I personally believe that our founding father (Awo, Zik, sarduna, okotie ebor) contributed to the problems of Nigeria by complicating the British created entity. Any present day Nigerian who still see them as heros is not ready for development and is plain silly |
@loyedammy they are not rumor spinners but APC leaders. Here is a link: https://punchng.com/national-assembly-invasion-apc-makes-a-u-turn-defends-dss-action/amp/?__twitter_impression=true https://www.nairaland.com/4666039/national-assembly-invasion-apc-makes Those APC leaders are indirectly telling the world and Nigerians that the president is not in control of his govt. Recall the APC chairman once said that PMB condones disrespect in his govt. The President is the only one who controls the DSS yet the APC wants us to believe that it was saraki that sent them there. Does that not mean that the President is useless and not in Control of his govt. And they want Nigerians to vote such individual In the forth coming election. How stupid can that be? |
