seunmsg: Still won't stop Oshiomole and his faction from defeating PDP in next years general election. He had defeated Secondus in almost all elections held since they both emerged as chairman of their respective party.
Oshiomole's attendance also goes to show that he's a very matured democrat who doesn't take election to be do or die. I can bet the current PDP chairman cannot attend a private event of PMB even if invited. He deserves some accolades. Why don't you wait until he is invited, that is if they would invite him , if this was an APC members event they will not invite anyone from PDP, but GEJ with a good spirit invited everyone from both sides. |

I wonder why anyone will honour the invitation to the launch of a book where an ineffective drunkard will try to justify his acts of cowardice. A book where someone blames another for the consequences of his naivety.
Shame on you GEJ.
Posterity will forever remember you as the failure who never fully understood the power of the Presidency,
A coward who threw in the towel before the fight was over and the mumu that spat out the sugar put in his mouth by the gods.
It's sadly ironic that the first President of Niger Delta extraction is an opposite reflection of every virtue the Niger Delta is known and reverred for.
I'd forever respect Buhari for not jailing GEJ. Not for the unabated looting that occurred under his watch, but for his legendary foolishness. Guy take it easy on him |

nimisola: Femi Adesina says President Muhammadu Buhari would rather lose the 2019 presidential election than rig it.
The presidential spokesman said this while speaking during a programme on ARISE TV on Tuesday.
Commenting on concerns raised ahead of the 2019 elections, Adesina said the process will be free and fair.
“I’m surprised that this president has been with you for three and half years and yet you do not seem to know him,” he said.
“If anybody would rig election or anything, it will not be President Muhammadu Buhari. He would rather even prefer to lose fair and square.
“He has even said it before that if the only thing he would leave as a legacy for Nigeria is free and fair election, he would do it. Forget that the election would be rigged, that will not happen.”
Reacting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) statement that Buhari’s ‘Next Level’ document “failed to articulate any solutions,” Adesina said: “PDP is down and will remain there for a very long time so I’d rather not talk about them.
“The Next Level is about deepening what is happening in the country. It’s about consolidating on what has been done and what is been done; its about making progress and advancing on what we are doing now. That is the sum total of it.
“A lot of Nigerians believe in what this administration is doing, they have faith, they have confidence, they have hope that the administration will take Nigerians to the place it deserves to be.
“The work in progress will continue and if you look at the documents that were released, you’ll see additional focal areas.
“So in the next dispensation and by the goodwill of Nigerians who will re-elect the current administration, these three focal areas (security, economy and infrastructure) will continue to receive attention and there will be additional ones as you’ve seen in the documents.”
Commenting on the indictment of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) over the N5.8 billion fund released for internally displaced persons (IDPs), Adesina said, “it is more of a political thing rather than something grounded in facts and truth”.

FOLYKAZE: Some years back, a drunkard from Otuoeke in Bayelsa state deceived us with a rhetoric about how he sold fish, had no shoe and back pack which he can take to school. He ended up spending the national treasury on hot wine, graduated from selling fish to selling national asset NEPA to his friends, side chicks and cronies. He bought enough back pack for himself and his wife to launder our national wealth.
Today, a so called Atiku, a known "Akotileta" is claiming he is an orphan, without ancestral traces. He is telling us that he sold firewood to survive. He once sold Nigeria assets to himself. He wants to comeback again to sell NNPC to his cronies. Is there any connection between PDP and OLX? Why is everything about them is selling our collective national asset? Nigerians abeg run I have told you before that when Atiku wins you will be sold along with NNPC, because you are something else, |

Na from the sales process money dey Just wish you could be sold along with NNPC |

presidency: As the nation moves into election mode with the commencement of election campaigns next week, President Muhammadu Buhari has again, given assurances of his determination to lay a foundation for free, fair and credible elections in the country.
Responding to a speech by a delegation of Imams and senior Islamic scholars from the 36 states of the federation at the State House on Friday, President Buhari said that a number of measures put in place have seen the gradual improvement of elections, as in Edo, Anambra, Ekiti and Osun States from what he described as “dismal and unacceptable levels witnessed in Rivers and Kogi States.”
According to the President, “What I want to assure Nigerians is that I will continue to pressure the Police and other agencies to do their best to ensure a conducive atmosphere for free and fair elections.”
On the issue of security raised by the religious group, President Buhari said he will continue to nudge security agencies to find lasting solutions, stressing however, the need for community and religious leaders to play a part in identifying criminals in their midst.
The President thanked the Muslim religious leaders for recognizing the various achievements of the administration especially, in dealing with security, fighting corruption and progress in agriculture.
“I am not satisfied with the reporting of agriculture. Millions of our citizens have returned to the farms with many leaving white collar jobs for opportunities in agriculture,” he noted.
The leader of the delegation, Dr. Khalid Aliyu, who is the Secretary General of the Jama’atul Nasril Islam, had lavishly praised the President’s achievements in key areas of his campaign in 2015 namely, security, corruption and the economy.
According to him, “So far, so good, government has gone a long way in meeting its promises.”
