Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Rev Father Mbaka was raising money to build a house for God and its normal in Bazaar to raise funds publicly. He couldn't have honoured the invitation as he knows very well its about fund raising
But there was no wisdom in his utterances, it has nothing to do with talking to the poor or the rich, so from my point of view and yours Obi was not out o place to say he would make his donations privately, let's not over flog this issue Obi has done nothing wrong, but rather the man of God should be able to apply wisdom when addressing the issue

After Father Mbaka's outburst with Peter Obi last week, people were expecting that he will be scared.
However, Father Mbaka seems undisturbed. While speaking today at Wednesday's 'E No Dey Programme', he said he is scripturally right and not cowed.

According to him,Sunday's programme was a bazaar programme where people are invited to support church project(done once a year). He said there is nothing to hide. He gave instances with biblical verses to back up his claim. He recalled how Ananias and his wife died in the bible while trying to be tricky with Peter after selling their land.

He said Peter Obi is his son and he has every right to tell him if he is stingy or not.

According to him, what he asked for in a bazaar was to support God's project not Mbaka's project.

He said no project there belongs to him but Catholic church.Speaking further,he said when you are anointed, you can talk to both the poor/politicians without fear.

He made it clear that anybody who is fighting him is fighting God.

Watch the video on the link above(he talked about the outburst from 59thminute or so of the video).I will share the 2nd part of the video tomorrow.

“When you give … do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” (Matthew 6:3). This saying epitomizes the mystery of Jesus’ sayings. What does Jesus really mean by this saying

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 6:1 ESV

Well I don't see anything wrong in what the bishop has said, he only requested that the Presidency reacts to such heavy alligations, you don't remain silent on issues like that be it true or lie.

Instead it took the President to travel to Poland to respond, that doesn't seem like a responsible act. And why does PMB always respond to sensitive National issues abroad, it goes to show that something's are not OK, but we are watching to see how far this goes.

Naa, as of 1995 PH was cleaner and saner than 98% of Nigerian cities. We know it's dirty now, but please don't exaggerate.
As of 1995 almost all the Rumus were still villages with bushes covered everywhere. Then there was nothing like hip of gabbage on the center of the roads, nothing like bottle water or pure water. Ph then was 95% Rivers indigenes, not now that it's filled with Nigerians from every part of the country especially SE peeps looking for a better life.
It was clean and nice then. Not now.
I am not Exaggerating, is Diobu not part of Port Harcourt City, I am not talking of the Rumus.

If ph became a gabbage city from Wike's tenure then you are just blind. Ph became dirty since the second tenure of odili and has progressively worsen.
PH had being dirty since 1995 when I first came to PH, that was when they lost the status of a Garden city, so dont blame Wike, they all have failed to maintain the status, PH needs a comprehensive waste disposal policy.

This is what was removed from the stomach of a woman who thought she was pregnant, not knowing she had fibroid

According to the woman based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, it hasn’t been an easy journey for her because she thought she was pregnant with child.

She revealed that having to deal with the loss of 3 children to different medical conditions wasn’t easy for her as a mother but the sight of the protruding stomach brought back a little bit of hope.

For almost 2 years nothing happened and she had to go to the hospital to check up and run scan. It was during these scan that she was told that she wasn’t pregnant but had Fibroid.

They spoke to her about the symptoms and she realised that she's had this thing for more than 7 years without knowing what it was.

She disclosed that her devastation was indeed unbearable because her husband had left her insinuating that what she was carrying in her stomach was the reason for his misfortunes in life.

The woman has undergone a successful surgery and the fibroids removed.

I know this news can only come from Akwa Ibom, no disrespect

Disgraced Self-Aclaimed Speaker Bleeding Heavily, Hospitalized After Jumping Assembly Fence

Igbere Tv has obtained exclusive pictures of the embattled self-acclaimed Speaker, Nse Ntuen, a former member of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly who was hospitalized after bleeding profusely from deep cuts he received while scalling the walls of the Assembly complex today.

Igbere Tv reported earlier of attempts by five unseated All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers to take control of the 26 man Assembly.

The former lawmakers however absconded through the back door, scalling the barbed wire fence when the Speaker, Onofiok Luke and other members of the Assembly arrived.

“He was also told that Obi’s emergence has further raised the acceptability level of the PDP across the country.”

This is a wonderful credentials, this what Nigerians should be looking for, you think if Obi had any corruption case against him EFCC or APC would not have announced to the whole world, you can see a man running for an election without any skeleton, what APC had on him was that he was a Tribal bigot, which we all handled. Oyigbo is almost and hour drive from Port Harcourt, mind you I am against the both places not kept clean, but you should carry out proper investigation and inform your readers with the right information

An attempt by miscreants who were formerly members of the state House of Assembly had been foiled.
The illegal invasion by five sacked lawmakers was aided by some security agents and thugs, who chased out staff of the House of Assembly.

However the arrival of the Speaker of the Assembly Onofiok Luke, who was accompanied by 20 other members marked a tragic end of the comedy.

On sighting the arrival of the lawmakers, the impostors scampered out of the complex.

The 21 lawmakers have now taken their seats and the proceedings is about to commence.

The clerk of the House Mrs Mandu Umoren and other staff are now seated in the chambers.

The Chief Security Officer of the state, His Excellency Gov Udom Emmanuel arrived the complex and had a private meeting with the speaker in the Speaker's office.
Proceeding now in progress

BREAKING: Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Reconvenes, Suspends 11 Lawmakers
• Standing Committees Dissolved
The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly led by the New Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Sir) Nse Ntuen reconvened today. Members of the house who were at the plenary condemned the impunity unleashed by the former speaker, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke last week Monday.
The house moved a motion to suspend the following lawmakers: Onofiok Luke, Udo Kerian Akpan, Felicia Bassey, Nse Essien, Lawrence Udofia, Usoro Akpanusoh, Ime Okon, Friday Iwok, Asuquo Archibong, Mark Esset, Emmanuel Ekpenyong, Aniekan Uko till further notice.
The house also dissolved all standing committees constituted illegally by the former speaker and summoned Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ephraim Inyang-Eyen to appear before the House next plenary. Committees to be reconstituted headed by the Honourable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Nse Ntuen and adjourned till Tuesday 4th, December, 2018.
It's. Very shocking to read some of your comments and you want the best for this country, you sit in your various homes and take sides with some we all know that is wrong and at the same time you all want a better lives for yourself.

Yes PDP it we all kicked against it, so we all want it to be a way of life now in Nigeria, one Niger republic will take over Nigeria and some of us will not see anything wrong with. Whatever that's going on in Akwa ibom state is wrong and should be condemned by both parties, it's wrong and we should not see it as a way of doing things. PMB contested elections for how many times before he won, so if you don't win today you will certainly win tomorrow. Its not do or die
