Did Babangida even for once protest against those northern elders that promised to make Nigeria ungovernable? If anyone has Babangida's opinion against Boko Harem, please kindly post it for us to see.[/quote Don't mind IBB,they are all part if the plan to stop GEJ,if anything should go wrong with the peace moves, he will not be spared they distroyed this nation, how many times had he called. His brothers from to the north to orders, when ever they make unguided statements,IBB and OBJ should find away to resolve this issues on ground which they started and forget Asari. |
ballabriggs: You see I look at these ediots called ex-militants and I laugh. These are some m0r0ns assembles by Asari and Oronto. Keep playing the SS/SE vs the rest game, the joke is on you. At the appropriate time you all will understand how complex this country is if only your glass of ogogoro will let you.you seem to be the biggest mooron, their actions has put together elders from the north to delibrate on their threats and you sit here with your techno phone with no credit to call them morons,he that wears the shoe, knows were it itches,do you even have a shoe,to feel the pain they feel, the boys threat is giving them sleepless night, and you are here running your smelling mouth, please your mouth needs cleaning. And for the Northern elites if they want peace then they should call their G6 -Ameachi which we will handle out here or else relocates to the north.if they feel GEJ is not performing they sort it out with ballot not the one they are planning a coup in pdp, they don't have they right to stop GEJ from contesting,if he does contest and loose they so by it,but they stop the rubbish they do and say they are trying to protect our Democracy,we didn't vote them the Governor to fight for out democracy at the national level, they have a lot to do at the state level which they have not done. And if they feel their hands are clean then they should allow EFCC to investigate them and not force they presidency to stop EFCC,they should be mindful of themselves and their actions we the masses have not sent them to do what they are doing,if they are not careful we the masses will come after the G7, now Atiku is begging through the Northern Elites or bigots. |
Chloekim: This ABS guy is a thief that still hold Kwarans to ransom, he uses all the state fund to purchase things in the name of the state and later turn it to his. Bukky u are very silly, who care for your life, are u not the same person that was stoned in Ilorin few months ago at the eid ground and ur commissioner cum Governor. Thou I do not support GEJ but u deserve to be recalled from the senate and thrown to EFCC net. But GEJ should be careful remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely and can ruin your political career foreverWell it seems GEJ may decide to pull the carpet under their feet and the one he is standing on because if he is not coming back by 2015 then they should never get it,they should be very careful how they go about all this, because a wounded man can do unthinkable things,as it is GEJ is seriously wounded, his ego is wounded, the office of the president is greatly embarrassed,Which never happened during the days of OBJ and IBB,so if they would not want him to come back then the consequences of their actions wouldn't be too good, I know the G7 are after their personal gains not for us so they will all go down |
bloggernaija: That is an impeachable offense.Mark which date you guys are joking nothing will happen to gej,he will come out smiling because those seven governors are not for the people but for themselves so they will not win,but if they are for they people they will win |
anyone know if Tinapa is getting better now?
Its not getting better, I was there last weekend with my family, if it continue like this it will be a ghost town soon.there are a lot of issues facing Tinapa, one the location is bad in the sense that the people of calabar don't have the money to take up the shops their, most of the shop owners are from Lagos, and the market is not there most calabar residents don't have the financial power to buy things there, now they sell china goods that are so bad that you cannot use as a rag in Tinapa, the state and federal gov't need sit down and find a way to revive the place. The only time you have good market there is during festive periods after then it turns back to a ghost town with just. Few customers around. |
Gej out,Niger delta out,if all this scheming is because of our oil then, they should think twice, we will never allow a northern to country our resources again, we are sitting and watching how it all plays out,but they should be thinking of alternative resources to run their economy by the time we pull out, enough of all this its their birth right to rule we have had enough of them, for Ameachi he can continue his act, he is acting the script of the SS to get into the midst of the north and destablize them |
Aigbofa: How about his many first in Africa achievements? TV, Stadium , education and many more?Awo is a local champ, all the first he had was all located in the SW he is not a nationalist, very tribal and not a good sports man,but a very good local champ |
So if they can't come together as one and forge ahead then let the country spilt atiku and his cohorts are not patriotic they are still thieves fighting for thier interest and not the masses so they can go ahead and split PDP but they should. Be rest assured that if Jonathan does. Not return back what book haram did will be child play coz all oil installations will be brought down in the SS and our income will reduce to zero,so we must treat this issues carefully to avert all this coz we are tilting break up |
1st to comment some drinks in the house |
take dat: Short sighted, lazy and patronage-inclined self styled ethnic champions engaging in senseless ethnic-based and irrational arguments. So because both men are not from the ND, they must not interfere in ND affairs? So the Ijaws are now the mouthpiece for the entire region? The Ijaws most especially should shun forthwith, their agenda of promoting threat situations, and defending the indefensible whenever the presidency is criticized. No tribe has the monopoly of violence, nothing must happen to both men(WS and Falana)Then they should mind their business and remain in the south west enough of all this nonsense by wole soyinka and falana, already peace talk is ongoing, if they so desire they can protest in lagos they must not come to PH to compound issues for us |
seunfly: @ Akpomeme i think u sound boring now with ds ur attack on Prof, if it is pej dt employed u to do ds, u have to tell her dt when another power drunk first lady in d name of turai was busy doing something to her husband, it was prof Soyinka, Bakare and co dt faught like ds 4 her husband. Now she is power drunk and she send u to come and call d same prof mad man.Wole Soyinka has lost it, I very much agree with the first writer, he never took the time to find more about Ameachi and his person and all the atrocities he as done in Rivers state,, but due to the fact that he is broke he runs his mouth and come down here to Rivers state to collect his money, it is a shame for his personality.for an statesman at that he should not take side rather try and bring both parties together. And for that block head amala boy we are waiting for the westerners to come, hope you know you guys are sellout, snitch and betrayers we saw it from your leaders that visited the Rivers state recently, and from your OPC leader who turned Mustapha body guard, come on you guys we are waiting |
ogb5: Hero over what, is he having crisis because he is fighting for the masses?I agree with you my brother all this issues are not about improving Rivers state, that is why i am so mad when i see the comments of some Nairalanders, he took and office of oath to serve the people of Rivers state not being Chairman of NGF,Now our Governor is sharing the Resources of Rivers state to his fellow Goevrnor, be cause he lacks focus, and people will say its GEJ and Family tormenting,A new prison is being built for himself and others that is why Fashola is trying to withdraw his case against Jang, because evidences are coming out that they were bribed to vote for Ameachi, they are all going to Jail just like Ibori, they can never be heros |
Even if the story originated from the first Lady, was there anything wrong in what she said? People saying that Amechi is an elected Governor and nobody should question his authority, but still insult and question Mr. President authority, is GEJ not an elected person, they also sponsor Boko haram to cause distraction for him, God is watching and more than ever, we can see clearly what all this media propaganda is all about. You hypocrites, why not hold you governors to accountable? Twisting every story to suit your aspiration, come and get it. Food for thought; He that never sees anything good in another fellow is known as devil incarnate. No names mentioned, just identify who you are and mend your ways before it's too late. Nevertheless, frustration leads to desperation.
You are very right, nobody see anything wrong in what Ameachi has done so far, he intimidate people, suspend LGA chairmen at will because he his right, he has used the resources of rivers people amounting to Billions of Naira to bribe his fellow Governors just to prove a point that he is bigger than the president, you guys should take your time a check into Ameachi deeds, it is very likely he will run to Ghana again after his tenure, he has done a lot of unspeakable things, Maybe GEJ and family are not going about it the right way, but he Ameachi needs to b told the truth, his cup as run over this is just morning for him, all he has being doing to others his coming back to him in a hundred folds |
ilugunboy: Dunderhead and with all the stolen wealth by her parents..she is not educated enough to realise that Nigeria is a fatherlandWell she is right, but its most unfortunate it the truth was coming from the wrong person, at least its very obvious that the professor has gone to collect his share from Ameachi, because he can not justify his trip to Rivers state after tongue lashing PEJ, i am sure he collected for Falana also, old men that will not respect themselves |
In all of this I do not blame anybody except Ameachi, who is spending the resources of Rivers state to make a point to GEJ,for every person that takes to his side come and collect your share of the money Joe Igbokwe will come next week for his own part of the money.wole soyinka and the other governors came for theirs.when Ameachi was acting as a thing god in Rivers state by suspending LG Chairman at reckless abandon were where they, now he is crying fowl that GEJ wants to kill him,he likes being worshiped, but does not want to respect those senior to him, Rivers people should rise uo and stop all this people from coming to the state to carry our money because our governor has lost focus and fighting for rubbish. |
joker5180: am surprise u said u wunt take side, what r d issues that ought to hv bn addressed? what about d drama during NGF election, is it the same arrogance nd failure to resolve issues?I have read a lot contributions on this issues concerning Ameachi, GEJ and Wike and NGF and have decided to point out some issues that we all have closed our eyes to. 1. NGF is an issue for us to ponder so much about, it is a Voluntary organization as far as i know, that is not backed by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and as such any Governor who has forgtten the oath of office he took to protect and secure the lives and properties of its citizens, uphold the constitution, and to serve the public should be impeached for lack of Focus(lol)spending the allocation of Rivers people, this goes for all state governors, on baseless issues at the NGF. How has it benefited anyone.Ameachi should at this moment retrace his steps and focus on why he was elected Governor, he is the Governor of Rivers state and Not NGF, and henceforth he should stop wasting the state fund on NGF which is just a Jamboree for Governors with focus. 2. The issue between Ameachi and Wike has to do with who will represent their senatorial district at the senate, because i know most of you guys running your mouth do not know that both of them are aspiring to run for senate by 2015, Ameachi does not intend to be the Running mate to Lamido, all that is just a distraction. So all this is the problem between both former friends, which can be resolved. 3. Ameachi calling for the removal of Mbu is baseless because if what he said about him is right, the forces that be can also replace Mbu with someone that will do worse than Mbu, so if he Ameachi has the state at heart he should start sorting himself out rather compound issues for himself. 4. GEJ, as the CinC should at this time use his good office and save the Office of the President all this embarrassment, and call all parties together, for the good of this country, because as it now we are turning into a laughing stock. At this moment all parties should look out for a way to address this issues and lets move on their are a lot of things to be done. I will reserve other points for some other time. |
kenny1911: These are facts. Listed are the heads of state and government by their net worth, generally entered in U.S. dollars for simple comparison purposes, with former heads of state, and government listed separately from current incumbents. It should be disclosed that there are issues with converting the net worth of various individuals from around the world to a single currency, notably ignoring the buying power, and standard of living in a person's native country that could inflate or deflate the real value of his net worth relative to others upon this list. For example, when comparing the same standard of living it would cost more to live in a developed, and industrialized nation than it would in an undeveloped or poor nation, thus deflating the real value of a person's net worth in a lesser industrialized nation by representing their wealth in nominal form alone. It is also difficult to distinguish between the personal and Crown wealth of several ruling monarchs upon this list, particularly in countries ruled by an absolute monarch that do not have a need or practicality to separate the two. Many constitutional monarchies require a distinction between a monarch's personal finances from the monarch's state finances as a matter of law, thus several royals upon this list may have figures that underestimate their total financial standing because the wealth of their Crown is excluded. |

Nigeria’s wealthiest pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo, has reportedly put two of his four private planes up for sale. According to a report in the Nigerian media, the venerable clergyman has become overwhelmed with the colossal costs of managing four planes, and is said to have taken the decision to sell two of them. It is not yet known which planes he’s looking to sell. Earlier this year the bishop announced his latest acquisition- a $35 million Gulfstream V Jet. He also announced plans for a private aircraft hangar. Before he acquired the Gulfstream V, the man of God owned a Challenger 604 and a Gulfstream IV. Oyedepo has accumulated a vast fortune through his extensive real estate holdings, a publishing empire, and interests in universities and high schools. In June, I estimated his fortune was roughly $150 million. I called Oyedepo’s church earlier this morning to confirm the story. The phone rang, but no one answered |
