A business that makes no revenue for two months cannot just start from where it stopped. Google about British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and Warren Buffett's very own Berkshire Hathaway. All airlines are in a mess right now.
I agree with you,but the small scale businesses should not be left out from any bailout

iamadonis2:
Is there a plan by FG to provide bailout funds for an "informal" national carrier like Air Peace?

These directive will only further make the company lose revenue. FG may need to step in for them.
Why must they give bailout funds to air carriers, there no passengers so they park their planes, would you also give bailout funds to taxi and bus drivers that parked their buses and cars during the lockdown.

Guy focus, when flights resumes they will continue from where they stopped, he can place his workers on standby pending when things improves, how many companies will the government bailout. Atiku should have requested for bailout rather than sack his workers.

Politics › Re: Caverton Helicopters VS Wike: Why Many Businesses Prefer Lagos by gare(f): 8:01pm On Apr 09, 2020
9jatriot:
Port Harcourt as well as Warri used to be the darling state of many big and small oil and gas companies just a few years ago, but that is no longer the case because of similar situation as the one orchestrated by Wike in grounding the operations of Caverton Helicopters.

In spite of the multiple taxation in Lagos, the hold up, the many peculiar challenges in Lagos, many companies will rather have their businesses located in Lagos perceived to be the land of the "godfather" than in these places where their operation takes place.

Even indigenes of some of these places will rather leave their families in Lagos as they continue to work in locations like PH.

Caverton Helicopters has no choice because of their operation but to continue to operate in Port Harcourt anyway since they have no choice, but look at the ripple effect, many investors will remember this in future and locate their businesses in states where the state governor cannot just come and close their shop.

Those pilots presently under arrest pay the pensonal income tax to Rivers state, which means for every company that could have located their businesses in Rivers state but did not, that is an IGR lost and you wonder why our states are not innovative.
This is a very foolish write up to justify criminality, Caverton disobeyed the state law and endanger the lives of those in Rivers State you here making a useless write to justify what, I if they want to relocate they're very free we don't want such kind of companies here that will not obey a simple order of the government.

according to the land use act of Nigeria, the federal government owns all land and leaves it in trust of the states. Wike is a care taker. Buhari is the landlord
Who told you that please go and read again
The issue of Aviation being on the exclusive legislative list of the 1999 constitution is not in doubt. However. By virtue of the Land use Act of the of 1978 which is even a federal law, the Governor owns the land which he holds in trust on behalf of her citizens. It therefore follows that though the federal government can keep flying in and out of the state, the state government can restrict the passengers from entering the state. The state government can even revoke the certificate of occupancy granted to the federal government to cite the airport and every other institutions owned by the federal government which are situated within the state. All the state government need to do is to declare same citing public purposes and that's final.

Imo State : The Magic of 388 Polling Units of Uzodinma and why it should not stand the 2nd check by Supreme Court

By Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia

Let's look into the magic that paints our Judiciary black if allow to stand :

(1) Votes allocated to APC are higher than INEC certified Permant Voters Cards(PVC) Collected .

●Note: INEC produced certified copies of Voters registration and PVC collected in 388 polling units.

● Total Registered voters is 254,230

●Total PVC collected is 201,883

●Total Votes cast from 388 PUs is about 215,491 ( 13,199 above PVC collected).

● Some Polling Units, they allocated votes above the total Registered Voters!
Unheard anywhere and unintelligent arithmetics they put up to smear the image of the Supreme Court.

●Example:

(a) In 1. NO. 69 is Eziama/Okpala ( Umuogba Village Square, Eziama.) 008.

Here, Registered VOTERS : 492 .

APC scored :819.

VOTES; PDP 7.

Here, APC unbelievably scored more than the number of the registered voters.

2. NO 377 is Umuozu (Umuchoko Town Hall ) 006 with Registered VOTERS at 367

APC SCORED 367;

PDP SCORED 4.

Again, above registered number of voters.

3. NO. 384 is Umunkwo ( Community Primary School Umuopara ) 006 :
Registered VOTERS : 526

APC SCORED 526;
PDP 2.

Again, above registered voters .

(4) No 285 :OBUDI/ARO ( Central School Square Umusa II) Polling Unit 12

Registered Voters : 449
APC : 780 votes

PDP : 335 votes

Excess of 335 votes.

(5) No 282 : OBUDI/ARO (LA School Abudi II Polling 8.

Registered voters : 591

APC: 586 votes
PDP: 9 votes.

Excess of 4 votes.

●Example of LGAs of these 388 PUs with with votes above INEC certified PVC collected:

(A) Owerri West LGA :

PVC collected : 12,803

Votes cast : 18,343

(B) Owerri Municipal:

PVC collected: 770

Votes recorded: 1,202

(C) Oru East LGA :

PVC collected: 634

Votes recorded: 789

(D) Orsu LGA :

PVC collected: 1,294

Votes recorded: 2,348

(E) Orlu LGA :

PVC Collected: 1,401

Votes recorded: 3,291

(F) Ohaji/Egbema LGA:

PVC collected: 17,966

Votes cast: 19,728

(G) Obowo LGA:

PVC collected: 11,121

Votes cast: 13,521

(H) Nkwere LGA:

PVC collected: 3,863

Votes recorded: 3,873

(I) NJABA LGA:

PVC Collected: 2,412

Votes recorded: 2,510

(J) Ngor Okpala LGA:

PVC collected: 21,178

Votes cast: 23,813

(K) Mbaitoli LGA :

PVC collected: 10,385

Votes cast: 11,825

(L) Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA:

PVC collected: 506

Votes recorded: 520

It is obvious that they misled the noble Supreme Court !

Oya, look at the submission of the Police Officer Hope Uzodinma relied on to deceive the court :

Verbatim :

"In Exhibit NNN1 to NNN18, (subpoena) I was asked to produce 388 Forms EC8As retrieved by the police officers. I have some of the FORMS. I dont have 388 FORMS. The total number I brought is 368 and I cannot lay hands on 20 FORMS. I am surprised that the number of forms tendered are not up to the number I told the Honourable Tribunal. I cannot know whether there are mutilations or tampering in Exhibit PPP1 to PPP366."

~Testimony of DCP Rabiu Hussain at the Elections Petitions Tribunal on 31st July,2019 as recorded in Certified True Copy of Proceedings.

Even the police could not produce 388 PU results they initially told the court they have .

Just tell me why the Supreme Court will not reverse this judgement to save itself and restore Confidence in that Institution of Trust ?

Calculations generated and allocated to self by APC in 388 PUs in Imo State can only be allowed in a Court where Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole mni is the Justice .

I APPEAL TO NOBLE JUSTICES OF THE SUPREME COURT TO SAVE THE IMAGE OF THE JUDICIARY AND REVERSE ITS JUDGMENT ON IMO State.

#SaveOurConstitutionalDemocracy

Bros this is not an issue, it not like she doesn't want to have sex with you, but you should take control of your home.

You need to move back to your room, your first child should be sleeping in her room since there's provision, then for the 7months old well you all can sleep together on the same bed, if you sleep together then you are sure of having sex.

The reason for the first child moving to her room is that she could wake up seeing the both of you having sex which is not good.

So move back and take control of your home and sex life

Are Yoruba's suddenly angry about this type of statement from Miyetti Allah? I mean they caused all this by joining forces with the Fulani's to the detriment of the whole South in 2015.
Also for those of you think these people are not speaking the mind of the Buhari's administration, then you are probably sleeping.

One more thing: Tinubu has refused to comment on the issue because he is in a tight spot... If he supports it, he fears the backlash from the North and he can as well kiss his presidential bid goodbye......while if he doesn't support it, he risks the wrath of the entire South West, so he just wants to stay on the fence and let it play out itself.

To know a good leader is in tough times like this.... Tinubu has shown he isn't..... He is just all in it for himself.
It is very good this is happening to the West, and it's happening at a very good time, they were warned not to trust this Fulanis now you an imagine the comments just for setting up a security out fit to protect the west not just from Herdsmen but other criminals.

For Tinubu speaking or not, he can never rule this country, he had better save his bullion van money because even primaries he wouldn't win.
