I hardly remember dreams. But I think I had a dream yesterday that scares me.
Looks like in my recent dreams I have been seeing one particular church(dont know the name) that its frontage is now been used as a semi-shrine. It was in my yesternit dreams that I realise it was not once that I have seen that building/church/semi shrine before.

Then,this yesternit's dream happened that a gal(dont know her)asked me to accompany her to a place. On coming back towards a double lane road which we barely passed the church/semi shrine,she asked me do I know what happened to that church i.e why the frontage was turned into a semi-shrine. I cant remember my answer to her but we followed a different lane that will lead to the same part.
Then,after waiting for her to come up quickly,I now saw a liltle baby gal within the age of 2yrs instead of that gal. I was really confused but knew somehow it was her. One thing lead to the other,I started firing prayers to her but surprising she keeps fallen and getting up. It is unlike me in dreams cos I use to have victories in cases like this even when I am drifted from God. I woke up panting seriously when I realised that this gal dont want to die permanently and will overpower me soon.

Pls,I dont know if its malaria oooo but somehow I was really scared and sense it might be a message.
What might be the message if it's message?

A flash of what i saw this morning made me come here to write this.
I usually follow this thread from time to time because i have had my own very tough spiritual challenges and God saw me through it all.
I won't forget to mention Bro. Gazillion whom was amongst those who helped me tru dat period.
Not more than five days ago, i wanted to study the word and after praying that God should lead me where to read and where i was led to was Mark 13 from vs 14-27. It was talking about the awful horror that would take place. Unlike me i said some prayer concerning that event.
Fast forward to this morning around some minutes to 8 in the morning, i was half awake half asleep and the flash came just like a dream i was hearing shouts as if it was from afar and then it was coming closer then i started seeing flying objects bigger than planes like all these flying objects that aliens use to fly to earth in all these movies flying all over, there where giant beings that where not human walking around, there was destruction everywhere, i panicked but then i remembered what i read from the Bible which was for everyone to remain where they were. I was sitting on a couch, i just held the person next to me and started singing praises and everything vanished.
All these took place in less than 3 minutes, i jumped up from my bed and had to look for a way to share.
I do not know when this will happen but i just want to use this medium to tell all those waiting on the Lord that are getting weary to stand firm because he is coming soon and for unbelievers to please repent and be prepared for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ because he is coming soon.

You are right about repercussions when seers or spiritualist are visited. When I got pregnant for the first time, I was having horrible dreams that my mum took me to prophetess for prayers. I truly never liked it! But I had to because I was seeing death!

I was not happy in my marriage then because my husband was treating me shabbily. I wept several times and cried to God one midnight, standing naked. I then saw myself crying and complaining to elderly men with white beards, with , one of them was holding a staff, how my husband and in-law treat me. They nodded their heads and told me not to worry, they will look into it.

I got pregnant again, a man appeared to me in my dream, asked me to follow him to my bedroom, I saw my husband sitting, backing us, staring at our closed wardrobe. The tall man went behind his head and removed an object, then went under my matrimonial bed and removed a calabah pot. He then warned me never to visit any seers or spiritualist or prophetess again! If not, the demon attached to my husbands head will return back 10x worst! It was a relative of my husband who wants my husband to neglect me and face them only that did it to me! My husband changed for good and I never visited any seer again!

My cousin once asked his uncle who is a seer how he knows people problems and solution to give. He said, he speaks to the spirit of the individual who will tell him secrets and the solution. That as a person, he did not know anything about another individual. But it always comes at a price! Something must give! The devil never gives anything free!

In the past have visited places that I ought not to.Never knew I was adding more problem to my situation.

After I gave my life to christ and I started a welfare pryaer lot of things were reveal to me.
It was God grace that deliver me from bondage which I unknowing use my own hands to bring into my life.

I told someone recently if she knew the cause of all this place she is visiting? She said it because I can pray that why am saying all that. That do I think is easy to stay away from visiting those people she is visiting?

Instead of her getting solution reverse is the case and still yet she is not ready to let go of such demonic set of people.

In addition, Nigeria was a voice to reckon with in the international community. I was privileged to travel to some African countries (East & West Africa) during OBJ's time and was amazed that OBJ was greatly adored by fellow Africans. But for BH which makes Nigeria to make the news in the international community, I doubt if most Africans would have been able to name who our President is. OBJ has his many flaws oo, but abeg he's not in the same class as GEJ. E ma fi walahi we Olorun o.

can someone interpret this dream. It has been giving me a hard time. I dreamt it 1st of january this year.

Bamboo stick.

I saw a bamboo stick that is already cut off for long and suppose to be dried. But start to green and fresh on all it edges. its start to produce new growth on all it body. Like numerous branches about to bring out from all over it. I was confuse while looking at it because bamboo doesn't germinate from it stem just like that.

I thought to my self to put it on soil so that it can germinate properly. I pick up the bamboo and hold it on my palm while looking at it cleanly and then I woke up.

Have just learnt something new today.

For a long time now, I notice that once I tell people my next step of action, I will never be able to achieve it no matter how hard I tried.
Sometime I begin to even question God on why such incidence happen to me.
Now that I decide keep mute on my personal life to people, they start calling me all stuff of names. But who cares?

The worst part of it is that once you update something new on ur bb or whatapp, friends that does not even care of you exist will start asking unnecessary question. Such as what happening? How is life treating you? Where are you working now? Jesus!!!!!! Wetin?
Well, have decide to ignore any of such question.

Unfortunately, the background most of us come from mean that there are forces following us, determined not to see us succeed. Even if people become pastors, there may be a shrine in their village that is following them that eventually has to come and collect its dues.
So, the see of witchcraft may be planted, it will allow you to get into a position of responsibility before germinating, or there are those with clear eyes who know what they are involved in, but hold positions in the church.

It was all these things that made me get tired and for a long time I didn’t go to church. I wasn’t backslidden, I just had enough. As well as fighting the family battles, I didn’t want to go to churh to carry another battle. Even now, I avoid churches where there are Nigerians. I am not self-hating (afterall I am on Nairaland) but there are certain issues I don’t joke with.

Even before all this, I remember I one had a dream that the enemy really faced me and in the spirit, they sent a very stout, hefty army officer to come and face me. It is only years after that I realized that the person sent against me was one of my aunts, who my mother helped to come to the UK. There are many other things I could say.

Another time, I found a lady on facebook that I went to primary school with in Nigeria. In those days, we were attracted to each other but it was very innocent. Anyway, I started emailing her, within few weeks, I was seeing her in the dream organizing wedding with me, with some of my aunties who were into witchcraft. That is how I stopped all contact with her and prayed that the Lord destroy every marriage.

Even now with Europeans, I am starting to be careful what I say and to whom, because I notice that anytime I have something good developing and I tell a particular white person (who I thought was a friend) that thing would be aborted. If I go back and trace it, it is like this person only contacts me when something good is about to happen in my life.

There is so much I could say, but time and space would not permit. I just pray the Lord would restore what the enemy has stolen in Jesus' name.

Where did you do your deliverance?

as an 11 year old boy, i didnt know the implications of that dream and my father did not tell me then neither,he only begged me not to follow my mom anywhere whenever i see her in my dreams. I was really mad at her for leaving me a second time...really sad and mad at her. But years later i knew the meaning of the dream and im thankful she didnt allow me follow her. Yes, i saw her severally in dreams but she kept her distance and won't communicate with me.

I want to use this meduim to advise people to be careful of friends. I know we have heard it several times, but it's never enough! Some friends are monitoring spirits! They will make your life miserable! DON'T eat together with friends! DON'T share things together. Because my next experience will tell you why.

I made a friend in my first year in university. We did everything together. One day I had a dream where a voice told me she was a witch. I ignored it initially, but later confronted her in my naviety. We quarreled and separated. After many years, I saw a vision of my death by car accident. The day it will happen. I went for intensive fasting and prayers, then her spirit spoke out through me! She Never left me all these years! She was a monitoring demon, waiting for the right moment to strike! What of the challenges I have to face? Nothing came easy for me! Whenever it got to my turn, it's another story entirely! After my Intensive deliverance, there were big changes in my life.

I lost my mom when I was 11 years old, it was a very difficult time for my young mind at that time because of the trauma. One day we were told to buy some materials for project in school, I told my dad and he refused to buy it for me, I was really sad. When i went to bed that night, I saw my mom in my dream and I started asking her why she had to leave me, I was so happy to see her and I told her that dad refused to buy the project materials needed in school for me. She told me not to worry and she gave me everything that my dad refused to buy for me. After playing with me and petting me, she told me its time for her to leave ...and thats when the wahala started. I panicked and started to cry, begging her not to leave me again. She told me she has no choice and must leave immediately, that was when I held on to her and wouldn't let her go. By then she was in a hurry to leave, it was like she was late for something and really needed to go immediately. I wouldn't let her go ooo, I just held on to my mama, she pushed and pushed, she struggled to release herself from me all to no avail. When she saw that she couldn't rid herself of me she started going, and I was being dragged along with her. When we got to a fence, she managed to climb the fence with me still clinging on to her. She really did not want me to cross over to the other side of the fence with her, she desperately needed me to let go off her , but I wouldn't budge, so she took the scissors in my hand(the scissors was part of the project materials she gave me) and used it to bruise my hand, immediately, the pain made me loose my grip on her and she quickly used the opportunity to escape to the other side of the fence without me. I started crying, I pained me that she would leave me again...I woke up crying. Fortunately, I was sleeping in my dad's bed just beside him. He heard me crying in my sleep. He was deeply alarmed and he woke me up asking what the matter was. When I narrated the dream to him...o boy, he was really afraid and kept asking me if I am sure I did t cross the fence with her. I assured him that she didn't allow me to. That same day, my dad bought every I asked for...the project materials and many more thlngs. He told me that anything i need, he would buy it for me, that next time I see my mother in the dream, I should not follow her. Lol...I used the opportunity to exploit my dad for a while sha.

Well I REJECT it and pray that the same measure of words and thoughts you gave me, same shall be pressed down, shaken together, poured over you, that it shall permeate into your body like water, into your bones like oil, it will cover you like a garment and be around you like a belt in JESUS Name! Amen!

Let me advise you child what the book of proverb says: NEVER meddle into a matter that does not concern you. The things of the spiritual looks stupid to the physical eyes. Whatever you don't understand, simply LET IT BE!

You are a case wahali! OK, lemme give you a little insight into my baxkground:
I grew up in a home that worshipped the water goddess. A shrine was dedicated to her . My mum did not follow their path, but the seed was already planted. So again boy, don't play word game with me, you got that?

Uhmmm....

Just like some of you suggested, i went on my knees to beg him. I apologised for locking up his shirt and every of my action that might have gotten him upset. Meanwhile, he stopped eating my food and sleeping in our room.

He said he knew my intentions were right but my approach was wrong. I told him that if he had answered my question that night maybe there wouldn't have been need for quarrels.

He apologised for beating me and that he didn't mean to.

Okay! Quarrel settled. I have resolved to do the following:

1. Speak to my pastor to arrange counselling classes for us
2. I will ask him for monthly upkeep and whatever he says becomes the rule for that month.
3. I will never ask him how he spends his salary again.
4. I will start saving on my own (massively)
5. I will ask him for every need in the house, i will assist in meeting the ones he cant meet.


Please chip in one or two things concerning these resolutions of mine.

In as much as I know that I shouldn't have locked his shirt, he shouted on me, we had an heated argument, and it got physical. I am not trying to justify my acts.

I have been supportive of this man even before we got married. Like SapeleDon said, I have brought up discussions several times on how he wants me to help in offsetting his debts. Still, he didnt tell me how much debts he had and who he is owing. I wouldn't have raised an eyebrow if my salary has been paid, but I was saddened by the fact that he collected salary and didnt give me a dime for home upkeep. All he did was to buy the baby's diaper and food. No explanation, no discussion whatsoever. I am a woman that believes in communication so much, that is why I ask questions when I am displeased or unclear about issues. I dont assume and I dont pretend. But I have noticed that anytime we have discussions bordering on finances, it usually ends in quarrel or fight. For how long do I continue this? I am not even saying he should foot bills in the home, I am capable of doing all, just that I am cash strapped at the moment because our salary was delayed. All I needed was an explanation of how he spent his last income that we dont even have a penny in the house, and it has been like calling him to buy baby's food, bring money home from work to source for dinner etc. Even the weekly allowances I get from the office, I use it to organise meals (breakfast and dinner). It is when I don't have that I ask him for money and I all I get is "I don't have money". That got me wondering.

I know that our foundation is shaky, I don't know who to talk to about it, I am tired of boring my elder siblings with my story. My dad is old, I don't want to bother him too. His mum...that is another story for another day; Our pastors...we started attending the church when we got married and I am not sure I can trust my issues with them, I don't want anyone to be discussing my family on the pulpit. I have recommended to him severally that we need to see a marriage counselor, he said we don't need it.

I am dutiful wife and mother, and I believe in supporting my husband in all areas. I even went as far as seeking another job so as to have increased income for the family. Thank God he answered my prayers and I will be resuming in the new place very soon. All I ask for and I am still asking for is for him to let me into his financial life.

Unlike someone commented in this forum whether I have high taste, no I don't. But I do have taste. I can't say that we should go and live in far places like iyana ipaja, alimosho or any other area where rent is cheap when I go to school every evening after work (undergoing my Masters Prog). It is very commonsensical to get a place that has direct access to our places of work and my school.

I don't ask for what I cannot afford. I don't believe in saving when we have a need to be met (that has been my principle, maybe it is time for me to change it). I am not an impulsive buyer. I have only done cloth shopping twice this year (in January and when I resumed from maternity leave cos my size increased). I cant even remember the last time I changed my make up kit. I do my hair once in a month. I can go on and on and on.

If you know any independent marriage counselor we can visit, please I don't mind. I will still try and talk him into it.

What works for okeke might not work for okafor. For me, u wont see shishi under such conditions. The full story will nt be far from the wife earning more than the guy, the guy then develops inferior complex making him over react in certain issues. He then pegs every disagreement they have on dt d wife isnt submissive cos of money. If you are a man- be a man. Dont feel intimidated. Whether u are short, handicap , unemployed etc should make you less of a man.

A colleague in my office had d same issue. Their pastor preached it in the church that the woman shld submit every including salary. The husband saw it as opportunity and demanded dt she submit her money. They opened a joint acnt in another bank and he was sole signatory to the acnt. It was like jazz. She lost her phone and the husband did not replace it for her. She will beg for phone from other staff to call 'honey.'

Her family abandoned her cos anyone dt asks for anything, she wil tell the person ,'Go to the right source' and when they go to 'honey' its one story or the other.

The girl bought a car before the handover things, it was part of the things dt were handed over to the guy. The girl will fly okada to and fro work not minding she was heavily pregnant. 'honey' does not see the importance of bringing his pregnant wife to work.

To crown the story , each time my colleagues sees honey in his place of work ( 'honey is a business man) , they see him playing draft. This thing come dey vex everybody but no one could say it out . Then, one day, this babe came back from mkting and was feeling very weak. She needed to drink malt and was begging for who will buy malt for her. All hell broke loose. It was started by a guy dt hardly talks in the office. Ppl joined the guy and finished the babe . I dont think she would sleep that night cos they really shred

Fast forward,two years later, i dont know how she broke loose from her marital bondage. She bought another car and takes care of herself. She buys things herself, atleast ive seen her buy abacha for herself.

Her bad behavior has been long-standing and I have brought it to her attention several times. She even "promised" almost a year ago to change. Within one week of that promise, she did something horrible I would never have expected from her (an entirely different story) and indignantly used rudeness and disrespect to "defend" herself. Frankly, if I must be honest with myself, she just lacks the ability to behave properly towards me - no respect, no care, no love. The irony is that she is exceedingly respectful, loving and caring of her parents and siblings. She is also generally respectful of elders. I frequently tell her, "you speak to me and act in ways you would never speak to your youngest sibling or to even a stranger on the street, yet this is what you give 'your husband' " . her response is that I should not mention her "family". Indeed, she even says that my mentioning of her family to make that point is "disrespectful" of her family.
