The reputation of Sahara Reporters have really diminished over the years! They started well with good investigative journalism and taking governments/institutions to the cleaners in issues of obvious corrupt practices. However, nowadays, news emanating from them are taken with a pinch of salt as they have proven to be unreliable and inconsistent.

It is better to choose what to publish with correct facts than to make up stories and publish blatant lies without cross checking relevant facts!

General Adebayo was senior to Gowon. It is unfortunate that he, along with the Yoruba nation, just could never stand up to Northerners. Adebayo, as Military Governor of the Western Region did not sleep in Government House because he was scared that he might be killed like Fajuyi. A Yoruba man who could not sleep in his official residence in his own land out of fright of the Northerners!

I feel for you and your sister! Do not encourage her to divorce; the consequences on the young child will be much and it will bring embarrassment to your parents and the guys family as well. Besides, God is against divorce and the society sees divorced ladies/men with the shades of shame.

Going into business in a hurry because of this predicament without conducting due diligence and risk analysis could worsen her woes and cause untold losses. Do not bring your money into it at the moment, seek for peaceful resolution. The husband loved her and she still loves the man as well but the man clearly has a problem and needs help!!

My suggestions
:
1. Prayer works - to repossess back your man and dispossess him from the ladies with whom he cheats on her.

2. Ask Your Sister to confront him with those proofs. She does not need to involve a third party (from the in-laws) as this will damage his reputation and bring back biting against her matrimonial home. Who knows, if any of the in-laws may even have a hand secretly in the man's problem.

3. Your sister should take her husband for a medical test before she can sleep with him or insist on protecting herself with the use of condoms.

4. She must beg your father for forgiveness if needs be! Your father can talk to the man and perhaps restore back his sanity.

Finally, you do not need to be scared of getting married. Avoid the delay and pray believing God. God can never be wrong!! In any of your suitors, if you see anything that you cannot reconcile with as a single lady, please run because when you get married, it may be a thorn in your flesh.

Please, do not allow the prophecies of another person dictate your life for you. Prophecies are meant to build up and encourage not to discourage or cause panic. When I was going to marry, parents said they had bad dreams and people said so many stuffs but I love my wife and I knew from the beginning this is the one God has destined for me. I didn't see their negative dreams in the character or life of my wife and I prayerfully rejected every negative dream or prophecies.

My mum refused to come to our traditional wedding along with most of my siblings who listened to her. To cut the long story short. Next month, we would be married for 7years with 3 wonderful children. We have our own house in London and have travelled more than 10 countries. We are still married and will remain grateful to God for the marriage.

My parents seeing God's blessings in our lives have called to apologise saying it was the devil. Yeah, the devil will stir up strives to hinder a coming blessing when he knows your destiny lies in that union.

Caveat: Please do get married IF YOU ARE CONVINCED the lady is the will of God for you. In my case, I was SURE and GENUINE. My head was clear, my heart was focused on God and my mind was made up. I NEVER slept with my wife until the night after our white wedding. I wish you all the best.

Dear Prettyblaqy, I agree completely Jesus can make whole completely! However, I won't give out in marriage a daughter who is only 3 months old in the Lord! I believe there is so much to teach them to help them grow in their new faith than rushing them into marriage only after 3 months!! Ministers of God need to be wiser. I almost wept in the office, as I see this graphic video!! I have prayed and demanded that those who were there and did nothing to save that boy and the man on white who did all the beating...will experience serious pain that would lead them to Christ.

Wow, well said, I know when I started falling from his presence, that was in my 300level, before then I was fire brand, very strong in the Lord spiritually until my 3rd year when I became an exco, I was the treasurer of my campus fellowship, the position was so tempting, I tampered with God's money kept in my care, I felt bad about it and asked him for forgiveness.
I can say that is where it all started, from that to lust and fornication. But I thank God I've rededicated my life to God and I'm not going back to sin again in Jesus name, Amen

From your dreams about faeces, it smacks of serious witchcraft oppression. You would need to pray against every form of bewitchment troubling your life and destiny. Such bewitchment could cause unnecessary delays in achievement and disappointments at the edge of breakthroughs.

The dream on your marriage is an attack against your settling down in marriage. You would need to break every covenant you have entered into or anyone have entered into on your behalf causing a delay in marriage. Having problems praying at midnight is because of the spirit of fear! Pray with 2 Tim 1 v 7 and reject the spirit of fear out of your life. Better still, anytime you want to pray at midnight, plead the blood of Jesus round about you and your home. One of my then favorite players. We bare the same first name (Peter). I was nicknamed Ogaba in school those days bc of this lad.

I can recall vividly the role the 13yrs old Peter Ogaba played at Canada '87. How would I forget his champaign performance in that semi-final against Italy? He tried his best against a highly gifted Capellini even despite his size then.

He also played U21 at age 15.
He went out of the light just like Philip Osondu, Chris Nwosu, Taiwo Eneguwa, Dimeji Lawal, Lemy Isa and the rest of his Canada '87 class.

That white on Green jersey in that pix was what they used for most of that tourney. Hmmmm memories...

The constancy of the dream show the need for you to pray out yourself from every spirit of setback and retrogression.
However, you should work out your salvation firstly with God i.e. make sure you are born again. It will be a waste of time praying deliverance prayers if you are still living in fornication or sin.

@jollymolly, I really feel your pain! It is quite disheartening you have to pass through all these in a young marriage. You have a great sense of respect for your marriage and I can see you still want it to succeed despite the hurts. You deserve better! However, I will advice that you do not do anything stupid. Two wrongs will not make a right and cheating on your husband at this time, will violate your conscience and will taint your character with guilt. The pride of fidelity will be wiped off and till you die, you will always look back to wish it never happened. You will always remember you took a wrong step during this storm and the scars may never be wiped off.

Please, be patient at this time. Tolerate him. Cut the ties with your ex and with wisdom also cut ties with your cheating friend.

It is not do me , I do you, if not I would have done that over a year ago. He pushed me to a point where I decided to talk to my ex since he has that listening ear and cos we remain mutual friends after I got married. He is somehow separated with the wife cos the lady doesn't want to live in Nigeria and he doesn't want to leave his work and join them.My husband is so insensitive after I caught him that I feel he is even angry with me for catching him.When I bring up a discussion, he just talk like am forcing him to and face his laptop or phone. From a far you will think that I am the one that cheated and am trying to make things right with him.Does he deserve to be cheated on? Absolutely. @hotterthanfire, I and my wife just discovered last week that she is pregnant. Our second and last child will be seven months old next week!!


This crisis is real not only for women, but for men as well. The added financial and emotional responsibilities of another child require adjustment for the entire family. My wife wanted to feel bad just like you (we are based in the UK) but I reminded her, that some blessings come so suddenly when you never expected them.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE that Love and joy are waiting for us at the other end (after 9 months) especially if you have ever prayed that the will of God be done in your life. Surprise pregnancy may be a surprise to you but no child is a surprise to God.

David - the son of Jesse, was the last of his fathers children. He said, I was sharpen in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm 51 v 5). This may also mean that, he was an unwanted child who later became the Prophet King and the sweet Psalmist of Israel. I speak prophetically by the grace of God; this Child is anointed and is a child of promise. Rejoice & Be Glad!!
