Pls house my es 350 2010 model is giving me small problems, the car will always jerk and will not select gear properly when ever i use it to go far place. Like from lagos to shagamu it will start jerking and it will not accelerate well, unless i off the engine and start it , it will start working well after a long distance it will start again. People keep talking about resale value, and I am yet to understand the concept. When you buy what everyone else is buying, you'll sell it quickly. Find out what you like in a car a d buy the car. I bet you, if you buy a car you truly love, you'd be less inclined to sell it. Some Peugeot owners here will not sell, even of you made them a high offer.

I bought my BMW 525i on this forum but I haven't been enjoying that car as I expected.

Issue is 1. Battery drains and car wouldn't start if left for 24hrs of recent. Now sef I have to drive it in a day to get it started next day. Diagnostic scan picked 4 fault DME...Head not coded correctly appear on dashboard.

2. Full lights doesn't on per say...only one bulb on and fog lights. Mechanics here in Ibadan have proven to be incompetent.

Even considering of sell the car sef cuz I hate stress. Please help. I could share the diagnostic reports with you if you don't mind. Thank you. @Gazuzz

So after I took your advice a dealer is trying to convince me to go for the LE trim instead of the SE. His major reason is the ground clearance. However, I checked online and saw the 2 have the same ground clearance on paper: 6.1 inch. Please what's your opinion? Then are there other issues that one may encounter with the SE trim over the the LE option? Thanks.

I've been following this thread but I rarely comment.
Pls I need clarity on two issues. I use a 2004 4 cylinder Toyota Camry (2AZ-FE engine) with a manual transmission. My car vibrates mildly on idle but vibrates seriously when I put on my AC or when I'm about to move from a static position (gear one) with or without AC. My mechanic examined it and told me two engine seat are bad and said it cost 25k (per one) for a genuine one. How true is this??

Secondly, when on highway speed my transmission slips on gear five as a result, anytime I'm driving and I'm on gear five, I usually hold it with my hand to avoid slipping. My mechanic told me there is no solution that the transmission has gone bad so I will have to replace the transmission of the car. I don't know if this is true .

for (1)- It is Electronic power steering, so it eliminates the need for power steering fluid

(2)- A lot of things can cause this. Is your check engine light on?
