Joseph Jon: Who said GEJ does not have the political will to quell Boko Haram? He has all it takes to bring the situation under control but he is making sluggish consultations which to me is giving the sinister group the time to build up. My advise to him is that he should go ahead and arrest whomever he thinks is a security threat in this country and heaven will not fall.No body has monopoly to shedding and spilling of blood in this country. I fail to understand why boko haram just re-surfaced to the scene immediately it was clear GEJ is winning the elections.
Since after the elections it has been harvest of bombardment every corner of Nigeria. I think the unity of this nation is under grave threats and the onerous call to defend and maintain the unity of this nation should not be applied when it involve the south easterners. What is the Nigerian army doing? The police is a weak organization and i fear the provision of APC personnel won't help the situation. Let Nigeria army intervern and stop this evil menace before Nigeria is destroyed by this Bokos and Harams. Our policemen are only good in taken 50 Naira on the roads of this country. Another place where our police performs well is in the area of killing innocent people in Onitsha, Enugu,Owerri and APO areas of Abudja. There's no doubting the fact that GEJ is too weak to bring such dangerous situations under control. |

buzugee: america is overrated. the place sucks. spent 8 (3 years in the nineties and 5 years in the 2000s) years of my life in that sodom and gommorah. in that babylon. and i aint never going back. it was an adventure. a heck of an adventure, but i am done with the place. i have never seen so many angry and desperate people within a square mile as i have in america. couple that with the fact that they all got guns and its a volcano that erupts very often. a volcano of rage, anger, racism, politics, religion, class-ism, depravation and misery. not a place to raise kids You seem to hate the US so much. Many Nigerians would not share your view. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Chinese Officials Looted $120bn Public Funds In 13 Years - Report by Gbenge77(m): 3:22pm On Jun 18, 2011 |
GenBuhari: $123bn in 13years = $9.46bn per year on average
That is $9.46 bn each year by 18,000 Government officials that equates to $526,000 per official per year
The officials all flee the country as China has death penalty for embezzlement
Now compare to Nigeria where an individual like OBJ stole more than $123bn in just 8years yet he is still walking freely around and even has audacity to make regular speeches chatting nonsense Were he to be in a serious country, the likes of Obj would be launguishing in jail right now. |
