1stGenAmerican: Sunday soccer sounds like fun. I love to play but unfortunately I suck at it. The heat is one thing but you no longer have to fret about Hurricane season and endless rain. Lucky you. It's in the evening. It starts around 6pm to 8pm and usually someone hosts dinner. It's indeed a nice gathering always. |

1stGenAmerican: You’ve moved, I didn’t know! Do you miss H Town and was adjusting from Texas to Nevada easy? The only things I miss about H Town is my church and the many Nigerian stoees around. The challenge at first was the heat but I'm getting used to it. The cost of living is a little bigger and living closer to the strip, there are too many homeless people. In H Town, there weren't fun activities but here, there is a gathering of Nigerians who play soccer every Sunday evening. |

1stGenAmerican: Good question, Gboyega. Besides the casinos there’s a host of tourist attractions inside and outside the casinos and inside and outside the city limits. There’s Lake Mead, Lake Las Vegas, amusement parks, helicopter rides over to the Grand Canyon or over the Hoover Dam, pool parties, nightclubs, desert tours, water sports, tours, so many concerts to fit any musical taste, Vegas style shows, shopping, and don’t forget FOOD. If you enjoy an endless variety of good food then Las Vegas is a place to put on your list. Guessing since I moved down here, haven't seen anything so fascinating however, I'm beginning to like it more than H Town despite having more Nigerians than we do in LV. |

kingreign: You’re right, it’s very common upgrade on most track day cars for hobbyist and those who do street races both in US and Japan.
It’s a very common upgrade for the VQ35DE powered nissan/Infiniti cars due to their oil burning nature. Does it mean I could ask my mechanic or can it be done during general servicing? |

Why do we want to eat or cakes and have them. We promote sexual immorality before marriage and expect it to stop in marriage, do we think it is going to be that easy? |

paschal47: Is that iru I'm seeing in the soup?
If yes, is there any change in taste?
Secondly, for you staying abroad, what did you use as thickener? Oats? Yes, some different taste since ogili Igbo smells/taste differently from iru. For thickener, I tried corn starch. I may resolve back to what I used for the oha I made. It wasn't cocoyam however, it looked like cocoyam and I got it from a Philippino store. Would take a picture of it. I'm guessing another option might be to buy cocoyam powder. |

abiolamitodun: Did u skip where I said "for the main"time?...and also "if".. And to me I think mother's alone can't take care of a child (single mothe) so think the child should have a touch of the father...that's what am trying to say...from his response it's possible he might not see the child again or probably the child might end up growing without morals He should take care of the child whenever the child is in his custody. He made the child and not the sister. He should make arrangements with the mother on visitation rights since the relationship seems to be heading for the rock. |

Family › Re: Im Tired! How Can I Make Him See I Truly Love Him, Despite His Height??? by GboyegaD(m): 3:19am On Jun 20, 2022 |
You need to be sure he isn't insecure because of his height before you commit because if he's mentioning it consistently, he would keep bringing it up. Let him know you need him to love himself first as that will reflect on you and how well you will love him.
On the part of him listening to what people are saying, you need have an extensive discussion on it. You need define the relationship because it is childish to make decisions based on external forces who have no stake in your relationship. |
