African stores - na try your luck to shop for real native ingredients.

I used scent leaves, bitter leaves, and utazi leaves. I got them dry from an African Store (Wazobia) near me.

Do not listen to those advice that say you should delete the pictures. It might make things get worse and then you are left to your fate.

Ask him in a polite way why he is saving the pictures. Have a polite discussion and he should be able to delete it if his intentions are good.

Like a poster said above, some have taken to drinking even before they got married which is their own way of life.

No one is perfect however, most of the people I know are enjoying their marriage perhaps because we share similar thought patterns.

The only advice I have is that people should discuss their expectations in marriage and be sure both parties are in sync. That way, there are no surprises.

I guess the only thing I missed about being single is the ability to jump about like a headless chicken. I remember telling my wife I can't stay at home all day during weekends cos that is what I have been used to. Now, it is difficult for me to go out as I enjoy family time which I can't explain in full. The interesting thing is we also have our personal lives as such, we are not in each other's face all the time.

Congratulations. Glad you are working towards your childhood goals despite the challenges. I shared a similar passion but I'm back in the industry after my PhD. I didn't find research so interesting unlike my few years in industry before graduate school.

Respect is reciprocal. If you want to be respected by your wife, then respect her and treat her as human.

How much is Chicken lap na? Oga, a bag of chicken laps that has about 8 to 10 pieces is less than N3k equivalent black market rate.

The recipe to make the money is just work and fed like every other person.

It all depends on what you want to be and why. In my case, I knew what I wanted and achieved it although the journey was a bit longer than it should be.
