Difference is that in south Africa it's too blown out of proportion... Same way crime is

Germany, France, Ukraine, Italy all had loadsheding past winter but no much was said about it.

Just like Capetown crime is way worse than in Johannesburg but somehow people tend to think joburg is worse. Again even in world cities no south african city is in top 50
Germany didn't have load shedding. The only reason they may even have load shedding in 2024 is because they are so much invested in this electric vehicles thing.

ANC is poking the Western Nations like Zim tried.
Prepare to be bitten when you poke the snake.
Instead of focusing on what ails your country - you're overreaching to big wars in Ukraine and getting used by Russia & china.
Again look at brilliant Bob of Zim - turned Africa breadbasket with very brilliant folks - into a basket case.
ANC are going to mess your country and trust me the world will move on like nothing happened.
Like nobody cared for apertheid nearly 100yrs.

Stop being misused by Russia & China - you're small potato that was already on cross-hair for harrasing boers

Now when EU & US turn into both overt and covert sabotage of South Africa economy and gov - you'll cry.

Just ONE EU or US sanction on South Africa - will see such capital flight - your economy will CRUSH.

And ANC is pretty close to getting one - it will just be US president sanction - or EU parliament sanction - tears will flow down in the south.

China and Russia will be unable to help.
I hate to agree with you on this, but this is the sad truth. Besides, there are more American and UK investments in South Africa than from Russia, China, or India.

But it is very unfortunate. South africa is a developed state comparing to other Africa state , I can't remember the last time light went off in Ghana .
Well, you have to do something quickly this June in Ghana else half of your supply would be cut due to the deals signed by Mahama then. The Government would have to restructure that 1.4 Billion dollars debt or pay at least 400 million dollars from it.

Benin Republic is truly our 37th state. We block borders, it affects them the most. We remove fuel subsidy, same thing.

Itskpe to Abuja should be put on hold...
The highest priority should be the east west rail. Then ibadan to Abuja via the ilorin minna route.
After Lagos Ibadan, highest traffic is on this routes.
The east west should cover, Ota, ore, Benin, asaba, onitcha, nnwi, owerri, aba then PH (this is the second biggest corridor and arguably the most profitable more than Lagos to ibadan). This should be the next priority not the kano - Abuja (but politics and nepotism).

I wonder who proposed PH to Meduigury. It should be put on hold for now.
I think Lagos to Kano was said to be the most profitable route in Nigeria in terms of trade.

according to plan, it'll be Ibadan to Ilorin, then Ilorin to Minna before getting to Abuja. They're building it in stages. But since we have a new government, we don't know if they'll have a different plan or continue with the previous one.

I thought itakpe to Abuja is under construction na, abi? FG talked about it's construction some time ago, it would link warri with Abuja since itakpe-warri line has already been rehabilitated.
Tinubu in his inaugural speech had said when it comes to infrastructure, he wants to continue from where Buhari stopped.
On Itakpe to Abuja, they announced it some months ago, but can't find anything on it since then.

the construction, as I predicted, will be very fast cos they have solid flat ground and less Barriers (underground cables, pipes, etc).
To me, Ibadan to Abuja should be considered. That would create lots of economic benefits.
Also, Itakpe to Abuja.

CNG is cheaper
A lot of companies are already using it for their generator

But if people start turning to cng massively demand will exceed supply. Even if people start building Cng plants, it will be difficult to get gas
We have more in terms of gas though and the Bonny Island is becoming more and more accessible.

I wouldn’t be surprised much of Kenya is already owned directly or indirectly by Europeans abroad and the local elite euro minority class. It’s pretty sad. Kenya is increasingly everybodies colony but the Kenyans who don’t seem to care to much. Kenya is like a cheap prostitute to the westerners, Israelis, Arabs, Indians, Chinese etc.
Kenyans love foreigners generally. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing.
It is good because it has enabled them allow foreigners settle to attract some kind of investment like Mpesa, good broadband connectivity, etc very much like in Southern Africa.
It can also be disadvantageous because of what you pointed out, but this can be controlled by the Government.

Christainity is not about morality...if u dont believe u burn...even if u do more good to the world ..if u kill 50 million people and at the last hour u ask for forgiveness and cry your eye to the lord thee God...u go to heaven...and if u lie to save you mother, wife, child and 50 million others ..you burn in hell grin grin grin...
That's not what christianity is but what fanatics want to believe.
Unfortunately fanatics in christianity are much.

Doesn't this sound absurd to you? That's like me trying to follow in the teachings of Muhammad without ever touching the Qur'an.

It should matter because he send his own Son down here on earth and while here, he clearly outlined what it would take to receive eternal salvation. If it's a question of morality that has to be judged based on the written word and it's Impossible for him as an atheist to do this without referring to scripture.

Very simple. Belief+Deeds.
Again, what is the main teaching of christ and what does christ want from me?

They'll suffer condemnation for their deeds while he would suffer condemnation for his non-belief plus his deeds. As I pointed out you cannot live a Christlike life if you don't believe in objective morality. Doesn't work like that.
You are mixing things up.
His worldview has no basis for Morality is different from saying he doesn't have morality. If he has morality (however borrowed from religious philosophy) why should it then matter again to God, as long as he practices morality?

What is a christlike life and why can't rvp2018 live a Christlike life better than you and I without even reading the bible?

Saddamochieng00:
You do understand that they're Christians who'll suffer eternal condemnation too, right? I believe you're familiar with Christian scripture and understand what it takes to enter heaven.

Another thing is his worldview doesn't have any objective morality so how are you going to classify his deeds as either evil or good.
My point exactly. Are those Christians going to suffer eternal condemnation based on their deeds or simply based on what they believed only?

His worldview doesn't have morality agreed, but he has morality right? so why does it matter?

He doesn't have to fear anything if he's right and life is ultimately meaningless. I'm only asking if he ever questions what happens in the event he was wrong?
The contradiction here is: Why should God being who we say he is (benevolent, powerful) throw rvp2018 into eternal condemnation because of his wrong worldview and not necessarily because of his deeds?
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by GeneralDae: 7:06am On Jun 05, 2023
Saddamochieng00:
I never said that. Go back and understand. I only wanted to know if he banks on his worldview to be correct in the end because he doesn't seem to pay too much mind to this question.
Why should that particular worldview be so important that he should fear for eternal condemnation?
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by GeneralDae: 6:50am On Jun 05, 2023
Saddamochieng00:
That's interesting. Aren't you worried sometimes of what the repurcussions might be if your worldview was wrong. On my side I don't have to worry because if I was wrong then I wouldn't have to face eternal condemnation. grin
Why should he face eternal condemnation because he doesn't believe in religion?
This your thinking was expoused previously in the 19th century by the philosopher Paschal (I believe).

generally speaking, the subsidy is no longer going as planned. Oil marketers are exploiting the scheme so bad, unlike how it used to be prior the 2000s.

We never can tell if it would be sustainable assuming the marketers aren't overly overcharging.

We have public institutions across sectors that are over-subsidized sef, education and health is subsidized across states but oil subsidy payment is affecting the sectors at federal level.
What if states control their VAT's and subsidize anything they want depending on their situation?

that's quite rude to believers.... Learn to respect everyone's choice.

I'm also not a believer, but I would never say such.
It's even irrelevant to my point in the first place and using the word God doesn't equate automatically to what many think is God.
