solomonkane: Abuja and PH are Lagos wannabes, their so called "swagger" is cheap and tawdry compared to Lasgidi.
You obviously havent travelled. better keep mute. Calabar and enugu are more beautiful than PH.

joyblinks: If you no like Abuja, na 2 things go cos am either

1. You no get money or
2. You no get people to Mingle with.

Abuja and Calabar are Nigerian abroad.
Am a PH babe, I love my state wella but I think ABJ comes first...mehn with the right people and some cool money in ur poket, Ur going to love it.

Aba. The least city if u ask me
Akure. Beautiy without brains.
Owerri. Try for cleanliness.
Enugu. The last time I was there was 2006 and honestly, that place was a village but with the whole hypng, I guess I need to take anoda look.
Benin - nothing to talk about.
Delta- Advanced Aba.
You might have been to only one part of Enugu. the city is big. it also has slums.eg Abakpa Nike and Coal camp. Visit Trans ekulu, Independence layout, New Independence layout/Maryland and Upper Chime avenue new heaven. you go like enugu. i miss my chool days.

Your comment is sharp.

I swear na boko haram dey worry dis cities dem bam too o
Someone viewing your post knows without doubt that you are a yoruba boy. sorry if you say Enugu is over hyped. there is no city in yoruba land that matches enugu in terms of development except lagos. Even PH no reach Enugu. and these are my area. I have been to your Akure which you said is fast growing. Owerri is even better than akure. ask una people why dem no dey build better houses. you tend to preserve 16th century houses as monuments. dont even make mention of ado-ekiti. chai...

coolsamba: Uyo, because of d beauty, lifestyle and their ladies(hot)
small but quiet city. the best/sweetest food i ever ate in my life was in a hotel in Akwa ibom. I must find that hotel and request for that delicacy again.

1ndidi2: My stay @ekiti was awful! Talk about booooooring! Chineke! Kai,even as I remember my days there, the taught makes me yaaaawn!
Everyone says thesame thing about Ekiti kete. My one year youth service in ekiti is the most boring year of my life. i cant still forget it. i must confess most yoruba towns are sleepy, even akure in ondo state.

afam4eva: Enugu - For it's tranquility, cleanliness and orderliness.
Enugu: i just love Enugu for cleanliness and good roads. i grew up and schooled there. kudos to Chime, he is the best governor Enugu has had in the past 20 years.

ABA: business is good in Aba. ABA has alot of fine girls but people do not know. I visit Aba sometimes weekly. dent is bad roads.

Calabar: the best place in Nigeria to spend your christmas holidays is calabar. i dont wish to miss this years christmas carnival. Obudu, Tinapa; cant forget the boat ride, Eusene stadium and many other cool spots i cant remember their names in calabar.

Owerri: Fine city and nightlife which i only hear in stories. i dont wanna witness it for reasons best known to me.

PH: where the big money lies. but i just hate traffic hold-ups on the road.

Lagos: noisy place. unarguably the financial/commercial capital.

afam4eva: How's it senseless? American music rules the world.
naija music rules the world. even blacks in US appreciate naija music. it has lyrical content. i dont feel black american music anymore since the exit of the likes Tupac and Biggie.

i feel R kelly but he isnt forth coming anymore. i still feel american music only on the gospel segment. Michael W smith, Donnie Mc Clurkin, Kirk Franklin keep it real.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Women Are Like Crabs In A Bucket by GeneralGaricks: 12:16pm On Nov 19, 2012
*Kails*:
@topic: I honestly haven't the slightest idea why some women are so petty and crabby.
I can only assume that it is a result of low self esteem mixed with the usual changes in hormones. tongue We women are emotional creatures and if you add that characteristic with feeling as though everyone is out to get you or you are inadequate in some way, the it's easy to understand why some are like that.

I see myself as one of a kind (which is partly why you don't see an (f) by my name) tongue.
I don't have a problem helping out other women, giving them advice, complimenting them; etc cetera, but I find the same women I may advise or console, turn a blinds eye when I am in need of some comfort. This "better that b-tch than me" attitude is prevalent in the female psyche - ugh! tongue. This is why 90 percent of my "road dogs" (friends) are MALE! cool

Some women act as if being kind to one another is taboo. tongue You may have what they feel to be a "better shape" and they'd hate you for it. Might be pleasant and lovable and they'd claim you "think you're all that" grin; etc. Next thing you know they'd make you an enemy just because of their insecurities. It's all about competition...which often times is ONLY IN THEIR MINDS.

I've given up on women and this "sisterhood alliance" long ago. tongue
Women are quick to receive but hardly give generally speaking - with the exception of me of course! cheesy
kails my man. how farhuh dont give me that friend thing now. i cant be friends with a lady.

Revolva: A woman can't assist her fellow girlfriends to grow in sense of advise and for friends sake - even dash her fellow gals some money - they too get inferiority complex and that's killing most of them and our naija gals are the worst sets - woman no dey ever plan to build house all they want is at the moment but the brokest male have a dream to build a house or buy a ride - make ur research
You are very right. Most women dont dream. All they want is momentary happiness which fades.

I once told a working class lady who is a close relative to me to buy a car for herself. She said no, ''my husband will buy me a car when i marry''. How do you now talk of building house huh Thank God for her, the husband has bought her a car.

But the worst case would even be a woman that works at cross purposes with her husband.

jaidor: I am throwing this question out to all the love gurus or love doctors in the hood....

There is a girl in my sch (a uni) which I so much desire, but have'nt talk with her for once...cos the oppurtunity has'nt show up yet. I've only been seeing around 1nce in a while. n she is soo pretty dat every guy wants her.

Maybe I shud add that there are 2yrs academic intervals btw us...n i am d senior

I won't mind if can get some perfect 'Lines' that'll melt her heart.
Which school is that so that i will know what will suit your request?

There will always be a wonderful girl in skul even during my own time. She was the one after me but i had no single liver.

Christianity EtcRe: Is Your Income Being Investigated By Your Pastor? by GeneralGaricks: 1:15pm On Nov 18, 2012
When you press me unduely for money, i get offended. One guy tried that with me, i told him point blank, ''stop calling me, am not owing you''. I only made a promise i will fulfill at my convenience.

Isnt it the bible that says '' God loves a cheerful giver ''? Fake pastors make people give under compulsion. Its weird.

EducationRe: Free Tertiary Education Kicks-Off In Imo State by GeneralGaricks: 11:34am On Nov 17, 2012
Joeblis: Make una think with una brain...the money will not be given to the student cash, them go pay the fees
You are not wise in this area. When a bank grants you a loan for your business, it places restrictions on your withdrawals to ensure that you do not divert that money to other purposes.

That is why the students are handed cheques that should be made payable to the school. They will receive the balance in cash after the fees have been deducted. The state expects you to repay that balance after landing a good job as a graduate.
