Rip to the dead.

Returning to Nigeria after years of absence made me realise that every day one survives in Nigeria is a miracle.

The roads in Nigeria are crimes against humanity, freeways merge and become single lane without notice. Drivers in Nigeria have no clue how to overtake carefully, drivers just attempt dangerous maneuvers and then start flashing their headlights at oncoming traffic to give way while overtaking.

Our licensing system is a failure, our road maintenance is a disgrace and we are surely heading towards destruction.

I strongly believe you're part of the "indomie generation", if not you should understand that these things are lesser now, bank robbery use to be more rampant, now it's very rare.

however, cybercrimes are now trending.

I am 32 years old. I grew up in Onitsha , I can categorically say that violent crime is on the rise.

Back in the day, it was only armed robbery. These days there's terrorism, kidnappings, political thuggery , more violent cult killings etc

Nigeria is a country sitting on gunpowder. The number of unemployed young people is enough to raise concern but everybody in Nigeria pretends like everything is alright with this country .

In the next 10 years as population increases and our leaders refuse to plan for the future , we all are doomed. These crimes that the common man experiences will eventually become rampant too in gated areas of the super rich.

Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bharaine, Saudi Arabia and UAE are extremely rich Muslim countries that can afford to eliminate poverty from among world's poor Muslims of Nigeria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Bangladesh, Rhoyinga, and Yemen.

But they rather fund terrorism to create more death and poverty than economic empowerment.

Globally, Christian countries are always leading in charities because Christianity is founded on LOVE for God and Humanity. Muslim nations should wake up.

God gave humans life. Every human is special no matter their sin. God said for ALL have come short of the glory of God. Salvation is a personal race.

Why is your heart filled with hate? Jesus said love your neighbour as you love yourself. He didn't say love your straight neighbor. Love was his central message.

Why is our survival important to us and nature if the universe is just a cold brutal fact?

Why then do humans inherent strive to live as long as possible and have offspring to continue the survival race from one generation to another?

My point is that it seems like there is some bigger picture here that a naturalistic and materialistic worldview is refusing to ponder about.

If life is just is. Then I argue that consciousness is an evolutionary disadvantage. Do animals ponder about existence or God?

Existential depression is peculiar to humans as long as we know. So even though yes consciousness has it's advantages, existential crisis is big enough to consider it a huge disadvantage.

Religion has caused too many upheavals. The attack on me is minor but it has proved to be one upheaval too many for the renegade religionists. Many have paid the supreme price. They were killed by religionists in their prime. I am just a lucky person to escape death. It is hard to argue to the contrary that religious people have caused unwanton death and destruction.

However, my question is do really that if the world had no religion, there will be an end to all wars and human oppression?

Surely even you can see, that human beings have a propensity for immense violence and cruelty as a result of our fallen nature (if you are religious) or evolution (if you are nonreligious)

Because the universe doesn't understand if anything is dead or alive.

The universe has always obeyed the law of conservation of energy even before we became cautious of life and before the word "life" was coined and there nothing we can do to change that.

The purpose of your existence and any other thing is simply to store energy and recyle them. At the quantum level, every atom is the same, that's what the universe understands.

Still doesn't answer the question of the purpose? If we evolved to contemplate these things surely there must be some method to this madness called the universe?
