Based on my experience in the hustle, I'd share one tip here.

One of the best times to cash out on the hustle is the first week of every month...the week after salary has been paid. Every day, for about two weeks straight, you'd make a good amount, but the peak is usually the first few days and the very first weekend (Friday, Saturday, and the 1st Sunday of the month). Activities begin to go down gradually, because people are probably exhausting their cash and need to manage, person wey dey jump bus, go go back to bus, less outings and dinner dates and all of that, less hang-outs and waka waka.


Takes experience to figure this out, positioning and strategy is key.

Has anyone used GT to top up indrive? . I have been unable to fund the acct, saying widget failed...... This their top up is really frustrating....

GT is Okay for Indrive top up,. Add your card details to the app and then you re good to go whenever you want to pay your outstanding. I use my GT card on indrive app anytime I want to pay commission.

The failed widget could sometimes be your internet connection

Fortunately I got request back to Lagos festac from ikorodu before I dropped cake. My dashboard is big and extra change from offline but what of d bad road ? If I continue like dis, this week and post dashboard everybody go say dis hustle dey pay. But I won’t tell you, me n car don pass thru ikorodu.

I got a similar trip like that too last weekend from Cadogan estate, Osapa London to Meiran to and fro on Bolt. We decided to go offline for 20k, The kind suffer wey I suffer that day no be small thing, Traffic and Bad road showed me pepper. But atlast when I finally got the Bar, it obliterated the pain I went through.

In a nutshell I would say Suffer now Smile later

My rating fell badly below 4.4 and i was blocked by BOLT for a day

what i had to do is to politely remind my riders to kindly rate me 5 star at the end of each trip, it worked like magic, my rating went up to 4.95 within a week, i am currently at a rating of 4.97

I guess most of the riders forget to rate drivers or they just don't care......lol

I can't remember the last time I begged for rating

My attitude, personality and my car commands 5 star rating.

Sometimes driving your own car is not always what is crack up to be .... My advice is to learn to drive for others by getting the experience .. If you can maintain a rental car than it is a good start.....

People don't realize the expenses that comes with this job .. The maintenance and looking for good mechanics that know their onions.. The downtime that you will face.. A single repair can eat up all your profits in two weeks in 1 day .. Or even bankrupt you

And if you are driving for yourself and you don't have the discipline and experience to manage all these challenges you will end up broke up. Driving for yourself is an advantage but it is not an automatic win. You need discipline.......

I know a driver on rental that thought he knew it all . He got his own car and drove for God knows how long . And back on rental again switching from 1 model car to another.. Now back to his own car .....so it takes experience and discipline to drive on ur own.......

so my one week block will end tomorrow,

it has been a very rough week i must say,but i still thank God.

my 1st blocking was for low acceptance rate,the other was for low star rating.

And as you all know, i have just one life line left which is one month blocking.

i just started this hustle last month n i av already been blocked twice.
both of which are out of ignorance if you ask me.
