As a lady, you should know this.

What about the men's picture i post? Do they also do make-up? Or do you want me to show you beautiful rural Nigerians, children or make-up free photos of Nigerians? All you would have done is ask, rather than becoming lousy.

one reason which i find very sad to note is Africa (post colonial rule) never seriously charted and pursued it own cultural identify, inspite of ample opportunities, without the pride of ownership in ones own African centric religion, way of life , culture , script , literature etc it is difficult to inspire future generations of Africans.

no offense but Africans left their own way of life, culture and their religion and adopted others culture and religion more or less.

and u all want to become giants in the world SMH . people divided among themselves can never provide the foundation for a strong culture/country/continent/race etc .

lack of common ground / mutual interest in terms of religion / culture / language / way of life etc and importantly solidarity brotherhood and pride of ownership r the biggest hurdles that faces present and future generations of africa.

You made some good sense with your comment buh you spoke as jf Africa was colonized as one politicak entity like India, naaah, we weren't each country had to chart it's course differently and that is why you see some African countries are more progressive than others unlike India that was a single political entity and is progressing uniformly.

Heck, some african countries have retained their cultures so much, other haven't, some use the native languages officially, others don't, some use their own native writing scripts, others don't, some practice their own native religions and others don't.

Our different political histories have shaped us differently.
There are African countries that are far better and more developed than India, there are those that are far worse than India. There are those with a more promising future than India and there are those without.

My arguement is not that we go back to the pre colonial times but that we advance on the aspects of our cultures that can be carried into this era. I am not saying we shouldn't be modern but that we be modern in our own way.
For example, the Chinese were the first to produce gun powder, but the problem with the Chinese was that they were not quick to interrract with the outside world. The west learned to spread out, they learnt from not just Chinese and Indians but also the Persian Islamic empire and then modified it with their own. Today they rule the world.

Exactly. N this gunpowder used by westerners changed everything forever n placed them on top of the world.
