Ceremonial keh.
It is ceremonial buh also terrible at the same time. The thing is that some of the potential grooms do equip themselves with spiritual powers to be able to withstand the pain. The floggers themselves r aware of this, so they also use their own spiritual powers to make the flogging more painful.

Most fulanis r now muslims n have abandoned that culture. Only a few still practice it.

Holly Even most Nigerians do not wear the bogus cultural attires walking on the streets. We wear them to social/formal gatherings alone mostly.
We haven't also promoted these attires as such to foreigners. We r gradually doing that

I really donno d population of Kibera buh slums r irregular settlements which happen to be very densely populated. So it's very common for slums to be highly populated compared to their smaller sizes.

If i show u the modern parts of Ibadan, the first sky scrapper in Africa was built in Ibadan. Ibadan is the largest city in west Africa or even the entire Africa if am not mistaken. So, a very large part of it is modern.

~~~There r old sections of other african cities (north africa especially) that look as terrible as the old sections of Ibadan. They can never be classified as slums, cos they were never built as slums n were very beautiful in the times of their prime.
I can show you pictures of these old Ibadan houses many decades ago in their prime n you will be wowed. Can you show me beautiful pictures of Mathare or Kibera in their prime?
