***Southern kaduna land may look poor, buh the people are not predominantly poor. That is the point. They are getting more enlightened and leaving poverty compared to core-northerners. That is what we are really saying. Many southern rural areas also look very underdeveloped like those in the north, buh the people from those places are not that poor.

----Most of those families you see in those mud houses in southern kaduna villages are trainning university students/graduates. It's just that many of them don't go back to their villages to build new houses.
I am not blaming anyone, just trying to clarify facts and set them straight.

I don't think southern kd is beta than northern kd in terms of literacy ND poverty rates. The poor women I see every morning inside Abu Zaria sweeping ND cleaning r frm both sides. Maybe Nowenuse shud visits some villages there like CBN is doing to help Dem annihilate poverty Totally

The last time I checked, they r more jamb applicants from Kano compare to Jos ND Benue during d just concluded jamb reg.

Naaah, they secured northern interests. Northerners dominate the miliatary n civil services in Nigeria till date, courtesy to them. The problem is with the culture of the northerners (core-northern muslims especially), who despise western education n hence failed to develop themselves. Sectors like media, economy n others are largely private driven, hence the southerners being more individually developed than northerners have to dominate them.

****Oh yes of course, Southern kd is better than northern kd in literacy n poverty rates. As poor as southern kd villages may be, it is almost impossible for you to find a child, teenager or youth that does not go to school or is an illiterate. Can you say the same for northern kd people? You cannot underestimate the power of literacy. Their people are rapidly coming out of poverty n developing themselves. If you doubt this, visit any southern kd village during christmas n see the beautiful, educated, well-living people you will find, who all came back home to celebrate the festivity with their parents n grandparents back the in the village.

##### As for the hastag, we seem to use northern muslims for backwardness, cos core-northern muslims constitute a far larger percentage of northern muslims (like 75%), buh we mostly use 'core-north' if you are sincere. We may use middlebelt for success cos some of the middlebelt muslims are also almost as progressive as the middlebelt christians n cannot be left out.

Holly Kano more than Benue? That can never happen. Let me go n bring the list here. Kano may be more than Plateau cos they have far more indigenes than Plateau. So, to be on fair grounds, you should compare Plateau with Katsina or other core-northern states.

Naaah, nowenuse is right. My friend confirmed it. Nafada should belong to fulanis n some minority ethnic groups. Truly they are mostly muslims, and all answer islamic names only, so it becomes difficult to differentiate them.

Those are not everyday Nigerians.Most don't wear fine clothes and congregate in upmarket locales -the everyday Nigerian lives in Jos ,Ikorodu ,Awka and Maiduguri doing some form of trade or small business and without fine clothing.

Holly all Nigerians participate in social events irrespective of their socio-economic status. The poor Nigerians you see, don't try them when it comes to appearing in their traditional clothes.
