Using the money of people of Rivers state to do father Christmas in far away Sokoto state is the highest form of madness. Do you know how many youth that 500 million naira can empower? I served in Rivers state and I knew the students were always absent from the schools for days doing menial jobs to raise all sorts of money being demanded by the schools' principals. In other words, a poverty ravaged state like Rivers state has no business donating 500 million naira to another state.
