sweetmelanin: I see my husband more like a brother than a lover. We laugh, crack jokes and hold similar world views. BUT theres no sexual chemistry. I find it difficult to get aroused by him. There is a deep sense of unfulfillment and unhappiness. I wonder how long I can cope with a marriage without passion. encourage ur hobby to go to the gym |

You should send your parents a text message telling them the truth, Let them know you tried your best to please them but life happened, look for a job or learn a skill, you need to start making money to take good care of yourself, they will be furious but they cannot kill you. If you survive this phase of your life, you‘ll go very far in life.
NB, being there, done that. |

Troubledmind: We have been having issues lately and she called me on Sunday that i should visit her at home so we could straighten things out, i told her I'd not be able to make it because i had an appointment later in the day, she said ok and kissed me on the phone before hanging up, later on in the day my appointment got cancelled so i decided to surprise her,
I visited her and knocked on the door, she opened up and the look on her face is nothing but disappointment, she was wearing something raunchy, exposing her full bursts and laps but i behaved like i didn't notice it, she offered me a seat and before we could finish exchanging pleasantries, her phone rang, and she was like its my friend David he's outside, i behaved like a gentleman and showed no sign of jealousy, David came in and sat opposite me, she didn't bother introducing us, and when i gave her the look she was like David meet my bae and bae meet my sweetheart david,
I was confused, she then started behaving like I'm her close friend not her lover, she'd chat more with David but ignore me all by myself, she'd tease David and sit beside him on the sofa while i sit miles apart, the last straw that broke the camel's back was when he jokingly placed his hands on her exposed lap, and she behaved like its some sort of joke. I'm not one to fight a fellow guy for a lady so i just stood up, shook the guy and announced my departure, i left the room before she could say a word.
She followed me outside, asking why I'm being immature by embarrassing her in front of her classmate and esteemed guest, that she's tired of my clinginess, i asked her why didn't she introduce me as her boyfriend? Then she smartly fired back, what is bae? Was it not bae i called you? I just shook my head and left, now my friends have been seeing her around town with the pretty boy, why are nigerian girls this wicked, this is a girl who tried to have sex with me but i refused because i love her beyond sexual pleasure and i respect her as well, this pretty boy just wanna get in her pants but she's too naive to notice. Sapphire86: I woke up that certain Wednesday feeling ‘oh, the day has finally come’. I was still running up and down doing last minute packing, attending to a dozen issues while trying to remember a dozen more still undone. I am not one for last minute rush, but this time was different – delays here and there with the visa and ticket both finally coming through less than 48 hours before departure.
I called for an Uber (while silently praying for safe arrival to the airport because I have been hearing stories about Uber & Taxify drivers lately) and 30 minutes later (even though the app said 11 mins) I was on my way to the airport. Traffic was terrible; this was the first journey-to-the-airport traffic I have ever experienced, and it got to a point that I was like ‘ah, ah, have my village people followed me to the airport?’ Finally, we reach the airport though I was a bit pissed with the Uber driver because 1., he deliberately took a longer route with traffic when we started the journey (maybe he wanted my trip fare to be deliberately high) and 2., he didn’t know any shortcuts! We were just stuck in traffic; one thing about commercial bus drivers is that they would always find another way when they sight traffic ahead except if there is truly no way out. But this Uber driver just sat there because even if we got to the airport 3 hours later, it really wasn’t his concern!
Got to the airport an hour plus later and then it hit me that I was back at the Nigerian Airport! First, it was the policemen unnecessarily hailing me before I realized that they wanted me to part with money; then it was unknown personality who came, held my bag & ‘offered’ to help me carry it. I’m like ‘emm, no, thank you’ and in my mind, I’m like ‘my hands don’t look broken; I ain’t parting with no naira, dollar or even cent’. I thought ‘oh, the harassment has ended’ forgetting that I was STILL at the Nigerian airport.
I did my check-in and made my way to immigration and it was there I was reminded that I was still in Nigeria. First immigration officer was nice but wanted a tip and in my mind I’m like ‘why should I give you money because I am travelling; don’t you know how much dollar is?’ The second immigration officer was where the issue was. He checks my passport because it’s a new passport and sees no stamp, immediately starts harassing me (it was a new passport but not my first time travelling). Then he goes ‘let me just stamp for you because if I send you down there, they will harass you, but you MUST give me something’. Now, the difference between the first & second immigration officer was that the first asked nicely for a tip, this one flat out demanded a BRIBE. Is there a law that says new passport holders cannot travel? How will the passport stop being new if it is not used in travelling out? Well, since I didn’t ‘tip’ the first officer though he asked nicely, I refused to BRIBE him. True to his word, he sent me and my passport down to the association-of-immigration-officers corner thinking he has dealt with me. The lady he sent my passport to asked me for my visa, checked with my passport, asked for my travel allowance and when she saw I was legit, she gave me my passport and asked me to go and get stamped. As I left, my eyes and that of the second immigration officer met and he could see my victory stare and smile.
.... to be continued i read your story, it was interesting but you didnt tell us if you had sexz with the white guy u talked about that was always looking at you or with any other guy in dubai. just curious |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Common Job Interview Mistakes To Avoid by Gettreadyy(m): 9:29am On May 19, 2018 |
24hoursreporter: I am sure you don’t need a soothsayer to know that the Labour market is very competitive. This is due the number of unemployed graduates out there. However, sometimes you get relief when you receive an interview invitation. But it is really disappointing when the whole process is not successful. Sometimes, job seekers unconsciously ruined their own interview because of certain mistakes. Therefore, this article will educate our readers on the 7 common job interview mistakes to avoid.
Ordinarily, when a candidate is invited for an interview, he/she is one step ahead of getting the job. But one innocent mistake can change everything. I remember how I failed my first interview woefully. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t want any job seeker to have similar experience. This is why we have come up with this write up on 7 common job interview mistakes to avoid.
List of 7 Common job Interview Mistakes To Avoid
Below are the 7 common job interview mistakes to avoid. Your next interview will land you your dream job, if you avoid these mistakes.
Dressing Shabbily Your dressing code is an important factor recruiters consider while interviewing candidates. Though you have to dress in accordance with the position you are applying for, but try to be formal and professional. Your worst mistake is to wear an informal dressing to an interview. It will make you look unkempt and lost your confident.
Late Arrival The easiest way to ruin your interview is to arrive late. Lateness is definitely a good way to piss your interviewers. Try as much as possible to be punctual in any interview as it is the you are creating about yourself. As a matter of fact, when you are late for an interview, it is an indication that you are not serious. This is definitely the first step in failing your interview.
Showing Off
Showing off is among the common job interview mistakes to avoid. No matter how qualified and smart you are, try to keep cool and remain humble. Priding yourself too high is an indication that you won’t take instruction. Actually, you don’t need to show yourself before an interview knows that you are good. So, the more prideful you are, the more the interview tries to get you out of the link. And no organization certainly want to work with pride people. You see! always keep it cool.
Presenting False Resume Facts This is another area where most job interview candidates are thrown out of the race. What job seekers fail to understand is that recruiters will always outsmart their moves. This is why they will present to you a form to fill all the details in your resume. Guess what? if there is a slight variation from what you presented on your CV, Boom! you are out the game.
Using Phone During an Interview I mean no disrespect, but some interview candidates are really funny. Some of them actually use their phones while the interview is going on. This is a pure indication of indiscipline, lack of devotion to work and above all lack of diligent. Therefore, if you really need that job, don’t answer any call. In fact, activate your phone on silent mode until you leave the interview venue.
Talking Too Much Try as much as possible to talk less. In fact, go straight to the point and stop bugging your interviewer with unnecessary details. The downside of talking too much in an interview is that you end up spoiling the nice things you said earlier with controversial statements. Just give a straight answer without details except you are required to do otherwise.
Lack of Passion Recruiters need people who are very passionate about the job. So, try to be very passionate and eager during the interview. You may be considered based on this. No employer will want to engage a staff that is clearly not passionate about the job.
These are the common job interview mistakes to avoid in your next interview. These mistakes have caused many people their chances of getting juicy offers after getting so close. Don’t fall victim to these mistakes, watch out for them in your next interview.
