GenBuhari: Stop panicking you are not going to die - its a hoaxok sir. could u do me a favor? pay a visit to any of the ebola treatment centers unprotected to tell them its all a hoax. but kindly drive yourself thereafter, directly to Gwoza or sambisa preferably, while avoiding contact with anybody except probably , policemen collecting bribes on highway or any jobless military officer harrasing harmless civilian. thanks in aadvance. |
GenBuhari: Ebola is a hoaxPls call one of the numbers above ASAP. Nairalanders pls beware, the quoted dude is already infected, although his own is more of psychological than physical. The dude is already showing symptoms of ebola-psychosis. Same naive and I-sabi-pass-my-neighbor mentality Nigerians had on this ebola scourge prior to its entry into the country, which made us not to have taken adequate precautionery measures. dont know why ITK too bokuu for naija like this. eveeyone is a conspiracy theorist |
UchihaMadara: Was just wondering if this could actually happen, I mean we claim to be practicing democracy, but it seems that only those from the principle tribe in a state are elected Governor for that particular state.Yea, its absolutely possible. when the word TRIBALISM has being expunged from naija dictionary, that time we can have governors and other political office holders of another tribe calling the shots. Having the first lady from another tribe(esp the major groups), for now poses much threat to one's political career, how much more the main man. if for instance, I, as an ibo man with a yoruba wife want to contest for governorship seat in my state, or me that yoruba man with an anambra woman as my wife vying for governorship position in my state , how much support do you think I can garner from my people without their usual "stranger as a wife" sentiment? lets start from their first. |
oluwasegunfummi: The tribal denigration on the political section is now alarming, personally I rarely engage in a tribal e-war, its either am telling the truth about my region or am trying to curtail the tribal excesses of other nairalanders. To my yoruba brothers, am pleading with you to stop exhibiting the tribal part of you, to my ibo neighbours, stealth your sword. Let's join hands together and move nigeria forward, the only way we can achieve this is when we expose the mediocrity of our govt, post the pictures and let them know your plights. To the E-warriors, tribal denigration should stop............eko o ni baje oooooounfortunately, I can't agree with you more. YOU LOT NEED TO STOP THIS RUBBISH. You people are subconsiously creating a derogatory orientation about other tribes, which subsequently would model an irreparable image about the people of that tribe, at least to the outsiders. You people are threading the same path our leaders we condemn everyday dredged for us before they died the likes of Awolowo, Ojukwu et al. They invented this TRIBALISM in one way or the other, instead of us to be that generation of change, we have decided to re-innovate their schemes. You want this to stop OP, deactivate your account and use your normal account to create a thread pleading wih your fellow compatriots from both side of the divide to sheath their sword. Its high time you people realized this online game you may think you're playing is an avenue to breed what's worse than EBOLA AND INSURGENCY combined. what we read online, forms part of our intuition. Our younger ones are reading all this rubbish and, believe me its going to give them a poor SENSE OF JUDGEMENT. for now, our parents are this reactionary due to what their parents told them back then about the people from that other tribe, even when we have millions of great people from the same tribe. You take a yoruba guy home and your parent object to your union cos of their orientation about yoruba being backstabbers, even when in all their years of existense they have never experienced such a fallacy. You take an Ibo guy home, the next reaction you see is that of a stern disapproval cos of one yeye agelong notion they have about the ibo folks, meanwhile they dont have first-hand experience on that. You cant rule this out injob placement as well. You people have continued where they left off. How much image laundering do you think could be done in the future to correct this wrong impression you people are creating. Your Children are the one that would also suffer it. remember, no man is an island. thanks. |
Yea I agree with the "sane" you. DISCLAIMER!!!! |
seunlayi: if this happens to be true, the Man will win 2015 presidential election if he contesthmmm what are you insinuating? that he deserves to be considered for presidency, at least to have taken the well-being of his fellow Nigerians to heart. the guy would definitely be an Hero if he comes off wih it. |
did you just say the Resident Doctors sacked GEJ? pardon me I have comprehension problem. nor be the doctors suppose sack am? These people are agitating for their right for goodness sake MR PRESIDENT, why don't you consider their plight also. by the way, how many workers would this man eventually sack since almost all naija workforce dey down tools day in day out. someone really needs to be |
MzJackBaueress: Politics section has finally gone to the dogs. Virtually all the threads in this section are filled with Igbo-Yoruba feud and personal attacks. No meaningful topics to discuss about.pls can I buy you a drink? glad to see someone who shares same sentiment. |
Abagworo: Often times these two groups complement each other and are never dull or lazy. While Igbos are acclaimed traders from the hawking to the bulk import/export, so are the Yorubas service providers from petty mechanic to offshore equipment installers. As a result of this, the two groups usually play symbiotic relationship in business. In Port-Harcourt you can board a taxi driven by Yoruba to Igbo spare parts and then go back to another Yoruba for the car repairs. It almost revolves that way in most things. Contracts for wiring and cable installation in most companies are done by Yorubas while the cables and gadgets are supplied by Igbos.

Kalvan1000: I'm showing the beauty of Anambra. I'm glad you know you're a fool. Are u kidding me? 2005 pictures? on 2014 thread? Did you realize those pix up there were actually meant to depict the state of development before and during Obi's administration.

ZKOSOSO: In the present scheme of things in Nigeria, I think its time to start taking stock of some sections of the country as regards what they contribute to the ecomonic growth of the nation.OP as no man is an island, also, no region is useless in the socioeconomic development of our great nation. However, there are varying degree of impacts per region.

chino24: I can bet my 1m that Omisore will win today. Clown there is no airstrip in oshogbo, so we were chino24: I have a good news for you guys..I have never seen such an hypocritical set of dunderheads like these set o f people. bunch of empty barrels. now that he's being embarrased with figures he's trying so hard on diversionary techniques ( shifting the main discourse to their rusted roof as if its any of your heffing biz). by the way, why are you people concerned about election in yolobar states?were u not the same set of squirrels rattling on those threads back then during anambra's election, asking the Yolobar' s business about election in anambra. So much hypocrisy with you people. Even going to the extent of claiming to be who he isn't all to prove a point. I like how the south westerners are civil on this thread. if the reverse were to be the case, this whole thread would have been filled with tantrums and vituperations. |
How safe are LAGOSIANS? considering the population and inter-relationship with all and sundry. I am afraid if its now an epidemic ( God forbid) in Lagos , the easiest and seamless way of being infected would be through the public means of transportation. Danfos and BRTS. Considering the high mobility in lagos. GOD heal our LAND |
Could this be the worst plague on mankind? so swift is its resultant transition to beyond that the victim may not have the luxury of being given a fair chance. GOD PLEASE HEAL OUR LAND. |

crackhaus: What does this have to do with aborting (directly or indirectly) a pregnancyThose are the matured mind that could have come here to share the story on how they aborted pregnancy(ies) before- I guess thats what she was trying to say.... At least, thats the only relationship to the op's question. OP,you sef. you sabi ask questions ooo. An irrelevant one at that. what are you expecting? peeps coming here in droves to share how we murdered naija 2moro's leaders. Yes I have. on how I felt afterwards, I felt I had helped d country by saving her from bringing to earth another future corrupt leader. Is your curiosity satisfied now. in an unrelated development : Naija peeps be like " Nothing dey happen jor" when in reality, no-one displays much cowardice in almost all things like them. Whenever I have an interview and I seek for a time off from my boss he used to decline so I pull a fast one on him today. See below the message I sent to him this morning and his subsequent reply. Good day sir, This is Lawrence's mum. We're presently in d hospital, he was vomiting blood all through the night as well as stooling and non-stop cough. 35 minutes later my oga replied. Excerpt below. "He should take all the time he needs. Infact I think he should use that opportunity to go on his overdue annual leave." 1 hour later another sms came in. "Has he been diagnosed? What did the doctor say ma, is he complaining of chest pain and loss of appetite as well? " The fear of ebola now in naija is d beginning of ........ |
Did u snap them? any evidence? by the way, are you among those peeps that do peep into one's wimdow while passing by, op? (Gosh! I hate those peeps). how sure are you that the man wasn't his dad, he could have come around briefly for all we know. also what if its actually another woman and not your friend's mum(maybe an acquaintance who wanted to use thr house for a quickie, yea i know its lame but we cant still rule out several possibilities)since u dont have evidence to back it up. in another development. PDP chairman? Bamanga? ehn ehn... wow. Who then is Aliyu? |
And you termed that impunity? in Gej's voice, Nigerians are very funny, just ordinary order restoration they would call it impunity. Students and that aggressive spirit called Aluta. it keeps causing them more pain than they could ever imagine. I'm sure the bank must have pasted a notice at the bank entrance to that effect, but given that gra-gra spirit known with students , they would have disregarded the information and called it bluff. Imagine some demanding reasons for early closure. Don't they have the right to review their opening and closing period again at will? Of course I understand its inhumane to have suddenly changed the time given d fact some people would have sojourned long distance for an urgent transaction, but A humble plea would have sufficed. Anyone who passed through the 4 walls of any public tertiary institution in Nigeria could imagine how the drama would have played out before the bank could go the length of inviting law enforcement officer to calm down the situation. toh OP , sorry oooo. |
byrron: What is funny in that clip? You didn't get it! not funny as in wittingly funny but funny for his clownish character. obviously, the guy is so dull. its apparent they write the scripts he plays for him. someone who claim to have bombed the commercial epicentre of Nigeria and could mistaken the state government for that of Edo. by the way, why haven't we heard anything from our armed forces as to the real identity of this man. if they could feed us with the lie that he had been killed, how come they haven't cleared the wave on why his "ghost" is terrorizing our nation. |
bokoslayer: Shekau missed his calling. Had he taken to comedy, he would have been up there with dem Alibaba and Basketmouth. lol@ bringbackourarmy. Shekau funny die lolI swear that guy get comic lines ehn. he's supposed to be one of the highest paid comedians in naija. |

Good! while they are at it they should do likewise for my buddy that I just lost to the cold hands of death 3 weeks ago. I would like to know why the veterinary doctor didn't show up immediately he was called to come and examine why Aston was lying helpless on the floor. |
LaRoyalHighness: This op has a point. ... However, our tradition is important but I detest the bride price and long list given to the man. I thank God for the man that I married... because that list the gave him can even make someone to run away. I bless God for him as he has already decreed that our son's in law won't be given any list .Dear Ma, I hereby apply for the role of your son-in-law. I am a graduate of priceless primary school.
