Shut down permanently? Did they give any reason for that?

So they have stopped face to face appointment at IOM until further notice
My test date is July 27th wanted to reschedule

I don’t even have my CAS yet because the text is required. Can I still make it for September?

Monday Tuesday is public holiday and I intend to use statement from my bank( banking hall) and I don’t want to wait till Wednesday next week

Thanks but I didn’t have a ban. I was only concerned with CAS and not even the visa as it has been said here a lot of times that most schools don’t issue CAS for previous refusals.

I would say - ALWAYS ALWAYS declare any bans on your application even if they are expired.

They prefer for you to be honest. If you don’t include it and it comes up in their assessment of your case, they’ll regard it as you attempting to misrepresent yourself for a favourable outcome.

The same happened to my husband in 2018 - they said he didn’t address the ban and they refused him.

So in his spouse visa application this year we outlined all his refusals and his ban in his application- we then wrote a separate statement to address the ban and apologise for wasting UKVI resources and time - we explained that it was out of ignorance and assured them it would never happen again and that he has changed.

His spouse Visa application was approved yesterday.

It pays to be honest.

It was a visiting visa and the reason for refusal was absence / inadequate documentation from my school( my undergraduate studies as at that time) They stated that it didn’t look like I had the mind to return back to Nigeria as I didn’t provide enough substantial letters from my school (Not the exact words used)
I am just a little worried tho it has nothing to do with fake documents.

Was your refusal based on student visa or what? Refusal of 12 years ago shouldn't affect your chances as it is assessed on merit of your current situation except you submitted fake or unsubstantiated documents

So I read somewhere that UK embassy will only hold onto your records for 10 years. After that time frame they don’t have access to that anymore. Is this true?

You guys are scaring me with this CAS issue. My visa refusal was 12 years ago. I just feel it’s been a long time and such information might not be needed.

Does it raise a red flag if your spouse( husband) is not applying and traveling with you but our child will be traveling with me?
We are still married. Not separated nor divorced.
I have one dependent( our child)
What documents will I need apart from the signed consent form by both of us

I intend to include the following
1. His passport bio data page
2. His birth certificate
3. Family picture including our child
4. Documents from her school to show more relationship
5. Her birth certificate of course
6. Her old international passport as a child.

Are these too much or not necessary?
Please kindly help out with exact documents.

It’s easier to get a sponsorship as a BMS than public health. That course is just some fancy name. Wanted to go for it but did my research on it.

Hmm...Heard this too, infact someone quoted me a while ago discouraging me from going for public health, and they stated exactly that too, not too many opportunities in that area, a family friend in UK also said that too. So I decided to focus my search on biomedical science for January/February intake.

Why public health? I wouldn’t advise you to do that course. Some people that did their masters in public health are already thinking of doing another masters as the job opportunities are not really it.
Just an advice. Please let me know your future goals and why public health. I wouldn’t want you to make same mistakes like my course mates.

Yes, I got a refund but they all took out a fee for administration and it was painful, took time as well.
The whole process was draining to be honest but I thank God it ended in praise.

For people trying to book for TB test in Lagos ,if you don’t have any Proof of urgency which could include your CAS or letter from your employer you might be booked for July no matter how early you go.
You can always reschedule when your cas is out or any proof of urgency.

Unfortunately I can’t give out the details because the guy wants to keep his job. Please talk to some banker and offer them something they will push it.

Have you been to the the Centre in Ikeja.People get there as early as 5:30 and they said they did theirs same day.I am going to use the same method on Friday. That’s what the security guy told me to do.
