Questionable journalists Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo finally apologizes for calling Igbo women all sorts of unprinted names. It would be recalled that Kemi-Olunloyo described Igbo women,on her Facebook post dated 6 May,as least educated, having house girl mentality and street prostitutes, which prompted Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook CEO to order for her ban for 30 but later reduced to 3 days after much pleading from "aunty Kemi" herself. This led to a series of accusations and counter-accusations from both men and women of Igbo tribe including Yorubas. However,it appears the much notorious "aunty Kemi" has realized her mistake and resolved to mend her ways and allowed peace to rain. Read her Letter of Apology APOLOGY TO ALL IGBO WOMEN After being initially banned for 30 days on Facebook, Zuck reduced it to 3 days as I'm a FB pioneer and veteran creator. You flagged me for saying Igbo girls are less educated and Igbo female mentors like Oby, Ngozi and Linda should step up their game mentoring them teaching them how they actually made their fortune. I have mentored one youth yearly since US/Canada days. Donald Eke, Nnamdi (Official Nano)and Uche are all bloggers I mentored. Blessing Okoro is a successful businesswoman who runs a relationship outfit in Enugu and her own Instagram show. Kingsley Chinedu Otalor (Wealthofficial1)is my upcoming artist I'm launching alongside my son after Quarantine period ends. I go to Port Harcourt prison to distribute money and food to the IPOB boys who are innocent stuck behind bars. I have done my part with Igbo youth. I promise as from today I will no longer talk about empowering Igbo female youth. My # KemitalksWomen series in anticipation of 2023 will stop here. To all young females in Nigeria, I thought I could reach out to young women to stop being people's servants and end prostitution, they turned it to Yoruba vs Igbo attacking me. I don't like to be referred to as Yoruba, rather a Nigerian the reason why the Nigerian-American named me # IyaNaira ®in 1995 in the USA . Special thanks to Mercy Eke and Azuka Ogujuiba for supporting my work financially and being there God Bless the Igbo nation. MAY YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. Dr Kemi Olunloyo I hope our Igbo women and men would accept her apology this time around. To err is human,to forgive is divine.

The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has said the federal government denied the Kano State government N15billion to fight COVID-19 because the latter prioritized his quest for money over preliminary proactive engagement to overcome the disease in the state. The Special Adviser made the revelation on Thursday morning as he responded to questions on the program ‘As E Dey Hot’ on Wazobia FM, Kano. Adesina explained:”The federal government assisted Lagos State with N10 billion only because it was satisfied the government of Lagos started on the right footing, rolling out proper plans and mobilizing its fund to fight the pandemic.” He said “Lagos state was only scouting for technical, manpower and facility supports, not financial support”, adding that the “Buhari government felt obliged to lend a financial hand not because it was asked to, but because it was convinced it should.” According to Daily Independent, Adesina revealed that all the governors directly asking for money at the start of their COVID-19 crisis may not get it, saying that was why the president sent technical support to Kano State which the government felt was what the state needed most at the material time. It was not clear from his response if the federal government will eventually grant Kano State’s request for financial support which was alleged to be in the region of N15 billion.

We’ve agreed to use patients from Nigeria for clinical trial of coronavirus vaccine, says PTF. Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Monday admitted that Nigeria has signified interest to be part of global trial test of the vaccines developed for the treatment of coronavirus. Nigeria has informed the World Health Organisation (WHO) that it wants to be part of the global solidarity trial of the medicines being tried to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking at the daily press briefing of the PTF in Abuja, both the National Coordinator of PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu and the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said Nigeria would be part of the global trial and its patients would be used for the clinical trials. The national coordinator said the manufacturers of the product had reached out to Nigeria from the United States to be part of the test. Dr. Aliyu said: “We have also expressed interest in being involved in Oxford trial of the vaccine and we have been reached by the manufacturer of Remdesivir; which is the new drug the US provided, to see whether we can look at using it for our patients. We are looking at that from a clinical trial perspective.” Also, the Health Minister said: “We have indicated interest to the World Health Organisation to be part of the global solidarity trial of medicines being tried to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic and efforts are on to also conduct research here in Nigeria. “Other drugs can be added to the trials based on emerging evidence. In all this, we shall ensure the maintenance of ethical standards and safety of our people. “I wish to recognise our healthcare workers who are at the frontlines, for your commitment and to reiterate the importance of maintaining high personal safety standards and infection prevention and control protocols at your workplace. This not only protects you but your family. We shall ensure more personal protective equipment for you and urge you to ensure its judicious use.” The WHO Country Representatives, Fiona Brakar, said the COVID-19 vaccine would probably be available between 12 and 18 months to the date the virus was reported by China, saying that first vaccine trial started as early as 60 days after the genetic sequencing information from the virus was shared by China. With about 89 products currently under vaccine production, with the accelerated efforts, and an expedited process, she said the first product might be available 12 to 18 months. She said: “Research in going on globally, to study the genetics, of the virus and by styling the genetics of the virus, this helps us to develop a vaccine. Thanks to rapid sharing of genetic sequencing data from countries, we are able to advance the production of the vaccine. We do acknowledge the contributions of countries in sharing their genetic sequencing data, including Nigeria. “The first vaccine trial started as early as 60 days after the genetic sequencing information from the virus was shared by China. And we have about 89 products that are currently under vaccine production. The number keeps getting updated because there is an accelerated process going on globally to try and found a vaccine.”

Bing Liu, 37, a researcher for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine who was on the verge of discovering the cure to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has been killed. There are speculations that he was killed to prevent the cure of Coronavirus from being discovered. This is the reason why some believe that Coronavirus is invented to control the population of the world and the death of Liu suggests it could be true. Every attempt to make a reliable medicine that will counter Coronavirus always meet a dead end. This Researcher was killed so that his cure for Coronavirus will never become a reality You can also recall how the World Health Organization have vehemently refused to endorse Madagascar's COVID-19 organic herbal medicine and also refused to carry out clinical trials on the herbal medicine. People are also accusing the organization of harbouring a sinister motive which many people are yet to understand. Liu was at the forefront of those aiming to produce a cure for Coronavirus and now his young life have been cut short abruptly without any trace of his killers. The late scientist was found dead in Ross Township, north of Pittsburgh, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said. He was shot at the neck and head. It was obvious he was shot in a way that he will never survive because his killers didn't want to give him a second chance to complete the project of Coronavirus cure he was working on. It is shocking that as soon as Bing's body was found an hour later Hào GU, 46, was found dead inside a car less than a mile away. The motive to the death of the two is not known but police believes that their deaths are connected. He was at the verge of finding a permanent cure for Coronavirus before his young life was terminated. It is now obvious that certain people do not want Coronavirus to end. People are asking who will continue the project without meeting the same fate. There is a hidden truth behind the mystery of Coronavirus. A deep secret, and we all a swimming in the pool of uncertainty.

Coronavirus Latest: Italian Scientists Announce Discovery of the World’s First COVID-19 Vaccine. The race is on among researchers to develop coronavirus vaccines as the deadly disease shows no signs of stopping.Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said that it would take at least a year and a half to have a vaccine for coronavirus. But usually, a vaccine takes about five to 15 years to come to the market, according to Jon Andrus, an adjunct professor of global vaccinology and vaccine policy at the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University. According to the sources, a team of Italian scientists made an announcement regarding the successful development of a vaccine which has capacity to contain coronavirus and any of it’s mutations. One company based in Rome claimed on Tuesday (May 5, 2020) they have found the antibodies that neutralised the coronavirus in human cells, not just in lab mice. The company is currently working hard for a vaccine coming from Italian research, with an all-Italian and innovative technology, tested in Italy, which will be made available for everyone once testing is completed.Italy claims this vaccine works on humans and will prove extremely effective in this battle against COVID-19.

Bill Gates offered House of Reps $10m bribe for speedy passage of compulsory vaccine bill – CUPP alleges The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), on Monday, alleged that it has intercepted a human intelligence report that the Nigeria House of Representatives leadership was poised to forcefully pass the compulsory vaccine bill without subjecting it to the traditions of legislative proceedings. In a statement issued and signed by the spokesperson of the opposition political parties, Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and sent to DAILY POST in Abuja on Monday, the body urged lawmakers in the lower chamber to rise against impunity. The body in the statement alleged that a sum of $10 million was offered by the American Computer Czar, Bill Gates for influence the speedy passage of the bill without recourse to legislative public hearing, a the development they averted as anachronistic, adding that the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila should be impeached if he forces the bill on members. The statement read: “Opposition Coalition (CUPP) has intercepted very credible intelligence and hereby alerts Nigerians of plans by the leadership of the House of Representatives led by Femi Gbajabiamila to forcefully and without adherence to the rules of lawmaking to pass the Control of Infectious Diseases Bill 2020 otherwise known as the Compulsory Vaccination Bill which is proposing a compulsory vaccination of all Nigerians even when the vaccines have not been discovered. “This intelligence is coupled with the information of the alleged receipt, from sources outside the country but very interested in the Bill, of the sum of $10 million by the sponsors and promoters of the Bill to distribute among lawmakers to ensure a smooth passage of the Bill. “This will manifest in a wishy-washy public hearing which the promoters still insist on cancelling under the pretext of containment of the spread of the coronavirus. The intelligence is that the House will under whatever guise pass the Bill tomorrow 5th May, 2020 upon resumption. “The Nigeria opposition rejects the Bill and urges opposition lawmakers in the House of Representatives to confront the Speaker of the House with these facts tomorrow at plenary and resist every plan to illegally pass the Bill. We have been informed that the alleged deal on the passage of the Bill was struck during a trip to Austria a few months back while the financial support for the promotion of the Bill was allegedly received last week to mobilize for a push leading to the hurried attempt to pass the Bill by any means necessary. “Nigerians are reminded that at present, there is no discovered/approved vaccine anywhere in the world and one now begins to wonder why the hurry to pass a Bill for a compulsory vaccine when there is none. “What if the world eventually does not find a vaccine or cure for coronavirus just like it has not found a cure for HIV AIDS? What is the hurry in passing a Bill based on speculation or is there anything else the leadership of the House would want to tell Nigerians? Is this bill what will stop the mass deaths and infections rising in Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Gombe, Borno, Kaduna, Ogun, Bauchi and indeed all over the country? “Is this Bill going to revive and grow the economy and reduce hunger and give us more testing kits or bed spaces? Is this Bill going to stop the stealing of palliatives meant for poor and vulnerable Nigerians? Is it true that all these noises for the Bill is all for the alleged $10 million? “The leadership of the House needs to start speaking now on why the hurry when there are a lot of urgent Bills to be passed which are not being attended to. “Where is the Bill to make the wearing of face masks compulsory now that the Federal Government has against all wisdom insisted on easing the lockdown and the people have trooped out already without obeying the health regulations that will make them safe? “Where are the economic revival Bills to protect jobs and vulnerable Nigerian workers whose livelihoods are threatened daily by this pandemic? Where are the Bills to compel the Federal Government to look inwards and encourage emergency research for the manufacture of essentials like test kits, ventilators, Personal Protective Equipment, vaccines, drugs, masks, sanitizers etc “All opposition lawmakers should prove they are not part of the evil or partakers of the financial inducement and confront Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila to come clean. “Let all parliamentary rules be dropped and opposition members should turn the House upside down using their parliamentary privileges if that is what it takes to stop this foreign-sponsored Bill. “Why make a law for a vaccine that has not been discovered? Does it mean that Femi Gbajabiamila and the promoters have an idea of the vaccine and when it will be ready? When nations like Madagascar are making local remedies which is working, APC is making a law to compulsorily inject Nigerians with vaccines our former slave masters have not yet discovered. “The plan to push the passing of the bill is evil. “The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC did not make any contributions to the drafting of the Bill and has even told Femi Gbajabiamila to suspend the Bill as the timing is very wrong but Mr. Gbajabiamila believes he can secure the silence and acquiescence of the NCDC with all the illegal powers been provided for the NCDC in the Bill hence he still wants to push ahead with it the passage. “Like we told the Federal Government before, do not bring Chinese doctors, shut our external borders, do not ease the lockdown, do not relax Kano lockdown and they refused to heed to wise counsel preferring to play myopic politics with the lives of Nigerians, today the community transmission is getting worse and it has almost been confirmed that the so called strange deaths in Kano of hundreds of citizens is a result of the COVID-19. “We are saying loudly again and calling on House of Representatives to suspend this Control of Infectious Diseases Bill and await for proper input and scrutiny after the pandemic and charge all efforts towards giving the needed support to reduce the spread and find a homegrown solution.”

The Aro people or the people of Arochukwu on Facebook have shared a photo of basket full of water. A basket full of water is a cultural gimmick that portrays that there is nothing absolutely impossible. It has got many people taking and questioning how that it is even possible. What people do not know is that, in ancient times even in the contemporary, some towns in Igbo land would always showcase what they were made of. For instance, till today, Umunoha people put a pot of water on a roaring fire and the water will never be boiled even if they put it on top of hell fire. In certain villages, like the Arochukwu people, certain festivals warrant displaying a manifold of cultural gimmicks to wow the visitors. In so doing, you would go back to your community and tell them that this so village is powerful. This above development will make some have respect for your community and cast an appellation of fear in them.

Ganduje said the delay in testing suspected cases was responsible for the exploding number of infections in the state. Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, says the state is in trouble due to the presence of Coronavirus. Speaking on Sunday at the presentation of a COVID-19 Mobile Testing Centre donated by the Dangote Foundation to the state, Ganduje said the delay in testing suspected cases was responsible for the exploding number of infections in the state. According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, the governor said the absence of functional testing centres in the state worsened its situation amid the pandemic. Ganduje said, “There is no doubt that Kano is in trouble. And there is no doubt that we started on a shaky foundation. When samples were taken to Abuja for seven hours and came back again in seven hours, that was the shaky foundation I am talking about. “We then lodged our complaint to President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered the establishment of a testing centre at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, which after take-off was shut down for some days if not weeks. That was what escalated the transmission of the disease up to community transmission. “But with the coming back of the AKTH Testing Centre and the addition of Bayero University, Kano, that has the capacity of testing about 200 samples per day now, with the coming of Dangote Mobile Testing Centre of 400 samples capacity, we are making headway in facing the crisis squarely.” Also present at the event, the Director-General of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, was quoted to have said, “I just want the people of Kano to understand that we have not left you. We are behind you hundred per cent. “I want to assure you that by the time we hear from the findings of Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo’s team from the Presidential Task Force for the days they have been here, we will have more solutions that we will use in solving the problems from Kano.” According to the NCDC as of the time of filing this report, 313 Coronavirus infections have been reported in the state.

For over three weeks now, there has been many reported strange deaths in Kano state . This caused a lot of fear in the country and kano state in particular. As part of the measures to fight of Covid-19 in the country, the leader of presidential force committee on Covid-19, at the command of president Buhari , went to Kano state with a team of staffs to discover the cause of the strange deaths in the state. On Sunday 3 may 2020, the leader of the presidential task force committee on Covid-19 , Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo said that corona virus pandemic is the cause of the mysterious deaths recorded in kano state. According to Gwarzo, “Let me inform us that, most of the deaths recorded of recent and test carried out showed that coronavirus is the cause. So before the final reports which would be ready in the next one week or few days, it is necessary for people of Kano to wake up from their slumber that this is a serious issue. This is indeed a sign of the poor health sector condition in the state , which has failed to discover the cause of the deaths at the initial time .Now many people may be at risk of being infected. It is a sad thing that we are in a country where our leaders prefer flying abroad for medical treatment to developing the hospitals in the country . They are now faced with the consequences of things that they have neglected to do . I also blame Nigerians to an extent, we chose to collect #1000 during election to voicing out about the poor social amenities in our villages , towns and local government. Finally I thank God for using Covid-19 to show the poor state of health sector in the country , and also for using the total lockdown in the world , to prevent these politicians from traveling out for treatment abroad . They are now been treated in the hospital they failed to develop .

A woman in the city went one morning to her husband's office to report him to his boss. She told her husband's boss how her husband usually squandered his N60,000 salary and only gave her N30,000 for upkeep. After her narration, the boss told her to come back on the last day of the month. On the set day, she arrived as planned. The boss called the husband and they all sat down in the boss' office. The boss started,' Mr. Mike, you wife reported to me some days ago that you squander your salary outside and only give the family N30,000 for upkeep. So right now, I'm going to personally hand over your salaries to her from today henceforth.' 'How much is you transportation to work daily?', the boss asked. 'N900 sir', Mr. Mike replied. The boss handed over N19,800 to Mr. Mike. 'That should take you for 22 days'. 'Do you take breakfast at home?', the boss continued. 'No sir, I leave home very early to beat traffic jam'. 'How much do you spend on breakfast and lunch daily?' 'N500 sir',replied Mr. Mike. The boss handed over N11,000 to Mr. Mike. 'Who pays the children's school fees', the boss asked facing Mrs. Mike. 'He does', she replied pointing at Mr. Mike. 'How much is the school fees and how many kids have you?' 'N30,000 per term for the two kids we have?' 'In other words, you save N10,000 monthly for each term's school fees right?' 'Yes sir', replied Mr. Mike. Once again, the boss handed N10,000 to him. 'Who pays the rent and how much is it?' 'I do sir. The rent is N36,000 per annum.' Mr. Mike replied. 'That's N3,000 monthly right?', the boss added as he handed over N3,000 to Mr. Mike. 'I don't want to ask about clothings, electricity bills, etc as I know both of you might be handling that', the boss said as he handed over N16,200 to Mrs. Mike. 'What's this for sir', Mrs. Mike asked surprised. 'Money for upkeep', the boss replied her. 'But it wouldn't take us anywhere', she exclaimed. 'So why don't you appreciate the N30, 000 your husband sacrifices for you monthly', the boss asked. The woman hugged her husband tightly and the rest is history. *Moral:* A lot of women don't know what their husbands sacrifice to put food on the table. Most times, they go hungry. Sometimes, they swallow their pride and engage in menial and debasing jobs just so their families can eat. A lot of times, they can't even buy good clothes to wear rather they sacrifice so that their wives and kids can get one. A man might not tell you what he goes through to get you the cash he gives to you as telling you might make you start underrating his person but to tell you the truth, men go through a lot and need to be appreciated.

White House immunologist Dr Anthony Fauci has announced the discovery of the first effective coronavirus treatment, which is set to be approved for use later today. Speaking at the White House Wednesday, Dr Fauci said worldwide tests on anti-viral drug Remdesivir showed it had a ‘clear-cut, significant, positive effect in diminishing the time to recovery’ for Covid-19 patients who were treated with it. He continued: ‘This is really quite important for a number of reasons, it’s highly significant.’ Dr Fauci said the average recovery time in patients given Remdesivir was 11 days, compared to 15 days for Covid-19 patients assigned the placebo, equivalent to a 31% improvement. He added: ‘What it has proven is that a drug can block this virus. Looking forward, we think this is very optimistic. The mortality rate trended towards being better – 8% (of people given Remdesivir later died) versus 11% (who died after being given the placebo)’ Dr Fauci said Remdesivir’s early success was announced for ethical reasons, to give patients currently suffering from coronavirus a better chance of being treated with a drug now known to be effective. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will now announce Remdesivir as an emergency treatment for Covid-19 sufferers in the United States as early as later today. The immunologist referenced the battle to find an effective treatment for HIV during the 1980s – which he as a key part of. He added that Remdesivir could potentially be combined with other drugs to yield even better results, just like a combination of medicines have been used to successfully treat HIV. Dr Fauci’s announcement marks the first big breakthrough in the race to find an effective treatment for coronavirus. He spoke while flanked by a smiling Dr Deborah Birx – the White House coronavirus task force’s coordinator, and President Trump. Dr Fauci has repeatedly urged caution after President Trump hailed Remdesivir and anti-malaria treatment hydroxychloroquine as potentially powerful Covid-19 treatments, with Wednesday’s announcement his most optimistic announcement since the outbreak began. Dr Fauci explained that the trial had been conducted by the US National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, of which he is director. It sponsored the trial, which began on February 21 and involved some patients being given a placebo – dummy treatment – while others were given Remdesivir itself. He described the trial as ‘highly-powered,’ with 1,090 patients given either the drug or the placebo across the world, including in Germany, Greece, Denmark and the UK. Dr Fauci said independent auditors judged the success of Remdesivir on how quickly it helped coronavirus patients recover. He stressed that Remdesivir is a treatment for people who have already been diagnosed with Covid-19, rather than a cure for the disease, or a preventative to stop it from developing in the first place. Dr Fauci said the race to develop a vaccine to prevent Covid-19 continues, with teams across the world attempting to formulate an effective shot

Senegal Surprises The Whole World By Doing What Many Countries Are Unable To Do. Senegal is among the top African countries affected by corona virus. So far Senegal has confirmed 671 coronavirus cases up to now. Out of the 671, those recovered are 283 and 8 of them are death from corona. As many companies and scientists around the world are in the race to develop a cure or rather a vaccine to the deadly virus, Senegal has come up with an invention that has surprised the whole world. Senegal is said to develop a test kit. Senegal has used Ebola and HIV AIDS experience developed test kits that would cost 1 dollar. This has arisen after so many countries around the world experience shortage of test kits. The country is now aiming at producing over 2-4 million kits which will be used even by other countries to test COVID-19. Senegal is to have the largest recovery rate in Africa and third in the whole world.

We are in a mess The Kano State governor sees the Coronavirus as follows: 1. A competition with Lagos 2. A means to corner resources. Immediately it was announced that there was $50m from the EU, Gandollar went into action. And his numbers started increasing from 3 to more than 200 in a few days. Lol. Now he's asking for 15bn Naira to combat the "virus"... almost on a threatening note; like "if you don't give me the money, I'd spread it"...maybe that's why he deported over 400 almajiri kids to Jigawa... In Nigeria, the citizens are angry because the federal government and some state governments have turned the pandemic into a money-spinning enterprise! The NCDC is VERY culpable in this. The numbers are so tragically fraudulent that the UN and WHO almost directly referred to the Numbers from Nigeria as a pure scam! Let me shock you a bit: some of the sick alleged to have Coronavirus had flu or malaria, but they are added to boost the numbers! It's all about the budget! Damn! See the following, all on the news: 1. NCDC spent 1bn Naira on SMS messages on Coronavirus 2. Federal ministry of humanitarian affairs spends 72bn in 24hrs as palliatives for Coronavirus! 3. A state government in the North spends 2 billion Naira to "dig" graves in anticipation of deaths from Coronavirus 4. The Nigerian Military spends 10bn for Military Isolation centres in Coronavirus 5. Federal Taskforce members on Coronavirus collect 500k per day as allowances. 6. Many state governors have already announced that they have spend more than a billion naira in less than a month for so on and so forth. These are just a few. In the US, they're moving mountains to solve the problem of the Coronavirus, in Nigeria however, it's a business enterprise. The citizens are left to die of the Corona itself! If we had a parliamentary system where every dime would and a decision would be bickered over, the NCDC would either have shaped-up or the DG shipped out! But the national assembly of Nigeria is far more useless than the "p" in the word "psychology"! So anything goes; the citizens are locked down, and the government officials empty the Treasury! No consequences! How on earth does a country achieve sanity that way and develop? Little Ghana next door is showing the world how to solve problems but this giant idiot is determined to even more idiotic in action, policy, and with the help of a moronic constitution? Nigeria is a tragedy... The common man has nothing to gain, he or she is completely helpless!

Bill Gates, has said that it is most likely that the weather condition in Nigeria and India may be restricting the covid-19 spread in the countries. “So far, developing countries like India and Nigeria account for a small portion of the reported global infections. “With luck, some factors that we don’t understand yet, like how weather might affect the virus’s spread, will prevent large-scale infection in these countries, ” he said in his latest article tagged ‘Innovation Vs. The Coronavirus’. Gates, however, noted that although countries like Nigeria has a large young population, economic hardship among others poses a great threat to people’s life. “Even though their populations are disproportionately young—which would tend to mean fewer deaths from COVID-19—this advantage is almost certainly offset by the fact that many low-income people’s immune systems are weakened by conditions like malnutrition or HIV. “And the less developed a country’s economy is, the harder it is to make the behavior changes that reduce the virus’s reproduction rate,” he said. He further predicted a wide spread of the Coronavirus in developing countries, citing their poor health facilities. He also stated that his foundation would continue to do its best in supporting relevant agencies in fighting the pandemic.
