Crime › New Method Scammers Use To Empty Bank Account Without Your ATM Card Or Phone by Gjrich(op): 10:37pm On Jun 05, 2020
Before now Scammers need ATM card or mobile phone to empty Bank Account, but now they have upgraded their strategy, they don't even need your ATM card, BVN or even your mobile phone number.

Please let's be very careful. There is a new HIGH TECH FRAUD in town called the SIM SWAP FRAUD, and hundreds of persons are already VICTIMS.

How does it work ?.

1). A new fraud called SIM SWAP has started. Your phone network will momentarily go blind/zero (No Signal/ Zero Bars) and after a while a call will come through.

2). The Person on the other end of the call will tell you that he is calling from (your cell phone company) depending on your network and that there is a problem in your mobile network.

3). He will instruct you to Please press 1 on your phone to get the network back.

That's it, don't even think of pressing anything.

Please at this stage don't Press anything, Just cut or END the call.

If you press 1, the network will appear suddenly and almost immediately go blind again (Zero Bars) and by that action, your phone is hacked.

Within some minutes they will empty your bank account, and you won't receive any alert.

It will appear as though your line is without Network, meanwhile your SIM has been SWAPPED.

Swapping your SIM means exchanging your SIM card with them and thereby giving them full control of your account.

The danger here is that, you will not get any alert of any transactions.

So please those of us doing USSD Banking and Mobile Banking let's be very careful. Many accounts has been emptied and even some people reading this now might have almost fall a victim of this.

What do you do when this happens ?. Once you start experiencing zero bars of network, it's best to reboot your phone, doing that ends any hacking code they are doing at the moment. Don't answer any call telling you they are fr your bank, your bank can never call you on phone and ask you to press 1 or any other number. Also report any case of such experience to your bank to help you secure your bank account more and track the transaction.

Please share this to your contacts, loved ones and friends. The fraud is increasing day by day. You can save someone by sharing this information.

Politics › Umar To Buhari: You’ll Destroy Nigeria With Lopsided Appointments by Gjrich(op): 4:11am On Jun 01, 2020
Abubakar Umar, a retired army colonel and former military governor of Kaduna State, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari that Nigeria risks sliding into crisis if the president “continues to give undue preference to some sections of the country over others” in national appointments.

Mr Umar, in an open letter he wrote on Sunday to Mr Buhari, said Nigeria has already become “dangerously polarized” under Mr Buhari.

The lopsidedness in Mr Buhari’s appointment, Mr Umar said, is more glaring in the leadership of the nation’s security services.

He mentioned to Mr Buhari some of the actions of former Nigerian leaders whom he (Umar) said were able to rise above ethnic and sectional considerations to do what was right in the interest of the nation.

Mr Umar’s letter is titled ‘Mr. President; Please Belong to All of Us’, a sarcastic reminder of a popular quote made by Mr Buhari during his inauguration in 2015 – ‘I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody’.

Mr Umar referred the president to the case of the former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen, who was disgraced out of office on corruption charges.

Mr Onnoghen had resigned from office on account of the charges and was later convicted by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The thinking among some Nigerians was that Mr Onnoghen, from Cross River, South-South Nigeria, was “hounded” out of office so that a northerner could become the CJN.

After his appointment by President Buhari as acting CJN on November 10, 2016, Mr Onnoghen’s confirmation was sent to the Senate three months after not by Mr Buhari, but by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who was the acting president then. He was sworn in by Mr Osinbajo, March 7, 2017.

“You may wish to recall that I had cause to appeal to you, to confirm Justice Onnoghen as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria a few days before the expiration of his three months tenure of the acting appointment to be replaced by a Muslim Northerner,” Mr Umar said to President Buhari in the letter.

“We were saved that embarrassment when his nomination was sent to the senate by the then acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. When he was finally confirmed a few days to the end of his tenure, he was removed after a few months and replaced by Justice Muhammed, a Muslim from the North,” Mr Umar added.

“May I also invite the attention of Mr. President to the pending matter of appointment of a Chief Judge of the Nigerian Court Appeal which appears to be generating public interest.

“As it is, the most senior Judge, Justice Monica Dongban Mensem, a northern Christian, is serving out her second three-month term as acting Chief Judge without firm prospects that she will be confirmed substantive head.

“I do not know Justice Mensem but those who do attest to her competence, honesty and humility. She appears eminently qualified for appointment as the substantive Chief Judge of the Court of Appeal as she is also said to be highly recommended by the National Judicial Council.

“If she is not and is bypassed in favor of the next in line who happens to be another northern Muslim, that would be truly odd. In which case, even the largest contingent of PR gurus would struggle to rebut the charges that you, Mr. President, is either unwilling or incapable of acting on your pledge to belong to everyone — and to no one.

“I hope you would see your way into pausing and reflecting on the very grave consequences of such failure not just to your legacy but to the future of our great country,” the retired colonel said.

The lopsidedness in President Buhari’s appointments has been a regular subject of discourse among Nigerians. The president, for long, has appeared unmoved by criticism over the issue but has denied that his appointments are lopsided.

See the full text of Mr Umar’s letter to President Buhari below:

Muhammadu Buhari, Sunday 30th May 2020

President,
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Dear Mr. President,

*MR. PRESIDENT; PLEASE BELONG TO ALL OF US.*

“One of the swiftest ways of destroying a Kingdom is to give preference of one particular tribe over another or show favor to one group of people rather than another. And to draw near those who should be kept away and keep away those who should be drawn near” Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio.

I have been prompted to write you this open letter, Mr. President, by the loud sounds of drums, singing and dancing that erupted within many groups in the last few days on the grounds that you attained the 5th year in office as President of Nigeria. It comes as no surprise that enthusiasm for the celebration is not shared equally by segments of the public. While your admirers and supporters believe you have performed well, many others believe the five years you have been in office as our President has not met the yearnings, expectations and change promised Nigerians.

Mr. President, you know me well enough and my position on issues to realize that I can be neither a rabid supporter nor a fanatical opponent of yours. I believe being a responsible citizen is enough reason to wish you well and to work for your success. As we have seen all too clearly these past few years, your success is ours as is your failure. We swim or sink with you!

You might wish to recall that after the results of the 23rd of February 2019 presidential elections were announced, giving you victory, I addressed a press conference during which I urged the runner-up, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, to concede defeat. The reason was clear: tensions were running high and little missteps by the leaders might ignite violence, as often happened after major elections. Some supporters of Abubakar Atiku disagreed with me and told me off. As it happened, Alhaji Atiku went ahead to mount a legal challenge to the outcome of the elections up to the Supreme Court. Mercifully, his actions did not result in an outbreak of violence as we feared.

At the same occasion, I counselled the declared winner, your good self, to use the opportunity of your second term to redeem your pledge of being a leader and president of all Nigerians.

On the occasion of the first-year anniversary into your second four-year term, I feel there is an urgent need to revisit this subject matter.

Mr. President, you have often expressed the hope that history will be kind to you. It is within your competence to write that history. But you have less than three years in which to do it. You may wish to note that any authentic history must be devoid of myth. It will be a true, factual rendition of the record of your performance.

And truth be told, Mr. President, there are quite a lot of things that speak to your remarkable accomplishments, not least of which is that for the first time in our democratic history, a sitting President was defeated. That feat was achieved by Muhammadu Buhari. The reason was the public belief of you as a man of integrity.

The corollary to this is that at the expiration of your 8-year tenure in 2023, your achievements will not be measured solely by the physical infrastructure your administration built. An enduring legacy would be based on those intangible things like how much you uplifted the spirit and moral tone of the nation. How well have you secured the nation from ourselves and from external enemies?

At this time and in the light of all that have happened since you took office, any conversation with you Mr. President cannot gloss over the chaos that has overtaken appointments into government offices in your administration. All those who wish you and the country well must mince no words in warning you that Nigeria has become dangerously polarized and risk sliding into crisis on account of your administration’s lopsided appointments which continues to give undue preference to some sections of the country over others.

Nowhere is this more glaring than in the leadership cadre of our security services.

Mr. President, I regret that there are no kind or gentle words to tell you that your skewed appointments into the offices of the federal government, favoring some and frustrating others, shall bring ruin and destruction to this nation.

I need not remind you, Mr. President, that our political history is replete with great acts of exemplary leadership which, at critical moments, managed to pull this nation back from the precipice and assured its continued existence.

A few examples will demonstrate this:

In February, 1965, the NPC-led Federal Government was faced with a decision to appoint a successor to the outgoing Nigerian Army General Officer Commanding (GOC), General Welby Everard, a Briton. Four most senior officers were nominated; namely, Brigadiers Aguiyi Ironsi, Ogundipe, Ademulegun and Maimalari. The first three were senior to Maimalari but he was deemed to be more qualified due to his superior commission. He was the first Sandhurst Regular trained officer in the Nigerian Army. His being a Muslim Northerner like the Minister of Defense, Alhaji Muhammadu Ribadu and the Prime Minister, Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa granted him added advantage by today’s standards. But to the surprise of even the Igbos, and opposition from some senior NPC members, Minister Ribadu recommended Ironsi, pointing to his seniority. The Prime Minister concurred and Aguiyi Ironsi was confirmed as the first indigenous GOC of the Nigerian Army.

When on 13 February 1976, the Commander-in-Chief, General Murtala Muhammed, was assassinated in a failed Coup de tat, General Olusegun Obasanjo, his deputy and the most senior officer at the time, was sworn in as his successor. The Chief of Army Staff, General T.Y Danjuma, a Northern Christian, was next in line to succeed Obasanjo as the Chief of Staff, SHQ and Deputy Commander in Chief. General Danjuma however waived his right and recommended a much junior officer, Lt. Col. Shehu Musa Yar’adua, for the post. Shehu was promoted two steps up to the rank of Brigadier and appointed Chief of Staff SHQ and Deputy Commander-in-Chief. Lt. Col. Muhammadu Buhari was appointed Minister of Petroleum. This was done to placate Muslim North which was deemed to have lost one of its own, Murtala Muhammed.

Both the chief of staff, Mr. Sunday Awoniyi, and the personal physician Dr Ishaya Audu to the Premier of Northern Nigeria, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello, a direct descendant of Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio, were Christians.

Barely nine years after the civil war in 1979, the NPN Presidential candidate, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, picked an Igbo, Dr Alex Ekwueme, as his running mate. They enjoyed a truly brotherly relationship as President and Vice President. President Shagari’s political advisor, Dr Chuba Okadigbo and National Assembly Liaison, assistant, Dr K.O Mbadiwe, were both Igbos. His economic advisor, Prof. Emmanuel Edozien and his Chief of Personnel Staff Dr Michael Prest, were of Niger Delta extraction. Remarkably, all his military service chiefs were Christians with the exception of his last Chief Army Staff, General Inuwa Wushishi under whose tenure he was removed in a military coup de tat.

Mr. President, as a witness and beneficiary, it is our expectation that you would emulate these great acts of statesmanship. Which is why we have continued to engage with you.

You may wish to recall that I had cause to appeal to you, to confirm Justice Onnoghen as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria a few days before the expiration of his three months tenure of acting appointment to be replaced by a Muslim Northerner. We were saved that embarrassment when his nomination was sent to the senate by the then acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. When he was finally confirmed a few days to the end of his tenure, he was removed after a few months and replaced by Justice Muhammed, a Muslim from the North.

May I also invite the attention of Mr. President to the pending matter of appointment of a Chief Judge of the Nigerian Court Appeal which appears to be generating public interest. As it is, the most senior Judge, Justice Monica Dongban Mensem, a northern Christian, is serving out her second three-month term as acting Chief Judge without firm prospects that she will be confirmed substantive head. I do not know Justice Mensem but those who do attest to her competence, honesty and humility. I hope you would see your way into pausing and reflecting on the very grave consequences of such failure not just to your legacy but to the future of our great country.

Thank you for your time, Mr. President.

Politics › Fraud: President Buhari Orders ICPC To Probe NCDC Over COVID-19 Release Funds by Gjrich(op): 9:37am On May 30, 2020
The ICPC has announced the start of an investigation into allegations of corruption and stealing of Coronavirus subsidies collected by the government.

The director of the commission's activities, Akeem Lawal, stated this during a stakeholders' meeting on Thursday, May 28th.

The headline of the conference was: "COVID-19, conducting fundraising and monitoring activities," saying that they are investigating allegations of corruption by some government agencies in the distribution of grain subsidies.

Others include bribery charges related to the purchase of COVID-19 donations, traffic funds and public awareness campaigns about the disease.

Lawal said there are some states that are investigating how their governments have created counties in the name of the pandemic, and where funding has been diverted.

Anyone caught in the scandal, no matter who you are, will be charged to court. We also monitor the distribution of money and food under the federal government's financial aid program and student feeding.

The reason we are included in the COVID-19 fund is to prevent corruption and corruption as provided by our laws, as well as the president's directive to us to ensure transparency and accountability. ” He says.

Politics › Buhari’s Major Problem Is Incompetent And Selfish Lieutenants – Ango Abdullahi by Gjrich(op): 8:03am On May 30, 2020
Professor Ango Abdullahi is a former minister and former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. He is now the chairman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).

In this interview with Daily Trust Saturday, he has, among others, blamed what he called incompetent and selfish appointees/associates for the “failure” of Buhari’s administration. Excerpt:

Nigeria is celebrating 21 years since the return of democracy, what is your take on that?

I did not believe 29th of May is the Democracy Day for Nigeria. Democracy Day is 1st of October, because that is the day that Nigeria became politically independent from colonial masters. If the interpretation of Democracy Day means Nigeria has moved from military to another form of administration, I wouldn’t say that we have moved from military administration to democracy. What we have done was to move from military administration to civilian administration.

There is difference between civilian administration and democratic administration. As far as I am concerned we have not enjoyed democratic administration in the last 21 years, including the current period that we are in now. In fact, we have suffered more in terms of less democracy in the last four to five years than any other time in the last 21 years.

How then do you view the leadership style of the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari?

Well, it is difficult to give straight answer to this question. From a distance, I would say that he delegates power to other people who probably have no qualification and competence to execute the duties of their offices. They may also have no mandate to execute those powers delegated to them.

The presidential powers that are enshrined in the constitution are entailing the responsibilities of a person who offered himself for election, as Buhari did. Eventually, he emerged as the president and therefore those powers are exclusively his own powers. All he needs to do is to ensure that those powers are executed in the expectation of the people of the country.

Yes, he can’t do everything all alone; we concede. He has to find people or assistants, associates and colleagues who would be assigned various roles and responsibilities to carry out those functions that are his own.

I once postulated few months after he emerged as president for second term that we trust his honesty, but unfortunately he has failed to gather the necessary materials with which to execute the duties and functions of the office of the president by the poor quality of people that he gathered around either as ministers or any other role they play.

As a teacher, if you asked to grade the performance of Buhari in comparison to the previous presidents since the return of democracy, what would be your score for him?

I have worked with only one of the presidents. I worked with Obasanjo for three years. Of course, Obasanjo was a better president. I ranked Obasanjo far better president than Buhari. This is because of his ability to take on the duties of president whether sometimes right or wrong.

The critical job of the president is to take decision. Some of the decisions may be right, while others may be wrong. The most important thing is that there must be somebody who takes decisions and take responsibility. This is where Obasanjo excelled. He took decision and took responsibility. This is the major difference between Obasanjo’s presidency and that of Buhari.

Aside selection of competent lieutenants, which other area do you think that the Buhari presidency is lagging behind?

I have never personally been close to him, but from afar I would say lack of firmness. Firmness means that he should come out as president to ensure that his decisions are executed to the latter. However, we notice that he did not exhibit that firmness.

For example, when somebody is alleged to have done something wrong and you requested for evidence and ample of them were provided; the president should take decisive action to serve as deterrent. The reverse is however the case. We have instances of people close to him that engaged in one wrong doing or the other, but went scot free after a lot of evidences have been adduced directly and indirectly. These were in terms of both moral and material corruption.

People may find it difficult to reconcile your two extreme positions, as you were one of the prominent people that vigorously campaigned for Buhari in 2015….

What brought about the change of position is the fact we were expecting much from him, because a lot of things were going wrong at that time. The major factor at that time was the failure of the PDP to honour a pledge and agreement of which I was aware as well as a party to it.

It was agreed that after General Obasanjo’s eight years, a candidate of Northern extraction would be president for another eight years. Unfortunately, Umaru Yar’adua died after three years in office. So, it means in terms of numbers, the North would be expecting five years in office, but this was cut short by the death of Yar’adua.

Therefore, we were expecting the party in 2011 to come out without any argument that the North should provide another candidate for president in whatever party, it doesn’t matter. When PDP refused to honour that pledge; that was why we came out and fought on the side of Buhari who we felt was the better candidate at that time.

Buhari centred his campaign, in both 2015 and 2019, on three basic issues; security, fight against corruption and revival of the economy. Are you saying that he has not made impact on any?

Well, on economy I should ask you how you are doing with your Cefane (shopping of basic necessities). With regards to insecurity, I think this is a belaboured issue, because at the time he came, the major security challenge was Boko Haram. Now, in addition to Boko Haram, you have bandits, you have kidnappers and all sort of issues that have to do with insecurity of people in their homes and wherever else they are operating.

We have analysed all these challenges and we felt that he did not deserve second term and this was why we advised Nigerians not to return him. This is because he has not demonstrated that he can handle the various challenges that are on daily basis getting worse. Our position in 2019 attracted all sorts of accusations and we are seeing the result of our failure to understand that Buhari is not the answer to our problems as it stood in 2019 and even now.

What do you think is the way out?

He has been constantly advised in terms of the failure of those assigned the responsibility of keeping Nigeria safe. They have not done what they have to do to improve the security situation of the country. It is therefore for people to judge whether the administration has heeded to the pieces of advice given.

I think he still has a chance, because he has three years ahead. It all depends on the approach, determination and the assignees to do the job. You assign correct people to do difficult jobs. For me, there are good Nigerians that can satisfy these requirements.

If because of your experience and other attributes, you are asked to come and assist in addressing the numerous challenges you have enumerated; would you accept?

No.

Why Sir?

I don’t want to work on assumptions. I would determine the reasons why I would be invited if ever I would be invited and see whether I have been invited to do a job that I could do or it is something else. The only invitation one can consider is on what one feels I can do or perform.

However, I would like to recommend that no nation progresses without good leadership. Go and read history, you would find that developments that are taking place around the world are largely around good leadership.

Good leadership is a conglomerate. Once you have good leaders, you expect good governance. In good governance, people expect to see honesty, integrity and corruption-free system. These are things that make other countries develop. Until we have those kinds of elements in our system, certainly development would continue to elude us.

Nigeria should review the political system it is running. It should consider going back to parliamentary system of government rather than keeping the presidential system, which is corruption prone and inefficient. Presidential system of government of the American style is not for poor countries; hence it is not suitable for Nigeria. This is because it leads to abuse, corruption and lack of accountability and these are what we have been seeing.

Politics › MKO Abiola Invited Abacha To Overthrow Shonekan In Agreement To Handover To Him by Gjrich(op): 10:18pm On May 29, 2020
#BOMBSHELL!!! ABIOLA INVITED ABACHA TO OVERTHROW SHONEKAN IN AGREEMENT TO HANDOVER TO HIM AFTER. - SDP Party Chairman. - badmus@cas.tv

“I was returning from one of such trips to a prominent Emir one afternoon when I heard from my car radio Chief Abiola calling on General Abacha to come and ease Chief Shonekan as he eased out Babangida, I was shocked.

I called Chief Abiola and asked for an explanation of what I had just heard.

His reply was, “Mr. Chairman, I am very happy to have worked for you. You are a strong-willed man, but you see, if you want to go to Kano by road and you later decide to go to Kano by air, as long as you get to Kano, there is nothing wrong with that”.

At this time, the party did not know and I did not know Chief Abiola was having discussions with General Abacha who had promised him that if Chief Abiola supported, and if he, General Abacha, took over from Chief Shonekan today, he would hand-over the reins of Government to Chief Abiola the next day, and Chief Abiola bought the idea.

We later got to know that there were series of meetings in Ikeja where names of those who would serve in Abacha government were discussed and forwarded. When we found out that things were not moving well and that the interim government was a lame duck, I went to have a meeting with the then Secretary for agriculture, Alhaji Isa Muhammed, and I expressed my disgust at the way the government was being run.

On two occasions, I addressed the Federal Executive Council under Chief Shonekan when the two Chairmen were invited.

On the first occasion, I told Chief Ernest Shonekan that the relationship between the governors and the interim government left much to be desired as there was no discipline. Chief Shonekan picked up a copy of the constitution and said, “Chairman of SDP, I will go by this document. I have to obey this constitution. If any governor has misbehaved report him to the police”.

The second time we were called on an issue in the chambers when the Federal Executive Council was meeting, again I raised the alarm and I again told Chief Shonekan that one day, the military boys will come and drive him out of his seat.

Chief Adelusi Adeluyi (Juli Pharmacy) who was the Secretary for Health got up and told his colleagues that the Chairman of SDP had twice given warning signals and no one seemed to be taking the warnings seriously.

We again left and allowed the Federal Executive Council to continue its meeting. On this very day, I went to the Secretary for Agriculture, Isa Mohammed, and had discussions on the unsatisfactory state of affairs. He was a personal friend and he promised to see Chief Shonekan that evening with a promise to get back to me, no matter how late.

I waited until about 1 a.m. and slept off without hearing from him. In the afternoon the following day, I called him to remind him of our discussion and he said it was not possible to see Chief Shonekan the previous evening as there were too many visitors and friends. He added that they had just been called to the villa for an emergency meeting and that he would stay behind after that meeting to discuss with Chief Shonekan.

Isa Mohammed admitted that he too was also disturbed by the situation.
Immediately we stopped talking on the telephone, the British High Commissioner called me on my mobile and said, “Tony, something is happening”. And I just asked, “What is it?” He replied, “change of government” and just switched off.

I was with the Deputy Senate President, Senator Albert Legogie, when I got the message.

I went back to the house not knowing that General Abacha was taking over from Chief Shonekan which explains why the secretaries (Ministers) were called to the Villa for the emergency meeting. This was the end of the Interim Government.

It must be stated categorically here that when Chief M.K.O Abiola decided to wage war against the Interim National Government so he could take-over against the Government almost immediately Chief Shonekan was removed, he thus broke faith, not only with his party and its leadership, but also with the two political parties (SDP and NRC) which had laboured to set up the ING through effective resistance to the Federal Military Government of General Babangida.

Instead, Chief Abiola recruited “friends and supporters” who were not from the social democratic Party although some of them belonged to that party. This was to further his personal design for realizing that famous metaphor of going to Kano by air instead of road.

Immediately Abacha took over, Chief Abiola led his “friends” to pay a courtesy call on General Abacha to congratulate him. General Abacha took advantage of this and made sure that for the next two week, this courtesy call was aired on NTA Network News, to prove that Abiola had accepted his take-over of government. As stated already, the two parties had agreed in sharing ministerial offices with the reinstatement of Chief Abiola after the interim period. That arrangement, as far as Chief Abiola was concerned, was going to be too slow for his purpose.

His friends and supporters, not the party, were fully aware of the plan to topple Shonekan. They worked for it and canvassed for it. They were apparently not aware that in doing so, they were going to enthrone or ride on the back of a tiger. The long history of military rule in Nigeria and Abacha’s role in announcing most of the military coups would have been sufficient warning that they were parleying witha dangerous customer.

The tragedy of the Interim National Government was that Chief Shonekan never enjoyed the support of Chief M.K.O Abiola, the people of his home state and the people from his geo-political area, or the South-Western part of Nigeria. They did everything to bring Shonekan and his interim administration down from press attacks, to legal judgments, to hijacking of the A310 Air Bus, all in an attempt to create the atmosphere of lawlessness or the breakdown of law and order.

The Interim National Government fell due to the adroit manoeuvres of Chief Abiola, orchestrated attacks from Abiola’s supporters, as well as the lack of political base and support for Chief Ernest Shonekan who had good intentions for the country. In governance and politics, good intentions are not sufficient to sustain any leader in office. These have to be matched by effective control of the situation, ability to monitor the political pendulum to know which wat it swings at any time, as well as intelligent anticipation to develop strategies to confront emerging challenges.

Above all, political base and support are indispensable. Ernest Shonekan did not appear to have mastered the Nigerian situation, and when he was faced with scheming and planned hostility, he could not survive. In fact, his rule can be described as a tragedy of good intentions. Chief Shonekan is a good man but not a politician.
When the Abacha take-over was announced, there was jubilation by all those who knew of the “Agreement” between Chief M.K.O Abiola and General Abacha.

The Nicon Noga Hilton Hotel was in celebration mood as all those senators who had pre-knowledge of this so-called agreement, and who anticipated that Abacha would handover to Chief Abiola the next day or immediately, were shouting “M.K.O.! M.K.O.! Presido! Presido!”. It was for this same reason that, unknown to the party leadership; Chief Abiola led a team of supporters and relations as well as friends on a visit to congratulate General Abacha for a job well done.

It can now be recalled that during the ensuing struggle with Abacha to validate the June 12 election, and in order to prove that Chief Abiola was in full support of what he had done, General Abacha would play the tape of this visit repeatedly on Network News.
Four days before the June 12 election, (i.e. Wednesday), I flew in from Abuja to meet Chief M.K.O. Abiola to tell him that we had no money to pay polling agents as the promise made by government to grant the sum of ₦40 million (forty million naira) to each of the parties had deliberately not been fulfilled.

The government refused to release the money. Chief Abiola said he did not have money. I went to Universal Trust Bank to see Godson Esejele, later Executive Director (Finance), Federal Housing Authority, who was the Assistant General Manager of that bank. He told me that by 10:00 am the next day (Thursday) he would arrange ₦15 million (fifteen million naira) for us. The only condition attached was that if the promised ₦40 million (forty million naira) from the government got to the party, we should open an account with the bank with that amount.

I drove to Ikeja to see Chief Abiola and gave a rundown of the arrangement I was making. He thanked me heartily but added that if he had known, he would have told me to request for ₦20 million (twenty million naira) because of some of his commitments he was unable to meet at the time. The Federal Government was owing him heavily.

I must admit that Chief Abiola spent a great deal of his money. He was all out to win the election little realising that his best friend was going to be his worst enemy. He was a good candidate. There was no where we went to that he did not have something to show that he helped the people of that area. Although he was a Moslem, while building mosques for Moslem communities, he was also building churches for Christians.

He gave out scholarships to both Christians and Moslems; to Yoruba people, Igbos, and Hausa, without discrimination. He was a very good candidate.
I went back to the hotel and met Godson who said that if we wanted ₦20 million (twenty million naira), the money would not be ready by 10:00 am. We would have to wait till about 12:00 noon. By 11:30 am the next morning, Godson called me to say the money was ready. I went to the bank in Victoria Island and two bullion vans were ready with escort.

When I asked for a bond for the amount, the Managing Director dais, “we know you. When you get your cheque, you should open an account here”. I did not sign any document or undertaking that I was taking that money from the bank which illustrates what trust and credibility, or integrity can mean at critical moments.

I telephoned Chief M.K.O. Abiola that I was coming to the private wing of the local airport at Ikeja and that he should meet me there. I met him waiting with Kola and Habib bank manager from Apapa, and we realized that as it was already Thursday and election was just two days away, the “Hope 93” aircraft was insufficient for distributing money country-wide. We decided, therefore to charter an Okada aircraft for distributing money in the Northern states while “Hope 93” was to distribute the money in the Southern states for the payment of polling agents.

That evening, I went by road to Edo state and delivered the money for that State to Chief Odigie-Oyegun because I had to stay in Edo state for the election. I got to Benin City by 10 pm that day. When we eventually got the ₦40 million (forty million naira), we kept our promise and made sure that the ₦40 million (forty million naira) was used to open an account with UTB (Universal Trust Bank).
Air Borne But No Landing
Chief M.K.O Abiola, as indicated earlier, had said that if you want to go to Kano, going by air or by road does not make any difference as long as you get there.

His interpretation of this was that going by air meant Abacha taking over from Shonekan and he Abiola, being sworn in the next day. Going by road was waiting till March, 1994, when Shonekan would use the National Assembly to hand over to him because he actually had won the presidential election. Unfortunately for Chief Abiola, he was air borne on his way to Kano but could not land.

There was, in fact, no landing, and Kano as the desired destination proved to be a fantasy.
It is a pity indeed, that Chief Abiola kept the leadership of the party away from his arrangement with General Abacha to takeover form Shonekan. If he had brought it to the notice of the leadership of the part, he would have been well advised.
The “Agreement” was phoney and hollow. It was an agreement which was inexplicable and in excusable in its folly and terrible in its consequences. In a similar but not identical set of circumstances, I had advised Chief Abiola against declaring himself the president of this country when arising from Abacha’s refusal to handover to him drove him to that extreme line of thought.

I spoke to him on the telephone pointing out that the army was not there to back him up. He had no police support, and not even the immigration or customs would back him.

My Advice to M.K.O. Abiola
I advised against his intended line of action. In reply he merely said, “Mr. Chairman, you are a very good man. Anyway, we shall discuss that one later”, and he replaced the telephone.
As I did not want to be blamed later for not advising Chief Abiola correctly, I advertised my advice the following day in some of the daily newspapers.

It was clear to me that the course of action to which Chief M.K.O. Abiola was heading was not only going to be self-destructive but also ruinous. He would play into the hands of the military and offer himself as a sacrificial lamb by delivering himself to those who, for various and obvious reasons, very much wanted him out of the scene.

In addition to giving M.K.O. Abiola specific advice against his intended line of action, I also commented on those calling for a boycott of the election to select candidates to the constitutional conference which the Abacha regime was putting in place to address the various problems confronting the nation and putting out a new Constitution for Nigeria. I was convinced that the conference would achieve a lotfor this country, including setting the timeframe for the military’s exit from Nigerian politics.

Chief Abiola did not listen. The result of his action landed him in jail.

The Escape
While negotiations for the Interim Government were on, I was briefing Chief Abiola from time to time. One day, as we were going in for one of those meetingsat the villa, Chief Abiola told me that he had a message he wanted me to pass on to President Babangida and that he would send it by fax. I never received any fax message for onward transmission to the president because that was the day M.K.O. Abiola left Nigeria for the United Kingdom.

He did not want me to know that he was leaving the country. The following morning, I waited and waited all in vain for that fax message. I never received it till I was almost running late to attend a meeting at the villa. My other party men were waiting and we had to go. The next morning a BBC correspondent from London called me and asked if I was the chairman of SDP. On answering yes, he said, “your candidate is here”. I asked, “Which candidate?” and he answered. “Chief M.K.O. Abiola”. I was forced to ask him, “Where are you speaking from?” He replied, “This is BBC London. Do you want to hear his voice?”.

It was then I knew Chief Abiola had left the country.
Chief Abiola’s absence from the country at this critical time was disastrous to the party and to the party and to his cause. He was the symbol of theJune 12 election and most Nigerians were struggling for him. Escaping from the scene created a vacuum which made the struggle meaningless. It was the climax of the fear he had exhibited right from the time President Babangida nullified the June 12 election.

When Chief Abiola eventually returned, he visited me in Benin in my residence. One of the questions I asked him was, “Presido, I was the last person you spoke to on the day you left and you did not tell me that you were travelling?” Before the full glare of camera lights and press, he replied that “when two birds are on a tree, one does not tell the other that a stone is coming”. So he knew a stone was coming and we were two birds on a tree and he fled without telling me a stone was coming”. It seemed to me and to many Nigerians too, that the parable of birds on a tree was a very loaded and pregnant one. It shows the character of Chief M.K.O. Abiola whose cause many Nigerians were prepared to fight and die for. Today, the result of his action has been extremely unfortunate.

Nigerians citizen's have become more concern about what the NCDC give covid-19 victims. The recovered victim of covid-19 testified that tablet's and injections are been given to them day by day and some test are been run on them. Once a victim of covid-19 said "A tablet that I know so well and use whenever I've cold was given to me at the isolation center". The drug was Mixagrip, it was not given to us in pack but on our hands and ask us to take that moment. I can recall so well how mixagrip taste and the description on the drugs.

El-Rufai: Stop Crying Over Almajiri.
You Called 165 Schools GEJ Built For Them A Fraud- Reno.

Former Spokesperson to Ex President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokiri has asked The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai to stop shedding crocodile tears over the situation of Almajirais in Nigeria.

Mr. Omokiri who made this statement on his verified Twitter handle today said that on October 12, 2014, El-Rufai had in a tweet undermined the 165 schools President Goodluck Jonathan built for the Almajirais in the Nothern Nigeria.

According to him, El-Rufai described the Almajirai education program under Goodluck Jonathan as a fraud.

Mr. Omokiri supported his statement with a proof of statement made by El Rufai in 2014 when he was a member of the then opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.

It could be recalled that the Coronavirus pandemic once again raised the need for the Northern Nigeria to do something about 9 million Almajirais in the Nothern Nigeria.

Some of them were sent back to their states recently due to the pandemic and have tested positive to the virus.

Foreign Affairs › Italian Leader Calls Bill Gates A “vaccine Criminal,” Demands His Arrest by Gjrich(op): 2:53pm On May 23, 2020
Just a few days after it was revealed through an intercepted human intelligence report that Bill Gates is attempting to bribe Nigerian politicians into passing a mandatory vaccination bill for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), an Italian politician has come forward to demand that the billionaire software tycoon be immediately handed over to international courts to be tried for committing crimes against humanity.

Sara Cunial, who previously sounded the alarm about how Gates has been pushing his vaccine agenda in Africa and India for years, says that this “vaccine criminal” needs to be taken off the streets and dealt with for the protection of humanity. In essence, she declared that he is a threat to human civilization and the safety of children.

revealed through an intercepted human intelligence report that Bill Gates is attempting to bribe Nigerian politicians into passing a mandatory vaccination bill for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), an Italian politician has come forward to demand that the billionaire software tycoon be immediately handed over to international courts to be tried for committing crimes against humanity.

Leave it to Italy to be the nation that calls a spade a spade when it comes to the nefarious activities of Bill Gates, who our own media and politicians routinely praise for his alleged “contributions” to “humanitarian” efforts. Not only is Gates a fraud, but he is a proven genocidal maniac who is actively trying to “thin the herd” through mass vaccination.

Gates hates freedom, and even more than that he hates innocent humanity, and particularly precious children whom he sees as nothing more than human guinea pigs to be exploited for financial and political gain. Gates is a dangerous criminal, in other words, and Cunial is right: He needs to go.

Listen below to The Health Ranger Report as Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, discusses how mandatory vaccination is a form of medical rape, and those who engage in forcing vaccines on people are guilty of committing felony assault:

Just say NO to Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines
Keep in mind that as far back as 2015, Italian leaders were actively warning the world that communist China was conducing biological experiments with coronaviruses. A November 2015 broadcast, in fact, showed Chinese scientists meddling with SARS (severe acute respiratory system), a cousin of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).

It was asked at that time whether such experiments were even necessary, let alone safe. If there was even a small possibility that such viruses might escape into the general public, then such experiments needed to end, was the message being loudly sent.

As for this latest experiment gone wrong, or so it would seem, Cunial gave a resounding seven-minute speech recently claiming that Italy was subjected to a “holy inquisition of false science.” She added that Italy’s lockdowns were completely unnecessary and were only implemented to advance the globalist agenda, which as we know is being largely spearheaded by Gates and his vaccine agenda.

Cunial continues to urge her fellow political leaders to wake up to what is going on and reject it. She warns that any attempt at compulsory vaccination with a future Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is a deep state plot to consolidate power and control the masses.

“It is our children who will lose more, who are ‘raped souls,’ with the help of the so-called ‘guarantor of their rights’ and of CISMAI (Italian Coordination of Services against Child Abuse),” Cunial stated as part of her speech, warning about the devastating impacts of all of this on Italy’s, and really the world’s, precious children.

“In this way, the right to school will be granted only with a bracelet to get them used to probation, to get them used to slavery – involuntary treatment and to virtual lager. All this in exchange for a push-scooter and a tablet. All to satisfy the appetites of a financial capitalism whose driving force is the conflict of interest, conflict well represented by the WHO, whose main financier is the well-known ‘philanthropist and savior of the world’ Bill Gate.

Cunial’s entire speech is available at this link.

Christianity Etc › How DNA Allegedly Exposed Prophet Joshua Iginla's Estranged Wife's Adultery by Gjrich(op): 4:16am On May 23, 2020
As the news of Remarriage of one of Nigeria's great men of God, Prophet Joshua Iginla spreads on internet, let us look back at what led to the breakup of his marriage to his estranged wife, Pastor Yemisi. Prophet Iginla and Yemisi supposedly have three children together before their marriage crashed in 2019.

Pastor Iginla took a bold step in March 2019 to confess before shocked members of his church that he was annulling his marriage with Yemisi due to infidelity.

According to a report by Tosin Osho, a freelance investigative journalist who investigated the shady relationship between the pastor and his now former wife hit the rock, Yemisi's infidelity was allegedly exposed by DNA test results.

In the report which was published on Nairaland Forum and major online media in March 2019, Tosin Osho said she decided to unravel the truth after five years of painstaking understudy of the whole drama as an insider.

She revealed that the beginning of the breakup had been when Prophet Joshua Iginla stumbled on pictures and some erotic messages between his beloved wife with some guests pastors on her phone while she was having her bath. The sordid details revealed that Pastor Yemisi had been unfaithful to her husband.

The phone leakage made the man of God to open investigations into his wife's escapades.

The investigation led to DNA tests on the three children they have. When the results came out, they were devastating! The DNA results revealed that Prophet Iginla was not the father of some of the three kids they have. But the revered man of God did not want to let the cat out of the bag or reveal the identity of the children involved because of the impact it will have the children. The report revealed that all hell was let loosed when Yemisi was confronted with the facts.

The discovery led to the opening of the unhealing wound that was inflicted on the marriage from the beginning.

It was learned that before marriage, Prophet Iginla had informed his would-be wife that his genotype was AS and she said that hers was AA.

Based on trust, they did not go for confirmation before they went ahead with the relationship which ended up in marriage.

However, the shocker came when their first child was born and they discovered she was SS. It then done on Yemisi and she opened up and confessed that out of fear she had to lie about her genotype. The matter was settled amicably and life goes on. But it didn't end there.

Recall that some years back, Prophet Iginla testified during his birthday celebration of how God saved him from dying from poison. It later discovered that the pastor's estranged wife, Yemisi was allegedly the brain behind it. It was revealed that it was one the reasons the Prophet had to send her to the United States of America.

At this point, family members of both couples were invited and the truth about her alleged unfaithfulness was revealed to them. Prophet Iginla then pointed out that he could not continue to trust her again. He promised not to divorce her if she would consent to him having his own kids who will be his flesh and blood with another woman and she agreed.

Osho revealed that that was why she kept mum when prophetess Stella from South Africa was pregnant for Prophet Iginla four years ago.

What's your take on this?

Foreign Affairs › The Decision From Tanzania That Shocked The Whole World You Should Know by Gjrich(op): 2:53am On May 22, 2020
As indicated by an announcement sent to news rooms on Monday evening, "The Tanzanian government has formally dropped the aircraft boycott after a COVID19 transmission overview led in the nation uncovered a decrease in diseases and the quantity of patients and reestablished transportation benefits as recently detailed." Part of the announcement read.

The administration of the Democratic Republic of Tanzania has stunned the entire world in the wake of lifting travel limitations and thusly lifting the carrier boycott.

Lifting of the boycott comes considerably after World Health Organization boss Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus cautioned that nations lifting limitations to control the spread of the coronavirus chance reimposing them in the event that they don't ease them with extraordinary alert.

"The danger of coming back to lockdown stays genuine if nations don't deal with the change very cautiously and in a staged methodology," the chief general said at a coronavirus preparation in Geneva.

Health › How Africans Are Protected From Coronavirus Aside Hot Weather - Maurice Iwu by Gjrich(op): 1:46am On May 22, 2020
The President of Bioresources Development Group and a consultant pharmacognosist, Prof. Maurice Iwu, has pointed out other major factors that offer Africans some form of protection from the Coronavirus aside the hot temperatures in most parts of the continent.

“An issue is high humidity in most African countries, not just hot temperatures. Because of the density of the virus in tropical Africa, it cannot travel far. That means the recommendation of two metres of social distancing does not apply here because the virus cannot go far,” he said.

Iwu, who disclosed this to The Guardian, also raised the diet factor thus: “our food has more antioxidants. We take a lot of phytomedicines. A lot of our diets contain zinc, vitamin C and other antioxidants. People take all these on a daily basis without even thinking about it".

While explaining that there is also the social exclusion of Sub-Saharan Africa, he explained: “We are excluded from so many socio-economic activities going on in the West. The number of people who travel from just Milan to New York on a daily basis far outnumbers the air travels in most parts of Africa.

"So, the socio-economic exclusion from the global picture has protected us from the quick spread of the virus through frequent business travels and inter-continental movements.”

Iwu further cited the issue of seasonal flu vaccines common in most European and American countries, explaining that “most of these countries use flu vaccine. Once you take the flu vaccine and a new strain comes in, it will cause all the defence mechanisms to relax. This scenario makes most countries that use the flu vaccine more vulnerable to COVID-19".

Health › Why COVID-19 Patients Play, Dance In Isolation Centres — NCDC Reveals by Gjrich(op): 1:36am On May 22, 2020
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control says the fact that some coronavirus patients are seen in videos on social media playing and dancing in isolation centres does not mean they are not ill.

NCDC Director-General, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, said this on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday.

Ihekweazu said COVID-19 is an infectious disease which may not necessarily weaken infected persons the way other diseases do.

Responding to a question, he said, “I think people really need to understand why people are being put in these centres. Normally, you only go into a hospital when you’re ill, get a diagnosis, and then you are sometimes admitted if you’re very ill.

“But in this case, following the experience from other countries, we made a decision as a country to also put people in isolation centres not just because they are ill on their own but in order to stop them from transmitting this virus to others.

“When I travelled to China in late February or early March, things were put in place for these people (in quarantine), so they could exercise and dance because it is not easy to be somewhere, in isolation for three to four weeks when you are not physically ill.

“So, these are things we have to use to reassess our decisions. It is very difficult to make decisions based on one viral video. One Whatsapp video does not represent the experience of people across the country. It is very important that as leaders we are not pushed down a decision path because one video happened to go viral. Many people in these centres around the country are complying.”

The NCDC boss said the government would have liked to keep asymptomatic patients away from hospitals and rather have them self-isolate so that those who are physically ill would have enough bed spaces but said due to the complex nature of Nigeria and the population, such an approach may not work.

He stressed the need for Nigerians to take ownership of the COVID-19 response to ensure its success.

Foreign Affairs › US President Donald Trump's Son Claims Coronavirus Is A Scam by Gjrich(op): 1:22am On May 22, 2020
US president Donald Trump's son Eric Trumps allegedly stated his own theories about the coronavirus being a scam and governors undergoing some kind of conspiracy against his father during an interview on live television Fox News by Jeanine Pirro here's what Eric said

"And they think they're taking away Donald Trump's greatest tool, which is being able to go into an arena and fill it with 50 000 people every single time, right?"

"So they will and you watch. They'll milk it every single day between now and November 3,coronavirus will magically all of sudden go away and disappear and everybody will be able to reopen"

Trump's son believes governors are slowing up the reopening of states because they want to stop his father's rallies ,basically is a whole scam to make his father loose the upcoming elections

Eric believes all that's being done in America has nothing to do with the coronavirus ,the only reason they are not re-opening states any sooner is because they are out to get Trump

And you have to know that Eric Trump was doing the interview at his house,if the coronavirus is such a big scam why did he not go to the studio to do it live ?or go out and risk his live as it does not exist according to him? And his father is the president of the United states with soo much power ,he has the ability to do campaigns and rallies if he wanted to but he is not

You'd think with cases rising and people dying in numbers and the coronavirus visiting the White House they would be worried about their father's health but hell no, dad has the win the elections

Politics › NCDC, Stop Marketing Covid-19 - Yahaya Bello by Gjrich(op): 1:20pm On May 18, 2020
"Enough of this Covid-19 Nonsense. 386 new cases? We have played fool enough!!!

And you have discharged 679... What did you give to this ones you discharged?

Covid-19 is a war, and in times of war you get everyone prepared. Tell Nigerians what this ones discharged took and let everyone take it and be safe.

Is Corona more deadlier than Tuberculosis, Sars, Pneumonia, Aids?

Early detection saves the life; tell people how to boost their immune system and stop creating merchants out of Corona.

People are dying everyday for more serious ailments because they can't access hospitals. People have diabetes, kidney issues, liver issues, heart diseases, cancer, BP, labour complications, Hiv, Brain issues, Lung disease, etc, some need to go to other states to access hospital services... They are dying in numbers and no one is counting them because you are counting Corona.

We were told the symptoms of Corona are cough, catarh, difficulty in breathing, and the mortality rate is very minimal which we have seen in the results NCDC have been releasing.

These symptoms are things people have been suffering from and we have been managing them well in hospitals here in Nigeria, we have seen people with difficulties in breathing and they were treated.

Why are we marketing Corona in Nigeria?
Why are we harming ourselves intentionally?

Creating fears, hardship and tension on innocent citizens.

You promised 40,000 testing in 1 month, and this is almost 2months and you haven't tested 20,000

3000+ active cases and 679 discharged, which confirms mortality is less than 6%. Why then do you want to kill the entire country with fears.

Do you know how people struggle to survive in this country? Do you know the more hardship you are forcing on people by marketing Corona?

Now we will be forced to open our borders for importation of rice, carn foods and all sorts of junks again because we will be running out of food soon , at a time we were almost food sufficient.

Enough of this politics that NCDC is playing with our Lives.

This is the second month we Shutdown our offices with no means of livelihood, and you are just counting numbers for us daily.

Are you really concerned about our plight and survival?

First you took to every Tv and Radio station to market Coronavirus.
Every second they advertise Corona, to instil fear."

How Dokpesi Confirms Yahaya Bello & Ben Ayade's Accusation Of NCDC Forcing Covid-19 Cases On States.

Dr. Raymond Dokpesi of DAAR communication revelation about how NCDC alleged that he had Covid-19, when his test showed that he had malaria parasite in his body, upon which he was taken to an isolation centre, has only confirmed the earlier accusation by the Yahaya Bello of Kogi and Ben Ayade of Cross River that NCDC was forcing state to admit having Covid-19 cases. The two states, of Kogi and Cross River have been on a long drawn conflict, over the states' Covid-19-free status. A situation the NCDC has been uncomfortable with, and have severally voiced out their rejection of such status for the two states. This is even when NCDC have no reason to reject such claim, as there have not been reported increased sicknesses or deaths in those states.

Note that, Raymond Dokpesi was recently released from the isolation centre, and has now come out to say that, he is confused about the relationship between Covid-19 and malaria. And Dokpesi now seeks to know the difference, if any exist. His reason for this is that, the test he conducted in a reputable hospital shows that he had malaria parasite in his body. But that NCDC later tested him and claimed he had Covid-19. Interestingly, while he has the result of the test from the hospital, NCDC till date, never showed him any test result indicating their Covid-19 claim. Added to this, Dokpesi said he was given malaria medication all through his stay at the isolation centre. So, NCDC is now isolating people who tested positive for malaria as Covid-19 cases. This clearly explains why the agency continues to real out cases everyday, even of people who have never had any previous contact with a Covid-19 infected person.

This revelation adequately confirms what the Kogi state and Cross River state government have accused NCDC of doing; that the agency is forcing Covid-19 cases on states, in other to fulfill their projection of the disease spreading across all states in Nigeria. So why will NCDC, an agency who is meant to stop the spread of disease be forcing the acceptance of a none-existing spread of disease to all states? Funny enough the federal government is overlooking this huge accusation, which has led to the shutdown of the nations economy, with citizens suffering unnecessarily huge hardship.

Dokpesi is not the only one who has come out to claim NCDC did not show him the test result to confirm the agency's claim of him having Covid-19. The Lady who was taken as the first Covid-19 case in Benue, has also said similarity thing. In her case and as explained in her last revelation, she has been kept in NCDC isolation centre for 43 days, on the agency's claim that she has Covid-19, which she said is false. But without haven't taken any medication nor show any symptoms. And that it was after 15 days of her continuous asking for her test result, and when she had been moved to Abuja, that the NCDC showed her a test result that had her name, but with totally difference personal data.

She had flew into the country from the UK for her mother's burial, and she had gone to the clinic for a check due to jet-lag she suffered from the travel. According to her, the test result NCDC showed her, indicated that she flew into Nigeria on the 26th February, and went to the hospital on the 16th of march with fever and stooling. Meanwhile she only came into the country on the 22nd of March, and went to the hospital on the 24th of March to complain of body pains. Imagine this high level of conspiracy and lie against people by NCDC and some states government? Why will NCDC kept a supposed Covid-19 infected person for 43 days and there is no symptoms. Also she said NCDC have done three more test on her, without showing her the results, but she is still been kept in the isolation centre. Let's imagine the many people NCDC have claimed have Covid-19, who actually have nothing as such or only had malaria; but they have no where to air their frustration as Dokpesi and this lady have done. A large number of Nigerians may have been isolated for Covid-19 they don't have.

While everyone is eager and working to see the end to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is however satanic for the government or its agency to turn it to a venture for promoting lies and fear among people. The unnecessary lockdown that is being backed by the arguably NCDC figures of Covid-19 infection, is destroying the economy and everyone will pay for it.

Politics › Buhari’s Impostor, Jubril Is Dead – Nnamdi Kanu by Gjrich(op): 3:39pm On May 16, 2020
The impostor said to be representing President Mohammadu Buhari is dead, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB) announced.

Kanu had in several broadcast claimed that President Buhari died in 2017 in an undisclosed hospital in London after suffering yet undisclosed illness.

He maintained that the person in Aso Rock is Jubril Al Sudanese contracted by cabals to work in his capacity.

Despite Kanu’s claims, former Buhari’s ally, Buba Galadima had also insinuated that the man in the Villa is not the Buhari he used to know but said not sure if he is the same Jubril.

Though, the IPoB leader provided what he named ‘scientific evidence’ proving his claim, nothing that both height, Ear, hairs, writing position changed.

Clarifying further, Kanu said former Senate President of 8th Assembly, Bukola Saraki was never close to the same height with Buhari but surprisingly Saraki is taller.

He noted that the President who succeeded ex-president Goodluck Jonathan was, having an ear loop but never seen on Jubril.

The leader of the secessionist movement shared on his Facebook page two days in a post that attracted over two thousand comment reactions, 2000 shares including over seven thousand likes “Jubril Is Dead’.

However, Kanu had claimed that late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari was De-facto President using the impostor to cover up his ugly activities in Aso Rock.

He also revealed that both Kyari, Jubril, Adesina left for Cuba where they were being treated COVID-19 infection, unfortunately, the two could not survive it.

Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu had alleged that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been sidelined by cabals whose interest gears, towards stopping the Professor from assuming his full potential in his capacity.

He, therefore, summarized that Aso Rock is empty as no one could be in charge to address Nigerians amidst Coronavirus Pandemic spreading across the country.

He also charges the president’s handlers to disprove his claims by allowing president grant press briefing like other presidents, lead the fight on the deadly disease from the front than issuing a prerecorded video national address.

As the days are going on, the world us under the threat of the spreading coronavirus pandemic. Dissimilar Nation leaders are therefore in daily efforts to ensure that they are in a position to contain the deadly virus. This has been achieved through lockdowns and also the partial lockdowns (Curfew) for a given period of time.

In kenya the president declared a curfew that starts at 7 pm and end at 5 am, dissimilar to neighbours Uganda whose president Museveni declared a 21-day lockdown to combat further spread of the virus through personal contacts. However, in Tanzania, things are different since their president John Pombe Maghufuli declared that no activity that will be closed in the country and things should run normally like other previous days.

In reports, the madagascar president Andry Rajoelina has called on all African Countries to quit the world health organization (WHO) claiming that Europeans have bad faith towards the Africans. He said that Europe created the world health organization with the desire for africans to remain dependent on them. He further clarified that Europeans refused to acknowledge the African found Coronavirus medicine since they thinks that they are the only one who have the monopoly of intelligence.

Politics › Ibrahim Gambari: A Presidential Babysitter Won’t Be As Powerful As Abba Kyari by Gjrich(op): 12:52pm On May 15, 2020
On paper, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari’s choice as Buhari’s Chief of Staff is so far the regime’s most luminous appointment. Gambari is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most credentialed and globally visible citizens for whom the position of Chief of Staff to the President is actually a positional, even symbolic, downgrade.

Ordinarily, the office of the Chief of Staff to the President is informal, discretionary, and of no consequence. Its inconsequence is underscored by the fact that the constitution does no recognize it and does not require the president to appoint anyone to perform its duties. That was why Umar Musa Yar’adua didn’t have one.

The only reason the position of CoS to the President has become uncharacteristically visible in the last five years is that Buhari is both too cognitively incapacitated and too splendidly incompetent to function as president, so he needs a proxy or, as I pointed out in my April 22 status update, “a babysitter, a political and intellectual babysitter.”

As a military dictator, Tunde Idiagbon was Buhari’s political babysitter from 1983 to 1985. The late Salihijo Ahmad’s Afri-Projects Consortium (APC), was “the sole manager of the PTF projects,” according to Ray Ekpu’s June 5, 2018 article titled, “Petroleum Trust Fraud.” In other words, Buhari couldn’t even manage a government agency as small as the PTF without needing babysitting. Of course, most people know that since 2015 until his death, Abba Kyari was Buhari’s proxy.

Mamman Daura, on whom Buhari is intellectually and emotionally dependent, “created” Abba Kyari for Buhari but Kyari later grew into a Frankenstein that almost devoured his “creator.” Daura wants no repeat of that and sees a potentially dutiful factotum in Gambari who was Buhari’s external affairs minister from 1984 to 1985.

He seems like a person who would do a good job of concealing Buhari’s cognitive and mental infirmities from the public and from government officials, which is what the position of CoS to Buhari has now been reduced to.

Although Gambari has intimidatingly impressive academic and professional credentials, he has no reputation for lofty, high-minded principles, which explains why he would even accept this position, which relegates rather than elevates him.

He defended IBB’s ruinous invalidation of the June 12 presidential election, justified Abacha’s heartrending judicial murder of Ken Saro-Wiwa and other Ogoni activists, and, according to the New York Times of Oct. 5, 1997, opposed something as innocuous as a planned renaming of a New York street after the late Kudirat Abiola who was murdered in cold blood by Abacha’s junta, which Gambari served.

He also evinces what I call the overzealousness of the identitarian periphery, by which I mean people who are on the margins of a desired identity tend to go overboard to assert their membership of that identity in order to impress people who are rhetorically constituted as the core of that identity.

Gambari is an Ilorin prince, but his middle name (and the name by which his close family members call him) is Agboola. “Ibrahim” is just for show. Although he traces patrilineal descent from the Fulani, he is culturally (and obviously genetically) Yoruba and doesn’t look anything like a Fulani man, yet Yoruba people won’t accept him as one of them.

He’s on the geographic, symbolic, and cultural fringes of western and northern Nigerian identities, but he identifies as, and indeed is, a northerner. People who know him say he works excessively, if quietly, hard to prove his “northernness” through exaggerated subnationalist gamesmanship of the kind that someone from Kano or Sokoto with a similar educational and experiential exposure as he would find a little too extreme.

People like that are often happy and willing tools of puppeteers who come from the identity they want to be seen as central to but to which they are marginal. My sense is that he won’t be nearly as powerful and as influential as Abba Kyari was for as long as Mamman Daura is alive.

The only silver lining I see is that he probably won’t be as lazy as Abba Kyari was. Kyari was an indolent, self-absorbed presidential gatekeeper who allowed files that required urgent presidential attention to gather dust and who attended only to issues that feathered his nest.

I hope Gambari would at least bring his considerable experience to help lubricate the rusty wheels of governance even while doing the bidding of his benefactor(s).

Politics › 6 And 7 Book Of Moses- See Who Actually Wrote The Mythical Books Of Moses by Gjrich(op): 8:33pm On May 12, 2020
A review of the seventh book of Moses and the power it holds.

These books were written by ancient magicians not men of God. Magician and sorcerers who knew secrets, secrets that were probably revealed to them by beings from beyond.

The sixth and seventh book of Moses is an 18th-19th century text allegedly written by one of the Hebrew patriarch, Moses. According to those who use the book, the book was written by more and passed down as a lost book, secretly used by certain individuals, through generations.

The book is self-described as the wonderful art of the old Hebrews, taken from the mosaic book of the Kabbalah and the Talmud. The book actually contains several magical incantations and seals that could apparently help the ready perform the miracles recorded in the Bible, it also claims to grant it readers goodwill, good fortune, and good health.

The book coins ideograms or drawings and seals that help the reader perform several tasks like controlling the weather, necromancy (contacting the dead, including old biblical figures), and even down to controlling people.

The book became widely known when the printing press aided ts spread in the 18th century Germany. It eventually went from an inexpensive pamphlet to a book spreading like a wildfire across the united states, Caribbean, and the anglophone African nations. In fact, it quickly gained such relevance in West Africa in the early 20th century.

Make no mistake, this book actually contains secrets, secrets that shouldn't be at the hands of an ordinary man. I can recall a secret my mother told me about this book. In her story, "A man who wanted more power or was simply driven by curiosity, got this book and went up to the church tower. After a few minutes, my mother said the church began to feel as though it is shaking and it immediately felt like there was presence up in the tower with the man. However, what she says every time she tells this story, is the pathetic ending.
She always ends the story with how pathetic and miserable the man currently is. It seems as though the man lost his mental balance.

People in the late 20th century in west Africa became obsessed with the idea of power. Most of them saw an opportunity to become powerful and to commune with spirits and angels. It's not clear if the angels they claim to summon are angels of light. But one thing is clear, even the devil can disguise himself as an angel of light.

Men have grown and become in touch with darkness from these, some have got so knowledgeable up to the tipping point. Some have lost their mental balance communing with " darkness". I read a few chapters of the book myself before I put a stop to it and I know that the book simply cannot be fake. The way I felt whilst reading down to the names and ideograms in its pages.

Nonetheless, it gets interesting to listen to justifications for using such a book. People often say- "Since the book was written by Moses, then it probably means we are all, owed to use it". Well, that's the lie in the pool of lies. This wasn't written by Moses. In fact, there is no evidence, none whatsoever, linking this book to Moses.

In the Bible that I know, I don't know about yours, the miracle performed by God through Moses didn't take a long process of adding one to one, it simply took listening and immediately doing. I never got information that pointed to the fact that most communed with angels or perhaps I should say, that any evidence of him summoning them.

The seventh book of Moses was by Johann Scheibel (1736-1809). The book was published in Stuttgart Germany in 1849. So you see, the book actually originated in Germany in the 17th century. Although some scholars are currently drawing links between the Eight books of Moses found in papyrus, like it's predecessors, the book is also linked to magical content.

I must add that no author was given in the publications but the association to Moses was gotten from the name of the book. However, as I have previously established, there is no publication beyond the time Johann Scheibel which leads me to the conclusion that he might have written the book.

The printed texts of The Sixth and Seven Books of Moses (from 1849) combine two purportedly lost short Biblical texts with several contemporary essays and half a dozen purported writings of those who kept this knowledge and practiced its use through history, dated from Biblical times to the 17th Century. These works attempt to paint a portrait of secret knowledge which Moses was given by God, and then handed down father to son until King Solomon, when it was handed to Priests, and finally, Talmudic scholars. In Christian circles, the text appealed to the same authority as did Biblical Apocrypha: Biblical texts outside the current Biblical canon.

Containing numerous allegedly magical spells used to summon spirits to do the will of the conjurer, the books are attributed to works in which Moses sets forth the magic which enabled him to defeat the magicians of Egypt, part the Red Sea, and perform the acts attributed to him in the Old Testament.[11] Although these are allegedly Kabbalistic in nature, there is very little or no influence of Kabbala within the pages. Most texts are reputed to be Hebrew, passed to the editors through European Talmudic scholars or Christian Medieval ecclesiastics who were privy to secret Biblical texts. Some of the texts are allegedly translated from a text written by Canaanite magicians and keepers of the Samaritan Pentateuch in the "Cuthan-Samaritan language", a language considered extinct since the 12th century.

Politics › Covid-19 Return To China,' Yahaya Bello Says COVID-19 Isn't Nigeria's Priority by Gjrich(op): 10:36pm On May 09, 2020
Yahaya Bello believes Nigerian leaders have paid too much attention to the coronavirus disease.

Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, says Nigerian leaders are shifting priorities in their response to the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country.
Nigeria has recorded 3,526 coronavirus cases in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, as of May 7, 2020.

President Muhammadu Buhari last week announced nationwide measures that include a ban on interstate travelling, compulsory use of face masks, overnight curfew, as well as other preventive measures to combat the spread of the disease.

Many other state governments have also completely shut down social and economic activities at one point or the other since Nigeria recorded its index case on February 27.

Cross River and Bello's Kogi are the only two states in the country yet to record cases, but authorities have expressed fears that it might be because the governments of both states are not taking it seriously enough.

Bello and Cross River's Governor Ben Ayade have been vocal about their displeasure with the response of the Federal Government and other state governments.

A delegation of officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) was this week deployed to Kogi to assess the state's response.

However, while addressing the delegation on Thursday, May 7, Bello intensified his rebuke of political leaders, health officials, and the media in their reaction to the outbreak.

He said too much panic and fears have been spread about COVID-19 as if it was the end of the world.

The 44-year-old said the disease is being massively marketed everywhere in the media while shifting priorities from other important things.

"There are so many merchants now marketing COVID-19 as if that is our priority.

"Our struggling economy that Mr President is trying to revive, we're further killing it," the governor said.

He said his government has done its best to make sure it did not spread panic about the outbreak, and claimed that death rate has dropped drastically during the period of the pandemic because he provided 'that leadership'.

However, he lamented that the state's ability to generate revenue has been badly-hit by the heavy-handed response of other governments of surrounding states.

Bello further claimed that he has thoroughly educated himself about the coronavirus, a novel disease, and that its symptoms are nothing new.

"Is this the first time we're having these kinds of symptoms in Nigeria?

"Haven't we been living with it and teaching ourselves and moving on?" he questioned the officials.

Bello also accused the NCDC and the World Health Organisation (WHO) of verbally increasing the mortality rate of the coronavirus disease to create panic.

He said Nigeria has lost fewer people to COVID-19 (107 deaths, as of May 7) than to other problems like Boko Haram terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, cattle rustlers, road accidents, hunger, malaria, heart attack, child mortality, and Lassa fever.

He further bizarrely called on Nigerians to be 'courageous enough' to tell the disease to return to China, where it was first detected in December 2019.

He said, "We should be courageous enough to say that COVID-19 has no space in Nigeria.

"Not by taking samples. You have over 2,000 across the country, what are you doing with them?

"You have released over 400 or 500, what did you use in treating them that cannot be publicised because we call it a war?

"During war, every solution is needed. You don't leave your people to be consumed by the war."

The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, announced on Friday, May 8 that the team has returned to Abuja without accomplishing its mission.

Reports had previously indicated Bello ordered that the officials be quarantined for 14 days at an isolation centre.

"New efforts will be made to engage Kogi State authorities for resolution of the differences," Ehanire said.

The highly infectious coronavirus disease has infected over 3.9 million people across the world in five months, killing over 271,000.
