Pls it's OK. As much as I feel babies deserve breastmilk and/formula in the very early months... I also ask what those babies in the olden days whose mothers couldn't breastfeed or whose mothers died in childbirth, ate? .. What did these babies eat? There was no formula then o. Let's even say a convenient wet nurse wasn't available too as at the time, is it not pap they will give the baby? :-

Maybe babies of those days were tougher sha and God may have protected them as there wasn't formula then.
It is well. My point is nobody has a monopoly of knowledge. You all may be right in your own way because of what worked or didn't work for you. E don do.

Darling well woman is worse than pregnancare. Wellwoman has evening primrose. Evening primrose will grow her fibroids very fast if she decides to take it. I always ask people with fibroids or estrogen dominance ailments to stay away from evening primrose. Pregnancare Conception is far better because it is focused on conception. Most fertility clinic gives pregnancare conception (not well woman) together with other medication to prepare a woman for ivf. Some women get pregnant before ivf because those medications help in solving the problems of their not conceiving.

Most/almost all fertility treatment drugs will increase estrogen which will increase fibroid. And she needs treatment to get pregnant since she is not getting pregnant on her own. The food we eat increase fibroids. Food like eggs, yams, okra, milk, soya drinks or oils and so many more. So you cant not entirely stop fibroids from growing per say. If she doesn't treat herself and still does not conceive, with time the fibroids will still grow big. Her primary aim is to conceive.

So my suggestion is that she should get whatever treatment that will make her get pregnant on time in the next six months to a year. If she doesn't get pregnant and the fibroids grows to the extent of hindering conception after a year, then she can plan to remove it then. But for now, she needs to treat herself fast to help her conceive quickly.

Ok mama. Thanks. God will continue to help us. Wellwoman worked better for me and didn't increase my cysts unlike pregnacare conception that did. Maybe na my body o or it's cos it was cysts.

Shibazz Congrats. Pls today today endeavor to go and meet the new doc for medicine to prevent miscarriage. It must include progesterone. It's necessary as you have been taking the ones to induce your period unknowingly.

The first doctor didn't try by giving you those medications without pregnancy tests. Some private hospitals are too stingy. Common pregnancy tests. I actually encountered one that asked me if my spittle was white as a way to test for pregnancy on the spot when I insisted they give me a pregnancy test before I take their injection. Very selfish. I had to open a private card separate from my HMO card and pay for a pregnancy test too that day just to be on the safe side.
That's why we women need to take responsibility for ourselves. You have a right to always know the name or at least the purpose of whatever you are given as drugs or injections. It's your money. It's your body. Please insist or go elsewhere.

If the second doctor is a private doctor, she will answer you. It's money they are all seeking so don't mind appointment. It's an emergency now so go to her. All the best.

Thank you very much. My tubes are open, my menstruation regular. I have no cyst or fibroid Andy I'm still quite young. 27 to be precise.
It's just the hormones high fsh, high Lh and high prolactin. Though like I stated earlier, they are within range but tilted towards the upper limit. My hubby has low sperm count but he's been placed on drugs.
Please what is WIDD and where should I search to get it.

Ok. Great that you're working on some of the few existing issues. Take a little more time to work on the prolactin (I heard it hinders conception though I didn't have this issue. Get appropriate medication for it from your doc) and the few others if you can. Then prayerfully go for whatever procedure you choose. You don't have issues that warrant IVF from what you wrote. I would recommend IUI at once if you have the means because of the sperm count stuff. With IUI, all the sperm parameters are improved after treating/ 'washing' the sperm so chances are higher than in Ovulation induction only.

WIDD stands for What I Did Differently. It's a term we use here to say the things we did that contributed to helping us conceive. Mine can be found in my first few posts. then add coconut and blend with water n filter.
Now u filter into iceblock for preservation else it will get spoilt as its hitting d ground.

Wash like u want to prepare moimoi and mak sure everY peel and black eye is removed so baby doesnt purge
Boil your titus fish and liver
Debone the fish and peel d nylon looking stuff off the liver
Use pressure pot to cook the beans, fish n liver after putting a spoon of oil.
Wen well cooked, blend and bring to boil again
Wen cold, serve in small small portions and freeze.
The constitency wont be too thick. Cos at a point my madam was using bottles

Plaintain
Unripe plantain. Bring to boil after adding carrot
Deboned fish, liver n snail
Blend all
Freeze after serving in smaller portions

Sweet potato is same as plantain

Rice
I bought already grounded rice for baby
But mumsy used ofada rice, picked it fir stone n used d dry mill to grind
Brought to boil after washing with carrots and some veggies
Blended all again with boiled fish, liver n snail.
Same cooking then serving then freezin

She has also asked i do meatpie mix and serve her
Not too much just one or two meals

Now in all of this. No spice or salt. Says d fish n liver is enough salt

If you are moving towards or you're already in your ovulation period, the water should be a good sign na. Abi it's not smelling. Is watery cervical mucus not a sign of ovulation again? Except you feel it's something else. I would say you start baby dancing immediately every other day at least till after ovulation. Stop when you're sure ovulation has passed. Baby dust.

I see that you gladly give robust responses to questions. Thank you for all you do, sparing your time so generously to attend to people's issues.

I had high FSH and high LH too just before my IUI cycle. Time was too short to do anything much about it (not that I even knew what to take or do and doc said there was nothing he could give me for it at that time). So I concentrated on preparing my body, unblocking my then partially blocked tube (too important for natural conception, timed intercourse and IUI), and asking God for mercy/success.

Are your tubes open? Is your hubby's sperm count reasonable or average? If your answers to the above are yes and you don't have serious fibroids or ovarian cysts, you may choose to try timed intercourse with ovulation induction and trigger first. Then IUI second if the first doesn't work.
If your answers are no and age isn't on your side, save and go for IVF.

Go through my WIDD and see which ones you can do. They are tailored for those going for ovulation induction or IUI. IVF candidates may need more preparation. They are not much but they really helped. Add plenty prayers and faith. God will do it.

I bought already grounded packaged mixture of both and added little to warm water to drink every morning an hour before food /on empty stomach.

But you can grate both, put into hot water, leave for some time and sieve out. Then drink the sieved water.
I doubt cutting up only will fully bring out all the juice.

I saw this in a fertility group so I felt it can be an answer to a mama's prayer since they r all natural.

Ginger and garlic worked wonders for me. Before now, I use to see my period on 21/23 day circle, but when I started drinking ginger and garlic, mix in hot water during and after my period, it normalize my period to 28day circle.
Secondly, last month, I saw my period on the 5th of August, 2019. Immediately after my period, I drank cinnamon together with baking soda in hot water for 2days. Two days before my ovulation, I repeated it, and, met with my husband on 14th.
My period was late for 6days, and I was feeling menstruation signs but there was no messes. I did pregnancy test on Tuesday, both urine/blood test are positive.
So drinking Ginger and Garlic, during and after period works wonders. And drinking Cinnamon/Baking Soda (bicarbonate of soda) immediately after period, and towards ovulation, helps to prepare our body for conception.
I have been trying to conceive since 9months ago.

I can vouch for ginger and garlic in warm water cos it worked for me. I took it everyday throughout my period and ovulation to bfp. I stopped after bfp. It flushes the system and helps fertility generally.
Baby dust to mommas. Don't give up. It will come to pass. Keep trying. Keep hoping.

I don't think you need the artificial vitamin C anymore since you are pregnant now. I would take oranges instead in pregnancy if it's me. Too much artificial vit C can cause miscarriage or bring on period from my little research then. Don't take my word for it. Find out for yourself Pls. It is well.

Check out the other drugs given to you to be sure you should still be taking some of them in pregnancy. Some are to be slowly weaned off after some time. Just keep in touch with your doctor for good management.

In pregnancy, the lesser the drugs...the better for you... With the exception of progesterone and pregnancy routine drugs/supplements. Your case may be different though.

Please I have a question. I saw my period on the 23rd of August(Friday)and on the 26th of August(Monday) I was vomiting and felt very weak. Went to the hospital and they ran full blood count test, malaria test and pregnancy test. The next day the doctor told me full blood count test and malaria test was okay but the pregnancy test is inconclusive and I have to repeat the test after 2 weeks.
Please what makes a pregnancy test inconclusive?

While waiting for a repeat pregnancy test, if you're trying for a baby...don't take any medication ooo. Not even paracetamol. No pepper soup or herbs etc for now. Take a break from strenuous activities for now. All till you know what's up. You won't lose your blessing before you even know it's there. Fingers crossed its a bfp.

I have been trying for a year now with Dh and i went for scan which i later got to find out that i have subserosal fibroid of 36×44mm and retroverted uterus.
Please how does this affect my chance of getting pregnant as i don't know what to do with this result

Please help me with suggestions.Must i go for surgery?Can i shrink the fibroid or can i get pregnant with it?I am 25 years old and i never thought it could be fibroid.I am so depressed.

No need for depression, dear. The fibroid is not that big in my opinion. Just don't do or take things that will cause it to grow and multiply. Avoid self medication and herbs. Just go straight to a good hospital or fertility clinic for them to manage you and try to get you pregnant as soon as possible. Avoid pregnacare conception, fertilaid and most fertility supplements for now. They will only increase the fibroid cos of the inositol and plenty 'ogbonge' ingredients in them. Inositol is natural clomid and best for women who do not have cysts/fibroids or who have removed theirs . The only one I recommend to those with fibroid is well woman Original. I took it before conceiving. You need simple stuffs now or none at all except recommended. I think Wellwoman plus is OK too. Just check to be sure it doesn't contain inositol or ingredients that feed fibroid. Read up on fibroid growers and avoid or reduce them for now. Even some foods feed fibroid.

My advice is to just identify a good hospital and work with them while praying and hoping on God. Don't bother trying different different things so you don't increase the fibroid and waste money. N no need for operation. You can conceive with that size I should think. Just be fast about it with God's help cos they also grow with time. Above all, don't be afraid. Get informed, get going, continue praying.

Its just a food supplement that contains all the vitamins...
One should also eat well, i mean balanced diet and lots of fruits and water then you are good to go. These, i want to believe would make babys skin healthy and beautiful however dont just base your conclusion on this because there are other factors to be considered.

1) YOU and hubby still have to contribute your quotas to babys beauty o (no go take pregncare finish come dey await Americana)

2) above all, pray for beautiful children even before conception, it works ...

Please take your normal routine drugs. My mum told me how the company was sued in USA on the grounds that it causes miscarriage. I was preggy last year, they gave me routine drugs at the clinic. I went to buy pregnacare at 4500 and abandoned the drugs hospital gave me thinking it's just one one naira tablets and not any good. I was taking the pregnacare yet I lost the baby at 9 weeks. This time around my gynae advised I stick to the routine drugs they give me cos some of ....

Sweet mama , if I may suggest. Change your container packaging if you can. Get fine modern containers. Pls don't be angry. Just an observation that may help bring in even more customers.

Eyaa. Let her try to eat little at a time. Once she starts feeling nauseous or getting a bit filled up, she should stop eating till another time. Let that one digest first. She shouldn't force herself to finish food or continue eating. Water can also be taken little at a time. Then if she can, let her brush very early in the morning when there's no food in her so she would not throw up the food as brushing brings on vomiting for some. Or she can brush later in the day or night long after eating n the food has long digested. She can also be eating foods she likes no matter what. If it's fried plantains and yams o like me, it's good. Look for what she can tolerate and let her eat it often. This was how I coped though mine wasn't as severe as 50%. Things are better now in my 2nd trimester.

If all these fails or doesn't help, don't hesitate to consult with her doctor for an appropriate drug to suppress the vomiting or/and intravenous drips for strength. Baby and her has to eat no matter how. It is well.
