ono: After the terrible ordeal I went through earlier this year in the hands of loved ones, I sought for ways to have peace with myself and them. So far, it has been futile. But yesterday, the daily verse from the Bible site I read was about forgiving our enemies.

''But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you'' - Luke 6:27.

I was dumbfounded by that verse of the Scripture. For a while, I couldn't think straight. If the Lord had not rescued me from the hands of those people, I probably would be dead meat by now. How is it then that the Lord commanded us to do this? - maybe he wants us to just want him fighting ALL our battles.

Then, I typed the words: ''how to love your enemies'' into google search engine, and several sites popped out - as usual. But I picked this particular one, because after reading through (it's very long but interesting), I got some direction on how to go about it. And it was a sermon on the topic by the famous American Baptist Pastor, Martin Luther King. Now on a second thought, I decided to share with folks on this board. Happy reading - if you can!

born2lead01: OAU Moves to Reform e-Learning

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife is strategising to reform e-learning as next paradigm shift in 21st century education, following the launch of its Centre of Excellence in software engineering recently at the University.

The centre, which was supported by Step-B/World Bank with a grant of $5.6 million has the following facilities: Internet access laboratory, software studio, cloud computing centre, Telepresence, hardware design and software engineering laboratories respectively.

The Nigerian Skye Bank also supported the project with a building worth N180 million. The facility which is the first of its kind, has the capacity to accommodate about 1200 students per use.

The establishment of the centre of excellence in software engineering is expected to solve the challenges of training Science and Technology teachers in the 21st century.


If fully utilised the centre is also expected to address paucity of educational software that utilises teaching aids such as simulation, animations and graphics for teaching and learning of science and technology post basic courses.


Unveiling the centre recently , the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Bamitale Omole, told the gathering that the major mission of the University with respect to Information and Communications Technology (ICT), as documented in the Strategic Plan (2010-2015), was to run a cost efficient and effective academic programmes and institutional management. He said with the facilities at the centre, teachers and students could interact seamlessly without having to be together in the traditional classroom environment.

With most Universities embracing e- learning globally with modern technologies, he disclosed that the mission was to develop ICT to a level such that it would serve as backbone of the university’s development strategy in teaching, curriculum development, innovation, research, administration and service.

During the tour of the facilities within the Centre, Head of Department, Computer Science, Prof. Adesola Aderounmu, who doubles as the Vice President, Nigeria Compute Society (NCS), explained that the centre would create enabling environment for imparting knowledge in science and technology using ICT driven, participatory and student centre teaching and learning approaches.

According to him, the goal of the centre was to develop the required local science and technology human resources for the nation's post basic institutions with built-in functional ICT capacity. Explaining further the benefits of the facilities, he said the telepresence had been equipped with Huawei TP3118 product, which is tri-screen telepresence system with one row of conference tables seating eighteen participants.

This, he said, would bring people together in a best ever virtual meeting experience. "Synergy between people creates value, reduces cost and help to stay ahead of competition. Lecture delivery to large class and web conferencing are some of the advantages of using the facilities", Aderounmu said.

According to him, the Cloud Computing environment consists of 7.7 TB cloud server for applications and operating systems and cloud storage of 96TB with 500 virtual terminals. With CaaS as one of the services deployed in the OAU cloud, he added that web conferencing, video communication services, emails among others, would help the academic community in e-learning environment.

A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the University and Chams Plc on technical partnership for development of software applications and solutions.

As a way of ensuring implementation of the memorandum, OAU shall make available office space and work area for the project coordinators and group developers within the university premises while Chams shall provide necessary tools for every developer on the team.

Evangelist Funmilayo was a high level satanic agent, who destroyed even great ministers of God and other people as well, promoted to the highest level in the demonic world - 999 realm, and held meeting with the devil for many years. In fact, her confession opened my eyes and heart for holiness within and without (dressing). In her ministration and confessions, she reveals the secrets behind almost everything she, the devil and other agents of darkness have done to pollute this world and there is a covenant behind everything that the devil and the queen of the coast have given to the world for beauty. She said that relaxer was made in deep sea as well as weave-on (which becomes a snake on the owner's head when the person dies) - artificial hair and trousers (pant as white people call it) was her idea and designed as part of her assignment to pollute the Christendom, and she used Deuteronomy 22:5.

Knowing God hates this, they created it in the demonic world of the 999 realm before launching it to the world to make women disobey and annoy God, that jewelry is an idol and that any of these things a person using them is using devil's property, and can't enter heaven either in rapture or after death! (from time to time God willing, I will be sharing some of her confessions).

THE STORY
She was invited to a particular church in Lagos, Nigeria to minister in a programme. The church was a worldly church, were they dress the way they like with women wearing trousers and artificial hair.
The pastor's wife was also involved in the dressing as well as the choristers. There was a fashion designer and beautician woman in the church, who usually make their hair and buy these things for them, thinking she was making a good contribution to God and she was a very close and good friend to the pastor's wife.

So, when Evangelist Funmilayo preached against wordly dressing, this woman interrupted her and told her to stop such evil message, that nothing was wrong with this way they dressed in the church.
Evangelist Funmilayo said she asked the Holy Spirit to continue from where she stopped, and left without any stipend from the church to transport herself, since they didn't like the message, so no money to assist and she didn't have any money. She had to walk a long distance to her house.

After some time the pastor's wife died. Sometime later, this woman who interrupted Evangelist Funmilayo, had a dream. In that dream, a demon was leading her into hell. She tried to resist, but the demon told her she belongs there i.e she belonged to hell. So, she was led to a part of hell, where she saw the pastor's wife. There were chairs arranged in that place with all their names written on it according to how they used these things and apparently, the pastor's wife has taken her seat, waiting for the choristers and other women to come join her.

She saw her seat, the hair of the pastor's wife had already turned to snakes biting her, and the fire burning her. The pastor's wife told her she must come and experience the suffering (not recognizing whether they were friends on earth or not because of the torture of hell) because, she was the cause of her being there.
It was in the midst of this revelation that she woke up! She went to the kitchen and used kitchen knife to barb or shave or cut her hair out of the fear of what she has just experienced.

She went to the church like a mad woman, moving towards the altar, the pastor told people to hold her, but she manoeuvre her way and grabbed the microphone on the altar. She began to narrate her experience, and before she could finished, all the female members and choristers have filled the waste basket with their fake hair, and fully repented of their sins on learning about where the pastor's wife ended up because of these things. Seeing the woman bringing the things to them a changed person, they equally changed too.

After two years of her first visit to that church before their encounter, she was later invited to the church, so she was thinking of how to bombard them with the message because of what they first did to her but, on getting there, she was surprised and asking if this is the same church she came to minister earlier (the women now covering their hair, wearing turtle neck and dressed even holier than she who has been preaching holiness). So, they told her she was not invited to come and preach but, to come and see what God has done in their lives through her.

Moral of the testimony:
God is no respecter of persons. He had to sacrifice the pastor's wife to save an entire church.
WILL YOU BE THE NEXT PERSON TO BE SEEN IN HELL FOR OTHERS TO REPENT AND STOP USING THESE THINGS? Begin to repent and pray for yourself now and take them off (if as a christian you still use them thinking it doesn't matter).

One time when the Lord appeared to me in a vision, I asked Him about one of my loved ones who failed to receive healing and had to have a very serious operation. In the vision, Jesus was talking to me about something else, and then I asked Him about my loved one. I had prayed so earnestly and used all the faith I had for this family member. I asked Jesus, "Why did she not receive healing and have to have this operation?"

She was a born again, Spirit-filled, very consecrated, dedicated Christian. The Lord Jesus said to me: "That's between Me and her. It isn't any of your business." I mean, He was just as plain as could be about it. He said, "It isn't any of your business." You see, we're always going around trying to tend to somebody else's business. But the Lord said, "It is My business and her business, not yours." Then Jesus said to me: "Did you ever read in My Word where it said, 'The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever . . . ' ? " I said, "Yes, that's Deuteronomy 29:29."

"Well," He said, "why your family member didn't get healed is a secret between Me and her. If I'd wanted you to know, I would have told you. And if I don't tell you, just don't even think about it. Don't even touch it in your thought life. "But what's revealed to you, you preach. Go ahead and preach healing just like you're preaching it because it's right. But if people don't get healed, don't even think about it. Don't even touch it in thought life. It isn't any of your business. You're not healing them anyway; you're just preaching it." Since then, I don't even think about it when folks don't get healed. That's what the Lord told me to do, so that's what I do. (Kenneth Hagin)

Are You Jesus?

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."1

Some time ago I read how "a group of salesmen went to a regional sales convention in Chicago. They had assured their wives that they would be home in plenty of time for Friday night's dinner. In their rush, with tickets and briefcases, one of these salesmen inadvertently kicked over a table which held a display of apples. Apples flew everywhere. Without stopping or looking back, they all managed to reach the plane in time for their nearly missed boarding.

"All but one…. He paused, took a deep breath, and experienced a twinge of compassion for the girl whose apple stand had been overturned.

"He told his buddies to go on without him, told one of them to call his wife when they arrived at their home destination and explain his taking a later flight. Then he returned to the terminal where the apples were all over the terminal floor.

"He was glad he did.

"The 16-year-old girl was totally blind! She was softly crying, and helplessly groping for her spilled produce as the crowd swirled about her, no one stopping and no one to care for her plight.

"The salesman knelt on the floor with her, gathered up the apples, put them back on the table and helped organize her display. As he did this he noticed that many of them had become battered and bruised; these he set aside in another basket.

"When he had finished, he pulled out his wallet and said to the girl, "Here, please take this $40 for the damage we did. Are you okay?" She nodded through her tears. He continued on with, "I hope we didn't spoil your day too badly."

"As the salesman started to walk away, the bewildered blind girl called out to him, 'Mister….' He paused and turned to look back into those blind eyes. She continued, 'Are you Jesus?'

"He stopped in mid-stride, and he wondered. Then slowly he made his way to catch the later flight with that question burning in his soul: 'Are you Jesus?'"2

Suggested prayer: "Dear God, I am available, please use me to be 'as Jesus' in some way today to every life I touch, and grant that they, seeing Jesus in me, will want you for themselves. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully in Jesus' name, amen."
