Hello guys,
please any ideas on getting good and affordable leather gloves? Location? Prices
This weather is dealing with me and I stupidly failed to take advantage of black friday sales.

provider.

I don't know if this is the case with other schools, but in UW System, text books charges are added to your total bill so at the beginning of semester, you can just check out all your textbooks and return them at the end of the semester.
Yeske. On, Wisconsin!

I honestly have no idea of what access code is. Is it like some ID?

Textbooks for here na die o.
I wanna buy a textbook maybe before weekend
Used one is $65
New $100
I guess you'd need a new one to get the access code.
Check Amazon
Use the library. You can checkout books for the whole semester. If you can't get the books in your school library, ask about interlibrary loans from other schools. Have a great Fall.

Bro., welcome to the State of Wisconsin - America's Dairyland. You will love it. Stout is also a great school in the University of Wisconsin system. I don't know much about Menomonie, but my guess is that you will have a great time there. Anytime you want to breeze into Madison, don't hesitate to let me know. On, Wisconsin!

Blocking their website is a bad tactics to me, these guys give out informations (clues) about their attacks before they strike, so why blocking their website? Why not try tracking it source? Since the NDA is invicible, tracking the origin of their website and who created it and the location it is, is a good way to start knowing them, not closing it down.
This is why I always tell folks that the problem with Nigeria is that we are being led by unintelligent guys. Nigeria is unfortunate to have a medieval leader like PMB.

Imagine a country where Dino and co are lawmakers.

And Forget the "Prof." before "Osinbajo", those guys don't have any clue about how 21st century governance works.

Only if we had smart guys in government. Not even the used-to-be critics like the Omojuwas, and Ogunlesis (the commercializers of privilege) of our time, who are just hustlers like most of us --- trying to put food on the table.

We need help -- a revolution driven by a clearheaded masses. God!

Oga Justwise, calm down. We know you are doing a great job here.

But on this, that was an abuse of power. OjaP didn't violate any of the Nairaland rules. None. Simply put, you hid his post beacause he mentioned SirRiddy in it. With that, you went a bit too far.

You owe him an apology.

Greetings all
I got admission in a school in Texas to study bsc nursing, and I already have a bsc in biology edu

I was advised to say that my highest educational qualification is SSCE. Reason being that the school is a community college and it will be absurd to say you are going for a second degree

I want to know how possible it will be for a 24 yrs old not to have gone to school after 8yrs(ssce)??

How do I co relate the gaps since 2008 I wrote waec?

Is there anything wrong with the community colleges??

Pls someone should answer me. Will submit my ds 160 form tomorrow. .
Why do you have to lie? Apparently, trying to lie will complicate your situation more than you want to think.

If I were you, I will be truthful. Just be truthful and communicate your thoughts intelligently during your interview. Do not lie! Best wishes.

In DS-160 there is a question: "Who is paying for your US trip?" I have a fully funded Phd offer, so should I fill self funded or university's name?

Do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents, in the United States? I have my elder brother in CA. He is a citizen. Should I answer Yes? I just wanted to truthful as I can.

Please Advice.. Thanks
This is an issue of simple English, bro. Paying for your trip? Of course, you. Paying for your study? Your school.

I greet all house members.
Visa approved on Friday 20th, May, 2016. All glory to God
This is one of the silent followers of the threads. I salute all the Legends in the house and every other house member. God bless you all.
Transcript goes thus:!

Ones again I sincerely appreciate all house member and pray for favour for those planning for their interview.

please your advice is still highly welcome:
1. if you are in the sch (MSU) or you know anybody their,
2. flight fee info
3. to and fro or just going
4. any use info.
Congrats, sir. I'm not in East Lansing, but I'm kind of familiar with MI. MSU is a great school. East Lansing is a beautiful college town. Could get cold a bit during winter, but not like the cold will be unprecedented. smiley You will be fine.

Flights fares are unpredictable. Just have enough to get you to where you are going. God will provide.

Book your flight to O'Hare in Chicago and connect to East Lansing.

Also, consider boarding the train from Union Station in Chicago to East Lansing, Michigan; or using Megabus. If you want to use bus, I like to think there is a departure point somewhere around O'Hare. You should look up more info on the Internet.

Route your itinerary to Chicago. It would be your most convenient, and probably cost-effective, route. Good luck as you are about starting the journey, God bless.

I have studied America for a while. Most people in positions of power n success always know how to mesmerize n even cajole people with words. Steve Jobs, trump (hate him or like him), Obama, the Clinton's... Forget d money, degree, or military training; it all boils than to how well u can talk. That society can be easily swayed by good speech.
The rhetorical strategies/maneuvering or those people are enviable! smiley

Rhetoric is very important. However, it's not only in America. It's everywhere. Smart countries and individuals know the importance of paying attention to the rhetoric that defines them. Everything is rhetorical. Powerful countries, corporations and individuals invest massively in rhetorical activities -- verbal or non-verbal: visual, written, etc. -- that define them.

But, of course, we still have a long way to go in Nigeria. For instance, many of our leaders just(!) talk. A recent example? How President Buhari engaged the "fantastically corrupt" labeling. His engagement proved that he doesn't understand the ethos that informs national identity (re)construction. I wish he knew he lacks a working media/communication team. smiley

More than we want to accept, rhetoric plays crucial roles in defining the human space. An important trait which unifies many of the makers/shapers of human civilization is that they are/were great rhetors. Individuals and countries.

So the journey that started on this platform about two years ago was consolidated with a visa approval at the Lagos consulate this morning, the 23rd of May. I would have dropped my transcript earlier but I could not since I am still serving a ban for adding people to the Facebook group justwise warned me against on several occasions. I sincerely apologize and accept responsibility for my actions which were not deliberate.

Warriboy21, how is it going? You good? smiley

Make we reason abeg:

Wanted to ask you a question: what do you gain by shading slimmy2015 at every opportunity? By so doing, don't you know you are also committing the sin you accused him of: being vainglorious and childlike.

I am aware you guys have [serious] issues, but trust me, you gain nothing by trying to make him look like a bad guy. Of course, I won't tell you slimmy2015 hasn't done anything wrong, far from it. His wrongdoings are what have given you enough reasons to be taking jibes at him. But today, he showed class! Therefore, it is only wise that you stop.

Note, I am not taking any side; you both are great folks. Slimmy2015 is a wonderful friend. We came to this thread almost at the same time. Likewise you ― you are also an awesome guy. You add some peculiar and indescribable flavor to this thread, and your zeal ― which was evident right from when you just came here ― says only one thing about you: you are running with a purpose. So, apparently, you are worth more than your now-becoming-habitual shades at slimmy. By demeaning him, you are [unknowingly] demeaning yourself.

All I am saying is that you guys should move on and start learning how to treat and address one another and other members of this thread with respect.

REMEMBER:
“You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.”
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
―Ernest Hemingway

Lately, I find it hard to believe many of these so-called 'celebrities' think. At best, most of them act as teenagers; and at worst, toddlers. They are too base. Why sensationalize an issue you could have handled maturely? Why must they create a spectacle out of everything? Ha! Only if they knew the impact such publicity could have on their children.
