That does not excuse the fact that is one of the causative factor of rape...if we want to solve problems effectively...we should go into root causes not birthed causes from the root.

They should give their life to christ and stop attending a male's house alone or better still don't go to a male's house, meet somewhere open.

And they should also stop wearing sexually provocative dresses.

This issues are pertinent.
Prevention is better than cure, you should be telling them how to prevent them more...
You need to leave Nigeria... So you would know what "provocative dressing" ishuh huh

My grandmother did that too, funny stuff.

The python (reptile) is an animal who like other snakes has a very poor ability to hear sounds. That's why it relies on the pit on top of its nose to detect changes in temperature in other to catch prey (they are cold-blooded and prey mostly on warm blooded animals).

Its trademark fork-like tongue is also used to taste the atmosphere for the scent of its prey.

Assuming it hears well, it doesn't understand human voices.

The python moved away after a few raps because it elected to. Its safer for it not to get injured and die from its injuries.
I just did small researched on pythons...

They don't attack HUMANS unless they are startled or provoked....

I like the fact that these people are preserving this beautiful specie of snake for the next generations. Many animals are going extinct now due to aggressive urbanization. Thanks to this superstition, we get to have healthy specie of python around for a long time.

Pythons of that size are actually harmless and peaceful. Next time you might want to experiment or have fun by going to market to buy a live mouse or hare, and lock it up in confinement with the python. You would watch the beauty of nature in a python feeding live. The speed it curls itself round the hare, and the patience it swallows it slowly. Take a few snap shots. Keep them in your archive. Life is beautiful. But the hare will be swearing for you sha for what you just did to it.

Goodluck.

They came to colonise us and are still colonising us, stealing from us, killing our people.

Shouldn't that be annoying to you people?
Don't you see this world is fashioned in such a way to put the blacks behind?
Can't we all see behind the aids they give us?
What is wrong with Africa?
Why praise an oppressor?
We need to start being objective, and let's tackle our problems head on.

You need to understand the difference between the states. Imolites are largely igbos who are businessmen. Benue state has a lot of farmers...the farm a lot. The truth is, most of them don't even care if the gov't pays or not, their farms even serve better than the meagre pay from gov't. Osun on the other hand...o well!

Businessmen in baby factories.

west, this is a wake up call. do not rely on the government so much.

guess why the igbos are not too disturbed during crisis such as this is because, they do not rely on the government so much.

politics is like a curse in Nigeria. any zone that over indulges in it become even more impoverished, the north for example, even after been the highest people to produce presidents, they are still the most backward of the entire region

let us all learn not to hope and rely on the government, because the bitter truth is that they dont care about us

I think the Solar power project,(have peeped at the site....http://akonlightingafrica.com/our-activities/overview/) would just provide light for some bulbs, and maybe the television.

For powering things like the fridge and other big electrical items.....you may need more than that.

And it was 240million for 20000 households. May cost more to do it in Nigeria.
Akon's resources will be limited

But Imagine over $20B spent on just solar consistently...

Or $5B on solar, $5B on waste, $5B on dams, $5B on glass...

All renewable energy no harm to anyone.. No possibility of a nuclear disaster..

Imagine if u had solar panels instead of generators that last for limited time and pollute the air.
PoliticsRe: Fg Picks Geregu, Itu As 2,400mw Nuclear Power Sites by GodMode: 11:57am On Jun 17, 2015
bushdoc9919:
Solar....good...but not effective (You lose 80% of power generated....plus you have to build a large Solar farm to generate light for a town. And it is expensive (1.6million naira to power a one room apartment).

Wind...you need a very windy spot...eg mountains, and out into the sea. And it costs money too.

Waste....when your governors do not have daily waste collection? Or you want govt to organise waste collection for every city and village in Nigeria? (You get money so?).
Solar is not expensive...blame it on exploitation and ignorance..

Akon's project is based on Solar...

Yes there is money in Nigeriagringringrin
