Na’Allah and his colleague who visited the hospital were denied access to Melaye.Na'Allah said...
“We went to the National Hospital this morning where Senator Dino was alleged to have been kept from yesterday and we confirmed that he was brought yesterday at about 11pm,” he began.
“We spoke to the doctor who is in charge of the ICU and they assured us that they are doing everything humanly possible to stabilize him but he is in the intensive care unit. We tried as much as possible to see him but we were refused access. The instruction that was left by the Police is that only Senator Abu Ibrahim are permitted to see him.
“As at the time we were leaving the hospital, an issue that the feeding of Dino has become an issue because the Police are not willing to feed him because of the situation. They are afraid. The hospital has equally expressed reservations about feeding Senator Dino.

“Lastly, there was insistence to remove him from the National hospital but the management told them that an undertaken must be signed that whatever happens will be on them. That is what is keeping Dino at the National Hospital till date because nobody is willing to sign,” he added.
After several contributions from lawmakers, the Senate resolved to adjourn plenary and visit Melaye at the hospital.
A serving senator who willingly turned himself in to the police, jumped off a moving police vehicle, meaning he was being carried by an open back van? All the way from Abuja to lokoja?immediately anyone is arrested or taken in his or her life is in the hands of the police, if he or she is shot, slapped, or rolls over and dies from a mosquito bite? ......... Now he's been arrested and he hasn't been fed. I think the IG needs to explain something to the Senate.
Factfinder1: Wife of APC National leader, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has asked members of the senate to stop linking the travails of embattled Senator Dino Melaye to the Buhari-led government. Speaking while the senate deliberated on the matter this morning, Tinubu who last year had a faceoff with Melaye, said;
''If we are talking about a particular issue, we should stay with it but when we are bringing in a government that a lot of people also supported to be here, using whatever happened to implicate the government, I think I am against that. We should face the issues. I am not in support of what happened to Dino. If we have anything against the executive, we have the leadership here who is supposed to go and meet with Mr. President. This government is only three years old compared to 16 years of rot. It has only been in power for 3 years and inherited a lot of trouble'.

This is @dino_melaye. He was one of those that fought @GEJonathan and supported @MBuhari. He is being wheeled into a hospital after jumping off a SARS vehicle that was conveying him to Kogi state to face criminal charges. This is what Buhari does to his friends for opposing him.
donstan18: Why should I be bothered over this when I know that feminism won't and can never exist in Nigeria.
It's allowed to exist on social media, but not in reality in my country.
Why did she use social media means to seek Hillary Clinton's attention? , she should have traveled to USA to question her facially.

bro4u: Possession of fire arms Is that supposed to be a reasons, in most countries senators are legally allowed to own a riffle but here in Nigeria the only set of people allowed are the herdsmen.
DONSMITH123: A non-governmental organization, Unified Nigeria Youth Forum, on Monday described President Muhammadu Buhari’s remark that a lot of Nigerian youths want to sit and do nothing as the worst statement any head of state can make about his people in a foreign land.
The forum stated that the youths of Nigeria deserve an unreserved apology from Buhari and his administration, giving the President a seven-day ultimatum to do so.
President of the forum, Abulsalam Mohammed Kazeem, in a statement issued in Kaduna told Buhari, “Your administration lack the moral right to call us names because the only thing your administration have in stock is to blame past administration where over 80 per cent of your cabinet members are once part of that administration. Yet Mr. President is misinforming the world by trying to hide his inadequacies by blaming the youths when even the budget for education and health is not even enough to fund the sectors.
“Our population as a nation is supposed to be an added advantage, but is not, because of the inabilities of both past and present administrations that have failed to fix our power sector.
“Mr. President should be ashamed of himself, his generation and administration for spending over 20 billion US dollars since 1999 till date and yet we are paying for darkness, no investors will invest in any nation where there is no stable power supply like ours (Nigeria). Where are the youth going to get the job from?”
The forum insisted that Nigeria youths are not waiting for free money, stressing that “The youths are making the most of what has been left for them, which is nothing as we can all see and feel rather Mr. President should tell the world that their generation were the idle generation because they have stolen the patrimony of Nigeria youth.
“It took the same president six good months to form his cabinet and yet the only new faces on the list were Kemi Adeosun, late Ocholi and Bar.Solomon Dalung, at this point it’s not wrong for we “the youths” to say that Mr. President is suffering from intellectual idleness for his in-abilities to give us a strong, new and a viable cabinets within seven day of his inauguration?
“Under his watch, unemployment has climbed from 8.2% in 2015 to 18.8% in 2018. Many of us want to work but have no opportunities. Most youth today are willing and able but the fraudulent system we found ourselves could not provide the enabling environment.”
The NGO however observed that Nigeria remains a country of enormous potentials for several decades, adding that the country ought to have performed much better in terms of human, capital and economic development.
