Angel Diamond: I had same worry too when i did my application coz i have my original birth cert, after much findings on this issue i did not submit any age declaration....i wasn't even asked about it at the embassy, neither was i asked to provide NPC birth cert...cheers!!!

dmitroika: hello guys, just to set the record straight, the following are the documents needed to be submitted on the day of the student's visa interview:

Valid passport and 2 color passport photos with a white background
• Birth certificate and declaration of age
• Original School Leaving Certificates of Secondary School, original WAECCertificate
• Proof of previous academic studies / professional training, if applicable
• Proof of financial means for one year (7908.- EUR on a blocked German bank
account or official German declaration of sponsorship („Verpflichtungserklärung“) for one year given before a German authority
• Original letter of admission to university
• Proof of knowledge of the German language, if required for the course
• A “WAEC-direct access card“ (scratch card to access WAEC results online,
available e. g. at Spring Bank and Wema Bank)

emeka55: Are u sure u are telling the truth? Ur dad is a German citizen and he doesn't know the class of visa to file for u? Am not sure u even know the documents required for a visa and why would u book an appointment without even having documents? If u want someone to tell u about german visas, u don't have to make up a story. Just go to the embassy with ur pot of soup and one paint of garri and tell the V.O u need a visa, they are so kind. U can also apply for German visa lottery since ur dad is a citizen
