• 3 Nabbed, 5 Wanted For Gang-raping 15-year-old Girl

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a 39-year-old man identified as Best Orji for allegedly defiling his two daughters in the Surulere area of Lagos, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Speaking during a media briefing with journalists including members of NAOSNP at the Police Command headquarters, Ikeja, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olorundare Jimoh Moshood who was represented by the Command Spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that, the suspect was arrested after his wife reported that her husband was sexually assaulting their two daughters.

The CP said, “A case of defilement was reported on April 30, 2025 in which the complainant reported on behalf of her two daughters aged 14 years and 12 years, against her husband, one Best Orji ‘m’ aged 39″.

The CP revealed that the complainant alleged that her husband defiled their two daughters at Surulere area which led to the arrest of the suspect.

The police said medical report was obtained from a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC).

However, the suspect was subsequently arraigned on May 9, 2025, for defilement under Section 137 of criminal laws of Lagos State, 2015.

In a similar case, the CP said at about 9pm on April 27, 2025, detectives received a report from a 15-year-old female survivor that at about 8pm on the same day, one Kalid, a male, invited her from Orile to Yusuf Esan area of Amukoko, where Kalid and seven (7) other men forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

“Based on the report, a team of police detectives was immediately mobilised to the scene where three (3) of the suspects namely Awali Alabi ‘m’ aged 20, Saliu Anafi ‘m’ aged 18 and Basit Nurudeen ‘m’ aged 16, were arrested while others escaped.

“The survivor has been taken to General Hospital, Suru-Alaba, Amukoko for examination and treatment,” he stated.

The CP said the suspects in custody were assisting the police with useful information towards arresting other fleeing suspects involved.

The story is a life changing story..A story that is already blessing people.

Jude was the first and last boyfriend I ever had before I got married to James.

We were so into each other that every one that saw us together thought we were going to end up together.

We were emotionally tied, we were academically tied and as accountants in the professional field, we were professionally tied too!

We ran the race of ICAN, ANAN and other accounting professional courses together.

He knew too well that being a carreer woman had been my aim since the start. I had wanted to practise on my own although working with a good firm before starting mine wasn’t that a bad idea.

I got married to James by divine intervention because along the way, I met Christ and He led me to my BEST!

One day, the day I will never forget, I was shopping at the Men’s section of Eko Mall when my phone rang and my husband asked me to meet him outside.

He was supposed to be at work!

I saw him close to his Lexus jeep but with a friend I had not seen in like five years of our marriage- Jude!

My crush! My first love!

My heart craved for that special hug that he always gave me then, his warm, masculine hug!

“Jude!” I exclaimed happily and I really couldn’t hide my joy as he came close to me.

“Can I?” He asked my husband as he stretched his hands to hug me.

“C’mon. My hubby aint a jealous man. Hug me!” I was almost screaming when he nit only hugged me but swirled me up in the air while I screamed for him to put me down.

It was awesome and thrilling!

He just knew how to make my heart burst open with pleasurable excitement!

After exchanging pleasantries, I went to my husband’s side and he smiled at me lovingly as he pecked me.

His smile could calm a stormy sea!...hehehehe

“I met him at the park and he said he wants to see you so badly that I had to trace you here wifey” My husband said and I smiled.

I turned to look at Jude.

He was looking all fresh and well fed. There was no sign of the economic melt down on him at all.

“Erm, I am now the Accountant General of Pearls Agency, Worldwide” He said sweetly, slightly licking his lower pink lip.

“What!” I exclaimed after my heart had stopped beating for a while

That had been my dream agency!...Either Pearls or my own establishment!

I had submitted my CV severally to the company to no avail and James had told me that I should pray on to God to open doors for him so he could set me up. I had been trying on my part too anyways.

But its been five years and nothing had happened!

“The company needs a chartered accountant to occupy the post of a senior accountant 1 and I had searched and searched for your contact details to no avail...until I jumped into our bros today” He said and I was excited.

Was he going to choose me?

My heart raced on.

“Would you mind taking the post on? You have lots and lots of benefits. You and I would have enough time to cruise the whole world on a professional spree! We would achieve a lot together...You and I…” he kept on saying and I smiled, being carried away by his pink lips.

I turned to look at James and he was still looking at me, smiling as he knew how to do best.

"Don’t mind him o. Very naughty guy he is!” I said to James and the latter smiled, still looking into my face

“Do you want the job? Just a phone call from my end would give you the job. Just say yes!”

I was shocked and awed at the same time!

Was that supposed to be a blank cheque or something?

I was getting my desires on a platter of gold?

As I was processing how to give a resounding yes in my head, I heard it so calm and cool and the whole wide world stood still for a while.

“No! She doesn’t want the job!” James said and just like the slow motion in Korean movies, I slowly shifted my neck from Jude and looked into my husband’s cool face.

He looked so serious as he looked at James and he smiled as he looked at me.

“I wasn’t asking you Mr. James. I know men like you never want their wives to be better than them. I was asking Emmy. Emerald, for the last time, do you want the job? I will take your last answer for it” He said, looking so furious as if my husband had drawn the battle line.

And really he seemed to have!

Why would my husband say no?

He knew so well that I had loved this job more than anything else. He had prayed with me as regards it too.

What is he saying now?

I turned to look at James again as Jude gave his last opportunity.

James’ smile had melted and he looked from Jude to me and smiled a bit.

“Wifey, I love you and respect you alot and I know its reciprocal. The decision is yours to make although my answer remains no!” He said and shook his head slightly and moved to enter the jeep.

I was in a dilemma!

What exactly did I want?

But, was James really going mad? Was he? How could he choose what he feels over what I like? Why?

I looked into Jude’s face and he was smiling broadly.

I was confused and closed my eyes for a while till all I could see was stark darkness! Till I couldn’t hear the sound of the cars passing, till the only sound I could audibly hear was the sound of my heartbeat.

And slowly, I turned from my ambition, my first love, my past and walked towards the jeep where my husband was!

My husband jumped out of the car and started running towards me, smiling gleefully.

“She chose me! Just me! Yes, she chose me! I told him you might have been with him for years and all but your heart now longs for me, only me! He said we should see if the job and his fresh look wouldn’t make you go with him! He challenged me! He asked for a test! He asked for a test darling and I didn’t want to do it but I told him I would do it for him to see my wife’s submission to His will! Then, you listened to Him! You did!”

My face was already wet with tears as he spoke.

I had series of goosebumps as he spoke to me.

“Does it mean, there is no Pearl Agency Worldwide anywhere?” I asked and my husband held my hands together and smiled deeply.

“Nothing like that! It was a test! An expensive test! I thank GOD you passed! You chose me!” he continued excitedly and swirled me into the air too for the first time.

But I wasn’t smiling at all!

I was pained in my heart!

He dropped me to the ground, disregarded my tears and pulled me to the jeep. He opened the door and brought out a brown envelope from his briefcase. He opened and some photos fell. He picked them and hid them under the envelope while he unfolded a very long white paper.

I waited anxiously.

“This is it. I had started working on it..see..” he said as he showed me the paper works that I couldn’t comprehend. He noticed my confusion and folded the paper.

“See these” he said as he handed the photos to me and I collected them

“What’s this?” I asked

“Emerald Initiatives PLC building under construction!” He said excitedly and tears just jumped out of their ducts in quick succession out of my eyes!

“You’ve been working on that behind my back?” I asked in utter shock, falling further into fits of cries

“I’d always be working for my queen to be the best. Best among the best and gladly, she is just so submissive to love little me. Chai, the love has just began!” He helped me enter the jeep and planted a quick kiss on my tear stained lips.

Yeah, I am here again to stop the story from going further till we have learnt what God wants us to learn.

1. Jude is the devil, James is Jesus! We dated Jude in the past and had lots and lots of sinful pleasures but now married to Jesus, we say bye!

2. Jude had been a lookout for Emerald even though she was married. Why now? Well, the defeated foe is forever doomed and he doesn’t want to go to hell alone. He is on the lookout for you and I no matter how long or how not long you became married to Jesus!

3. Jude was even courting Emerald stylishly in the presence of her husband! What audacity! Well, does that evil guy care? No he doesn’t! He can bring temptation anywhere to us, even in the church! Beware!

4. James was not going to talk too much. No is no. if you seek for any other option, that is now left to you. That is the same way God says He has set life and death before us. He thereafter urges us to choose life!

5. Jude was only testing Emerald to see her level of devotion and commitment to James over her ambitions and goals in life. If there is a chance for us to choose between what we loved doing most and God, sincerely, what would be our choices?

6. James didn’t drive off even after he had told her to do her wish. He stood right there in the jeep waiting for her. Even in temptation and trials of faith when God seems silent, He actually is there, waiting and sincerely wishing that YOU CHOOSE HIM!

7. Emerald closed her eyes in prayers while in dilemma. She was confused as she weighed the pros and cons. Who is our first port of call when we are in a triangle?

8. She also closed her eyes, mind, all, till nothing else mattered but His sure voice alone! Do we seek to listen at all? Do we? Above all the noise around, do we seek His voice?

9. Emerald chose to follow God’s will for her life. What about you? Have you sincerely waved at all pleasures and wants that are not in accordance with His will? Have you?

10. James jumped to his feet with joy as he was the chosen one! When next you are tempted, remember the smile of God that can calm the raging sea and chose right. You wouldn’t want that smile turn to frown, would you? He would run to hug you. Ask the prodigal son if he didn’t run. God runs to welcome a straying sheep

11. Emerald was not going to be an employee! She was being designed to be a boss! Thank goodness she didn’t settle for less. What about you? You wanna settle for less than God?

They noted that they are guided by the University’s ethos of enterprise and collaboration, thus 'the Centre is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities in Africa through strategic partnerships and transformative education and training programmes, research, evidence-based policymaking, social and cultural engagement geared towards finding practical solutions to regional social and economic challenges.'

Midgley added that the Advisory Board convenes annually, with meetings held virtually and occasionally in person at the University of the West of England UK or in Africa where feasible.

The ongoing matter over the demolition of the popular market known for its specialty in motor spare parts, Owode Onirin international market situated in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA is thankfully reaching a positive conclusion. This is going by the unrelenting response, interaction, and intervention of the peace loving Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Executive Chairman, Mayor Dele Oshinowo on the matter, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Contrary to the opinion shared in a viral video by the Honorable Member representing Kosofe federal constituency, Hon. Kafilat Ogbara that the Chairman, Mayor Oshinowo is the one responsible for the demolition, clarity has come to the fore that the Olowu family has actually been in court since 1994 over the land matter and have recently obtained a Supreme Court judgement for them to go ahead with the demolition. This is what led to the men of the Nigeria Police taking over the scene of the incident to enforce the order. This is what led to the teargassing experience to disperse the crowd on the said date.

Noting that since 6th of March 2025 when the demolition matter first happened, he has not rest on his oars to seek a solution to the land dispute since the event occurred, the Chairman of the local council, Oshinowo was today pays a working visit physically at the Owode Onirin market to engage with the market men and women and their various leaders among other stakeholders.

Addressing the marketmen and women in Yoruba, the Chairman Mayor Dele Oshinowo reeled out the events which had proceeded from 6th of March till present.

He stated: 'I am here physically in this market today to speak directly to you so that we can assess the situation together and find solutions. I am a straightforward person and I will plainly speak to you in the matter. On 6th March 2025, I started getting incessant calls that some people are currently demolishing the Owode Onirin market. I rushed here, in fact I was almost hit by teargas on that day. The incident made me meet the Governor who advised that we write a letter to the Attorney-General which we did. I also communicated to the Lagos Agency in charge that they ought to inform us when they had such a plan since we are the government in charge. They said they are following a Supreme Court judgement.'

'This land issue has been from 1994 when we were under Somolu local govt. Even Kosofe local govt was not involved. And now Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. This is why we also pushed our grievance in court noting that the land is under acquisition. At a point, the Governor met with the council and the supposed land owners. The Governor stated that the normal thing is that when you get a court judgment, you should also see how to compensate the people not to just enter the land and start demolition. He also noted that the whole land is about 26.6 hectares, of which the family owns only 4.4 hectares, so the State Government even must issue C of O.'

'The landowners banked on the fact that since the LCDA owns 22.2, we should be able to easily release their 4.4 but I said no, things are not done that way, you can't just suddenly push out this market. If your case started in 1994, this market started in 1979, people are making their ends meet here. When we renovated the Pako and Mandela markets, we did the reconstruction simultaneously with the people there. So while we worked on one part, they were on the other side. I will not be a party to destroy a huge source of revenue for individuals and families, I wasn't part of it when I started my administration, I will not be part of it In a few days to end my tenure.'

Oshinowo continued: 'All this was happening when your Representative Kafilat Ogbara came here to lie to you. I am not mincing words. I know everything I am saying now some of you are recording to send it, but that's no problem, I just don't want anybody to defame me, I could push for a lawsuit on that. They said I am building estates, that's why I am demolishing your market. The estate we built at Ajelogo didn't start in my tenure, it has been through many administrations, God just allowed it that under my tenure, we completed it. Today the name of Agboyi-Ketu is a household name all across Nigeria.'

On an amicable solution to the matter, he stated that more discussions have to take place between the LCDA government and the family. 'What I want is that we have to reach an agreement with the landowners. Of that 4.4 hectares which covers your market, we have to get a portion out for you. Whatever portion we get will be shared accordingly among all the sections of the market', he concluded.
