Urges Nigerians to be wary of criminals' Dynamic Antics, Cautions against Violent Confrontation

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

As part of its commitment to strengthening national security and curbing crime across the nation, the Nigeria Police Force continues to implement proactive strategies to address criminal activities effectively. These efforts reflect the determination to create a safer environment for all citizens while reinforcing public trust in the security apparatus.

The recent successful operations carried out by Police operatives across the nation serve as a testament to this ongoing dedication to protect the lives and property of all residents in the country, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
In one of such cases at the Lagos State Police Command, a team of policemen from the Satellite Division during routine patrols on February 7th, 2025, intercepted a suspected hoodlum identified as Wisdom Obi ‘m’, 24 years.

The suspect was riding an unregistered motorcycle at the Abule Ado bus stop along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in Amuwo Odofin. Upon searching the suspect, a brownie pistol along with 13 rounds of live ammunition was discovered concealed within an MP3 radio. The suspect was taken into custody, with the motorcycle and recovered items documented as exhibits, while investigation continues.

Similarly, on February 7, 2025, another team of officers from the Orile Iganmu Division apprehended four suspected traffic robbers: Kadir Ibrahim ‘m’, Ifeanyin John ‘m’, Oduwole Shola ‘m’, and Rilwan Olajuwon ‘m’, while they were attempting to rob passengers of a broken-down vehicle at the Ascon White Sand area of Orile Iganmu.
The suspects are currently in custody as investigations proceed. The police strongly advises citizens to exercise vigilance and be wary of the cunning schemes of traffic robbers who blend in as innocent traffic traders, preying on unsuspecting individuals who find themselves entrapped in congested routes.

Earlier, on February 5, 2025, the Ikoyi Division in Lagos State received reports regarding a violent confrontation between two individuals, Okeke Johnchris ‘m’, and William Wisdom ‘m’, aged 33, at Falomo Square, Ikoyi.

Following a heated argument, Okeke allegedly rammed his Lexus saloon car into William, inflicting severe injuries. William was rushed to Gbagada General Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A team of detectives visited the scene, and the deceased was taken to IDH Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy.
The suspect has been apprehended and is currently in police custody pending conclusion of investigations and arraignment.

The Nigeria Police Force uses this medium to caution citizens against violent confrontations and encourage those offended to seek proper redress through stipulated legal procedures. Citizens must avoid taking the law into their hands. The Force remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents, working diligently to combat crime while upholding the fundamental principles of justice.

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

▪︎ FORCE CAUTIONS SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS, ACTIVISTS AGAINST MISLEADING NIGERIANS

The management of the Nigeria Police Force has denied and debunked the viral social media reports where social media influencers and activists are antagonising the Police on the issuance and enforcement of the 3rd party insurance policy, alleging that the NPF has been using the policy to rake in money.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that, "The attention of the police has been drawn to misinformation and misleading comments credited to some social media influencers and activists antagonising the police on the issuance and enforcement of the 3rd party insurance policy, where the NPF has been alleged of using the policy to rake in money."

According to the statement, "The Nigeria Police Force wishes to emphasize that it does not issue third-party insurance as it has been misconstrued by some individuals. The responsibility for obtaining this mandatory insurance lies with vehicle owners through their respective insurance companies. The Force has commenced the enforcement operations of the insurance policy with effect from today, February 1, 2025, aiming to enhance road safety and protect the rights of accident victims."

"In light of this enforcement, the Force therefore cautions social media influencers and activists against spreading misinformation regarding insurance policies as the police is solely for the enforcement, not the issuance of the insurance cover."

"Dissemination of accurate information is vital to prevent misleading the public, while misconceptions can eventually lead to non-compliance and potential legal repercussions for motorists

PoliticsPolice Refute Sowore’s Claims On IGP Egbetokun’s Tenure by Godspowerpro(op): 5:27am On Jan 31, 2025
• Appointment is Legal, Duly Confirmed by Police Council

The Nigeria Police Force hereby refutes, in clear and unequivocal terms, the baseless and misleading claims recently attributed to Mr. Omoyele Sowore alleging that the tenure of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, is illegal. Such claims are entirely unfounded and seek to undermine the legitimacy of the IGP’s appointment as well as public confidence in the Nigeria Police, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

IGP Egbetokun’s appointment is firmly grounded in law, specifically PART III, Section 7 (6) of the Police Act, 2020 (as amended). This provision explicitly states that “The person appointed to the office of the Inspector-General of Police shall hold office for four years.” Moreover, his appointment was duly ratified by the Police Council, and he has received the requisite confirmation letter from the Presidency, validating his tenure from October 31, 2023, to October 31, 2027, in line with the provisions of Section 8A of the executive bill passed which amended the Police Act, clearly stating that “Any person appointed to the office of Inspector-General of Police shall remain in office until the end of term stipulated in the letter of appointment in line with the provisions of section 7(6) of this Act.

The amendment aims to provide stability and continuity in the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force, enabling the IGP to implement long-term plans and policies without fear of abrupt termination. This change is expected to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the police force in maintaining law and order in the country.

It is crucial for members of the public to be aware that IGP Egbetokun’s status as the 22nd Indigenous Inspector-General of Police is both legally and procedurally sound.

The Nigeria Police Force views Mr. Sowore’s unfounded assertions as an attempt to erode public trust and foster confusion regarding the force’s leadership.

Dissemination of inaccurate information, particularly about the IGP’s standing, has the potential to compromise the security framework of our nation and impede our collective efforts to ensure peace and order.

The Nigeria Police hereby cautions individuals and groups against perpetuating such unfounded narratives that can mislead the public and jeopardize national security. We urge all citizens to focus on objective discussions that advance our shared mission of safeguarding lives and property, rather than indulging in disinformation that may undermine the significant strides we continue to make in maintaining public safety.

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

Indeed, the year 2025 begins with new songs as some senior police officers in Zone 2 Command (Lagos and Ogun States) were decorated with new ranks by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of the command, AIG Fayoade Adegoke, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Gbolahan Yishawu, Mr. Rasheed Muri-Okunola among others.

The AIG Zone 2 urged the newly promoted police officers to double their efforts at improving the image of the Force, safety of the country and eschew all forms of bad conduct.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG in charge Zone 2 Command, AIG Fayoade Adegoke, who gave the charge, specifically warned against forceful collection of money from members of the public.

Speaking Tuesday during the decoration ceremony of newly promoted officers at the Zone 2 headquarters, Onikan Lagos, Fayoade emphasised that promotion is a call to work hard in terms of ensuring the safety of the country.

Admonishing further, Fayoade who is the Supervisor for Lagos and Ogun States Commands, also charged the officers to improve their performances in serving sincerely, diligently and committedly, in order to upscale the positive image of the Force and its personnel.

Imploring them to show empathy, love, kindness in the discharge of their duties at all times, the Zone 2 Police Command helmsman, asserted that Nigerians are very generous and would appreciate the good deed of any officer.
His words, "When you are giving a promotion like this, it doesn't mean you should go to sleep, it's a call to duty, it means you must work harder, do more in terms of securing the country.

"You must also portray the image of the Force in a positive light, and not that when you get your promotion and go back to your beat and start what members of the public are not happy with that you always do. You must put up a very good attitude, you must show empathy, must relate with members of the public very well. Show love, show kindness to them in the course of your duty.

"You must eschew any form of corruption in whatever we do, once you do your job very well, Nigerians are very generous and very kind, they will appreciate you.

"Don't take money forcefully from anybody, if you do your job diligently, you will be appreciated. At your own corner, improve the image of the Force, improve the security of the country, the country must be secured than it has always been. We've a lot of work to do as security agents, as police officers and we must rise up to the expectations of members of the country and we have no choice than to do our job diligently and at our various duty posts, we must do everything possible to reduce crime, to bring comfort to members of the communities. But where we have a situation where the security is completely down, no safety, it's not good for the country.

"So am charging all of you, go back to your beats, put more efforts, improve on your performance and serve Nigerians sincerely, diligently and committedly, so that the image of the Force and our image will continue to be in the rise".

AIG Fayoade however applauded the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun for deeming it fit to promote the officers, just as he lauded the chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and members of the Commission for approving the promotions.

Getting Set For Divine Encounters At Shiloh 2024

2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV
[17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you
.

No one sees GOD without getting set.
No one sees GOD and remains the same.

2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
[18] But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord
.

What Is Shiloh?

Shiloh is not a church program.
Shiloh is a mountain of answered prayers.

One of the cardinal purposes of Shiloh is to gather GOD'S people and give them their inheritance.

Joshua 18:2 KJV
[2] And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.

Shiloh is a place of supply for whatever is lacking.

James 1:5 KJV
[5] If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him
.

One of the platforms is through effectual fervent prayers.
Shiloh provides opportunities for prayers; Shiloh Prayer Hour.
Everyday on Shiloh ground is prayer day.

There are conditions for prayers to gain access to GOD, and for answers to come to us.

Psalm 66:18 KJV
[18] If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear me:

GOD does not honor when iniquity is in place.

John 9:31 KJV
[31] Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth
.

We must clean up and stay clean, so that nothing can block our access.

James 5:16 KJV
[16] Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Some Hindrances To Answered Prayers

1. We must not come to Shiloh in unbelief
.

James 1:6-7 KJV
[6] But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. [7] For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord
.

2. Cleanse all forms of offenses

Luke 7:23 KJV
[23] And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me
.

3. We must not come with unforgiveness

Matthew 6:12 KJV
[12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors
.

4. We must not come with bitterness and grudges

James 5:9 KJV
[9] Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Isaiah 59:1-2 KJV
[1] Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: [2] but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

5. We must get set to hear the voice of GOD, and you shall return with answers.

LORD, give me Grace to have an encounter with YOU at Shiloh 2024 in Jesus name
