Godspowerpro, thanks for sharing. You said that encounter must come from penetration which makes it sound like we are the ones who are to EARN this encounter by our persistence. Should it be the result of our hardwork or the result of God's grace?

I know that there are Bible verses that seem to support both sides:
1. It's the result of our persistence (hard work). Example, "work out your salvation in fear and trembling" and "faith without work is dead".
2. It's the result of God's grace. "For we are saved by grace through faith. And this, not of ourselves lest anyone should boast".

Now, I just quoted the encounter between God and the patriarch Isaac. As you rightly said, the encounter led to great instant positive changes in the life of the patriarch. BUT, you can see that Isaac didn't do any kind of PENETRATION before the encounter happened. Instead, it was a case of what GRACE should be. And yet, that was in the Old Testament!

How come we need to do so much penetration in this era of grace before we encounter God's presence? Personally, I've done the penetration many times but got nothing near what Isaac is reported to have experienced (above) back in the days.

So, any clue for me?

So much more encounters, even David prepared himself while tending his father's herd, Jesus often went to the wilderness.

A genuine encounter with GOD cannot be compared with the lifetime effort of man

It is preparation that paves the way for visitation.

Wisdom comes by encounters.

But divine encounters often make demands from us to access.

Participation is different from preparation.

When the power of GOD is released, testimonies are released.

On September 19, 1992, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Nigerian Infantry Corps as a member of the 39th Regular Course. Throughout his service, Lt. General Lagbaja demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment, serving as a platoon commander in the 93 Battalion and the 72 Special Forces Battalion.

Lt. General Lagbaja is survived by his beloved wife, Mariya, and their two children.

Victor Adogbajale leads NYCN Ifako-Ijaiye to stage community stakeholders program tagged Government and The People

International Youth Day 2024, 

Giving GOD all the Glory on September 3, 2024, in commemoration of International Youth Day (IYD 24), as Victor Kolade Adogbajale, the Coordinator National Youth Council of Nigeria Ifako-Ijaiye branch and his team led a celebratory convergence of Youths in Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos. Present at the program were vital local government stakeholders, including political juggernauts, religious and traditional leaders, market leaders, councillors, security agencies, Youth Corpers, representatives of the U.N, and several other government parastatals. Community-Based Youths and Voluntary Youth Organizations also convened in the session tagged ‘Government and The People’.


The theme was “From clicks to progress; Youths digital pathways for sustainable development” and the occasion featured theatrical performances, fun and games, and economic empowerment; with point of sales machines, in accordance with the council’s custom of empowering its constituents. The NYCN also independently gave out land benefits to commemorate the International Youth Day. 

According to Comrade Victor K. Adogbajale, NYCN Ifako Ijaiye Chapter coordinator, he mentioned to GODSPOWERPROJECT, that participants were sensitized on things they otherwise would have never known, as policymakers and relevant personalities addressed everyone in relation to the provision of their respective offices.

“There are lots of things going on at the helm of affairs, that they (people) need to have knowledge about, and that is why they need to engage their representatives, because if you do not know what your representatives are doing, there’s the tendency to keep chastising and accusing them, whereas sometimes, there are ongoing opportunities you do not know about, or simply complacent about. So it is good that you engage your representatives and members of the government"

While commending the efforts of NYCN Ifako Ijaiye chapter, Olanireti Olusegun, who represented the Member House of Representatives- Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo, emphasized that the youths are ready to take their place in Nigeria at large. 

According to Olanireti, “The youths of Ifako Ijaiye, (and) NYCN, Ifako Ijaiye chapter, they are doing very well. I believe there’s room for improvement, they should use their strength positively, remain enthusiastic, moraĺly, they should remain upright and model the ones behind them, so that we can always have our place in Lagos state and Nigeria at large. 

Also present at the event, was NYCN’s state chairman, Ibrahim Adigun, who offered words of encouragement to all parties involved, when he optimistically stated to journalists that “My advise is that we should continue to be focused, remain dedicated and passionate about what we do. We should also shun social vices. About what the government is doing, we should be optimistic about the Nigerian project.”

Moses Ogbuehi, a Youth leader from the Uniformed Organizations, who participated in the interactive session, expressed that the event was timely and aptly themed: From clicks to progress; youths digital pathways for sustainable development 
“It is a timely event, because this period we have youths who do not understand the abilities they can get from IT, so this program is timely because it has opened our minds to IT.”

In the same vein, another participant, Shobukola Oluwasemilogo described the effect the event had on her. According to her, “It was impactful, we learnt a lot about technology and how to participate as a youth, in government.”

In every society, youths are the driving force behind innovation and transformation. So the need for every government and society to continually recognize their (youths) contributions and potentials as agents of change through various initiatives. 

The Guest Speaker for the day was Otunba Eyitayo Ogunmola (CEO Utiva), a tech enthusiast who captivated the audience by speaking extensively on the theme of the International Youth Day in relation to modern age, Artificial Intelligence alongside career development and mentorship. 

Interestingly, the Secretary General for United Association of Nigeria, Belinda Afalu, shared her overall perception of youths in politics, and its sustainability. “The youths have to come to the realization of the role they play in building the nation. If they don’t understand that role, then it’s going to be difficult to build this nation, because we need to build a nation that is going to be sustainable over the next 60 years.”

The event also underscores the role of digital technology in empowering youths to lead the change towards a sustainable future, as stakeholders further called for increased focus on digital inclusion, skills development, and youth participation in decision making process, and fostering global collaboration on youthcentric issues. 
The other side of the program was the Community Engagement Session (Government and The People) in which all critical Local Government leaders;

The Chairman, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat (UAH)- the member House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Olabinjo (BAO)- the member House of Assembly, Hon. Temitope Adewale (JAH), and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Dr. Adekunle Olayinka (KOPI) engaged the people on topics which relates to their offices and community responsibilities.

The council leader – Hon. Dr. Victor Onifade concluded with a goodwill message, as Engr. Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi (APWEN Chairman) while in diaspora, encouraged and admonished the Youths of Ifako-Ijaiye as well as organizers of the laudable program.

Prophecies are declarations of divine intentions.
GOD proclaiming what HE intends to do.

Prophecies require spiritual protocols to be actualized in the life of a believer.
