Shiloh is a place of divine appointment.
Shiloh is a mountain of divine visitation.

What is a divine encounter?

A divine encounter is a supernatural event that leads to a personal revelation of GOD.

Encounters are personal, therefore we must get ourselves ready.

1. We must turn from our sins; it involves our actions, by taking practical steps.

Today, the new Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of North Central, DIG Mohammed Ari Ali assumed office with family and friends felicitating with him on the new role. The decoration ceremony which took place at the Force Headquarters, Abuja had the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun do the honors of decorating him with his new elevation rank as Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG.
 
Also in attendance were the wife of the new DIG Ari Ali, Hajia Zainab Mohammed Ali, DIG Force CID, DIG Abiodun Alabi, DIG Frank Mba, among others senior officers. His trusted ally and Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan was also in attendance.
 
In his congratulatory message made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP to the newly elevated DIG at the brief ceremony, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan expressed joy at the giant strides that DIG Ari Mohammed Ali has made over the years in the course of his policing career. Urging him to continue, Dr. Ogunsan stated: 'Our new DIG sir, I am particularly excited about your growth in your policing career. Encounters must be prepared for.

What Is Unique About Shiloh?

Shiloh is not a convention, but a mountain of divine visitation.

It is not just appearing at Shiloh, but about GOD appearing to you.

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has announced the postponement of its 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
 
The meeting which was scheduled to be held this Thursday 28th November 2024 at the Civic Centre Lagos will now hold on Wednesday 18th December 2024 at the Lagos House, Ikeja. Attendance to the event is strictly by invitation.
 
In LSSTF's brief announcement and made available to NAOSNP, the funding agency which has played a significant role in the upliftment of security in Lagos regrets the inconveniences which the postponement causes the government functionaries, corporate organizations, and other participants at the event.

The attention of Oba Kayode Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu has been drawn to an article titled “Apomu king turns war monger for PDP”. The article written by Tunde Odesola, a Columnist, was published in a national newspaper, on November 15th,2024.

His careless, reckless and offensive choice of words for the defamatory, headline revealed Odesola's purpose for writing the article; One, he had an agenda to tarnish the image of Apomu King; Two, Odesola was on an errand to defame the King; Three, Odesola's mission was to destroy the character, personality and reputation of the King, his throne and by extension, the entire people of Apomu kingdom.

Odesola's deceitful opinion was based, according to him on a video he claimed he saw on a WhatsApp group. He said before he saw the video, he had a different topic he wanted to write about. Curiously, Odesola abandoned the former topic and jumped on the Apomu King's video.

Odesola took the video from a WhatsApp group and interpreted it authoritatively as if he was there when the video was recorded. He wrote his malicious opinion on the video as if he was a witness.

The article was not based on facts. It was based on Odesola's subjective opinion, which he presented to the public as facts.

Despite the fact that the video is not his original material, Odesola relied on it and did not consider to verify it or use the word “alleged” to describe the video. The video remains in the realm of allegation until proven.

Odesola did not maintain the standard of professionalism by investigating the video and the allegations against the Apomu King.

In this era of modern technology, falsehood can easily be paraded as facts.

Facts are sacred and scarce. But opinion is free and cheap.
Everyone has an opinion. Everyone is entitled to his opinion.
But no one has a right to libel someone in his opinion, particularly, Odesola has fiercely attacked the character of the King in his cruel expressions in the national news platform.

Odesola is fortunate to have a credible news platform to express his views, but he has abused the privilege given to him.
He does not have a right to defame the Apomu King's character simply because he has a right to express his opinon.

It is very unprofessional for him to take advantage of his position as a columnist to libel the King and rubbish an entire community based on a video that is not foolproof.

By calling the Alapomu a war monger, Odesola wants the public to see and treat Alapomu as such, without any justification

He did not stop at describing Alapomu as a war monger. Odesola went on to describe the King as a Gangster.

According to Oxford Dictionary, a gangster is “a member of a gang of violent criminals”.

What criminal record or evidence did Odesola rely on to describe the King in such a vile manner?

Odesola who made the allegation must be able to prove. It is unprofessional and wicked to throw dirt at a King without any proof. This is a clear case of libel.

Apomu King has no criminal record at all. He has never been involved in any crime or proven to be a member of any criminal gang. The King is a man of good character, integrity law abiding, responsible and peaceful.

Despite the good record of the King, who has won many Peace Awards, Odesola deliberately lied against him.

Referring to the King, who has no antecedent of crime as a gangster is defamatory, libelous venomous, spiteful and evil intentioned.

Odesola has gone personal in his attack on the King’s reputation.This is very obvious in the article which is malicious, one sided, prejudiced, subjective and grossly biased. Odesola's article was published many days after the King had refuted the video in many national newspapers and online publications. The refuttal was also widely circulated in the public space.

The King debunked the allegations made about the video in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Tolu Adetunji. He said the video was recorded at flag-off of a road construction in Apomu.

The King was invited as the Royal Father of the occasion by Honourable Lanre Ladebo, the PDP, Federal House of Representatives member, representing Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, who is an indigene of Apomu.

His speech was recorded in a video at the event and doctored to allege that he was inciting political violence.

The King has never been involved in politics all his life. However he relates with all the indigenes of Apomu as his children irrespective of their political affiliation and he does not influence where their support or votes would go.

For instance, in the 2022 governorship election in Osun State, APC had an unprecedented victory in Apomu. In 2023 Presidential election, APC also won for the first time in the history of Apomu.

This shows that the King is not partisan. He is not a war monger. He is a man of peace contrary to Odesola's article.

However, APC lost the Federal House of Representatives election to Honourable Lanre Ladebo, who organized the flag off event the King attended.

Some people were aggrieved by Ladebo’s victory. Since then, there had been a growing behind the scene allegations that Ladebo’s victory was influenced by the King.

The King’s undisclosed “offence" in the secret battle is that he allegedly supported Ladebo, against his opponent who lost in Ayedaade, her (opponent's) local government.

The aggrieved persons may have been looking for ways to get back at the King. They saw an opportunity in the flag off event organized by Ladebo, to smear the image of the King with a doctored video.

Unknown to the aggrieved people, Ladebo did not win because of his party. Regardless of the political party, the people of Apomu had made up their minds to vote an indigene of Apomu so that they can be represented for the first time at the National Assembly.

Apomu in its entire history has never produced anyone at National level. So it did not matter the party, the people wanted a representative who would be their voice and attract development to Apomu town which has been neglected and underdeveloped since independence.

It is for that reason that the people of Apomu voted for Ladebo. He defeated his opponent because he won the election overwhelmingly, both in Apomu his hometown and Isokan,his Local Government.

Ladebo was not the initial candidate for that position.He was a candidate of circumstance.

Olusola Arabambi, the candidate who won the primaries election died mysteriously less than two months to the election.
Ladebo replaced Arabambi because he was the runner up in the primaries election.

Following the sudden and shocking death of Arabambi, all his supporters transferred their loyalty and support to Ladebo.

Odesola claims to know the history of Apomu but he has no idea about the emergence of Ladebo. If he did, he would have known that the King did not need to incite violence or turn warmonger for PDP, for Ladebo to win, as he has lazily alleged.

Apomu voted for Ladebo out of sympathy for the late Arabambi, a prominent indigene of Apomu, grassroot man who touched many lives.

Calling the King a warmonger in a matter that Odesola is ignorant about is an insult to the entire people of Apomu and the King whose ancient throne dates back to 16th century.

Oral traditions relating to the foundation of Apomu and the development of its structure, institutions and systems shows the antiquity of Apomu and the dynastic/royal pedigree of its founder in the 16th century. Apomu developed into the first known and documented flourishing centre of commerce for 300 years in the old Oyo empire, because of its proximate distance to Oyo, Ile-Ife, Ijebu and other towns in Yoruba land.

The emergence of Apomu as the main commercial nerve centre in this strategic location was indicative of her role in the rise and expansion of the old Oyo empire.

Oba Afolabi is the 14th Alapomu of Apomu, and he has continued with the tradition of promoting commerce. Commerce can only thrive in an environment of peace not war. Today Apomu has one of the largest markets in Osun State.

Referring to the King of an institution with such ancient history, as a gangster is irresponsible, reckless and libelous. It is an attack on the reputation of the king and the entire people of Apomu kingdom. It is capable of bringing down the reputation of the king and his people in the eyes of right thinking members of the society.

A professional columnist is expected to be civil and think sensibly basing his comments and criticisms on facts not fiction.

But Odesola threw away all the ethics of the profession and went the way of a money monger to do a hatchet job. His article disguised as an innocent review of the video to do an hatchet on Apomu King. To achieve the aim of the hatchet job, Odesola chose an attention grabbling headline, to lure readers.

But Odesola ended up with a libelous article without facts to substantiate the allegations. He did not conduct research on the King’s character or interview him as the person involved in the video. Therefore he could not cite any credible or reliable source to support his allegations.

By not providing credible evidence, Odesola has deceived the public to believe his falsehood. He has no facts to make his statements reliable.

This raises a big question mark on Odesola's credibility as a professional columnist.

It's a double celebration for the Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan as he is honored by two media organizations recently for his giant strides in security, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

The prestigious NAOSNP Shield of Security Honour presented to Dr. Ayo Ogunsan at the recently concluded NAOSNP National Security Conference and Awards 2024 held at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos organised by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) was in recognition of his instrumental roles in the promotion of security across agencies.

Other than that, Dr. Ogunsan is also noted to be at the forefront of the crusade against cultism and other social vices, hence his role in the Nigeria Police as the Chairman of POCACOV in Lagos State as well as his role as Patron of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Lagos.

The award was presented at the 2024 annual security conference of the security news beat association which was held on Wednesday 9th October 2024. The event was attended by the former Honourable Minister (State) for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim (now Hon. The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG in charge of Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, AIG Ogundele Ayodeji has hinted that he has been a victim of sensational and fake stories in his line of duty as the media 'overblown the story' simply to grab the attention of the public. This is why he advocates that the press reports issues in the true manner that they obtained the information. He made this known during the courtesy visit of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers NAOSNP to his office in Alagbon, Lagos.

AIG Ogundele Ayodeji who resumed office at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, FCID Lagos Annex Alagbon few three months ago stated that 'a lot of time, some journalists like to add certain things to stories, so that the story can get sensational, so that the story will attract attention in a way, to add what is not to color the story. There was an incident when I was CP that the way the media reported it was not good enough. You know, to draw the attention of the public, they overblown the story so the motive behind the story was very wrong. The journalist knew that what he did was very wrong but he didn't even bother. He just went ahead.'

'I want to advocate that you should not add to what the person did not say and don't add to what you did not see', he said.
Nevertheless, the former AIG in charge of Zone 7 (Abuja FCT and Niger state) thanked the media for the good work that they have been doing to support security and make the nation a better place. 'I appreciate the visit of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers for what they've been doing for the Nigeria Police Force while noting that there's still more to be done in terms of helping to report properly.

The NAOSNP President, Oki Samson used the visit to commend the Force CID Annex Lagos PPRO, ASP Aminat Mayegun for proper dissemination of news information as needed. She attends to the media promptly and relates information of the activities of the FCID Annex regularly. She is always available to attend to the press.

He then presented a Certificate of Credence to the AIG for the good work, and for his professionalism, tactical criminal investigation style, and operational leadership.

Since his assumption as AIG in charge of Force CID Annex Alagbon, AIG Ogundele Ayodeji has recorded a series of achievements which includes crimes busted, criminal investigation which he didn't make noise about. He noted that he doesn't like unnecessary publicity, however, he has got a lot of commendations from stakeholders.

AIG Ogundele Joshua Ayodeji was born to the family of late Pa. and Mrs. Gabriel Ajibade Ogundele in Oyo Town, Oyo West LGA of Oyo State. He holds a B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Political Science from the University of Ibadan in 1985 and 1988 respectively.

He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet ASP on March 3rd, 1990.
He has served in various capacities within the Force, but not limited to the following: he served as Patrol and Guards, DCO, and DPO in various Divisions in Anambra and Abia States respectively; he was equally O/C SARS Zone 9 Headquarters, Umuahia 2001 – 2003; he was the Commander, of Nigeria’s Contingent on Peace Keeping to the Republic of Croatia 1997-1998; and 2i/c Area Commander, Onitsha Area Command 1998.

The Police Service Commission announced the promotion and appointment of AIG Ari Mohammed Ali as Deputy Inspector General of Police to replace DIG Ade Ayuba today 19th November. DIG Ayuba retired from service today. AIG Ali hails from Nasarawa state in the North Central region of the country.
The PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd mni, called for professionalism and zero tolerance for Corruption from the new DIG. DIG Argungu said the Commission will encourage the new DIG to fall in line with the Commission's vision for a Police Force that is professional and accountable to the Nigerian people.

DIG Argungu said the new PSC is building a new Police that will be a pride of the Nigeria people, free of corruption but full of vigor and determination to serve. He congratulated DIG Ari Mohammed Ali and charged him to go and give his best in the service of his fatherland.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Spokesperson of the Commission, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani stated that, "The Police Service Commission today, Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, appointed AIG Ari Mohammed Ali Deputy Inspector General of Police to replace DIG Ade Ayuba who has retired from service.

Ali was until today the AIG in charge of Zone one, Kano and hails from Nasarawa state in the North Central region of the country."

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Ondo State Elections, DIG Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, held a press briefing today, 14th November 2024, at the Ondo State Police Command Headquarters, Akure, where he addressed officers deployed for the Gubernatorial election duty and the members of the press, emphasizing the readiness of the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies on the forthcoming 2024 Ondo State Gubernatorial Elections, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
 
DIG Alabi during his address mentioned that the Force had begun effective deployments of personnel across all 18 Local Government Areas, 203 Wards, and 3,933 Polling Units in the state, assuring the presence of at least four (4) Police Officers in collaboration with officers representing other election security agency, at each polling unit, to ensure a smooth poll.

In a bid to emplace proactive measures against all forms of security threat and interference during the electoral process, the DIG emphasized the importance of Intelligence gathering and firmness. These approaches are essential for upholding safety and security, as they assist in identifying and preventing electoral fraud, including vote-buying and manipulation.
 
By leveraging intelligence gathering, the police can ensure a secure, free, and fair electoral process. To this end, the Force has carried out a comprehensive threat analysis and as well, deployed adequate personnel to areas identified as vulnerable points during the elections.
 

The DIG further encouraged a collaborative effort between the Nigeria Police Force, other election security agencies and the electorates, reiterating the commitment of the Force to maintaining law and order across the state with adequate contingency plans to respond appropriately to issues that may arise before, during and after the election.
 
Citizens are advised to abide by the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2023 (as amended) and INEC guidelines, as well as all other extant laws of the land, as every electoral offender and troubleshooter would be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.

Every divine encounter in the Kingdom is rooted in spiritual preparation

Encounters are personal. GOD may be speaking and showing things to everyone, but what you see and hear is your own encounter.

Without genuine hunger and thirst, and desire, no one draw encounters.

The Nigeria Police Force has inaugurated an anti-crime outreach program on Tuesday, November 12 2024, at the Jiwa Town Hall, Jiwa Town, Abuja, as part of its efforts to intensify community-based anti-crime policing strategies, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
The programme put together by the Police Campaign Against Cultism & Other Vices (POCACOV) themed "Breaking the Circle: Parental Responsibility in Preventing Youth Crime", aims to address critical social issues impacting our youth and foster a more resilient community.

With an estimated 500 participants including parents, local leaders, and youth representatives, the event served as a platform for discussion, learning, and engagement on implementing targeted strategies to combat pressing issues such as cultism, drug misuse and abuse, as well as other social vices which threatens the well-being of our youth.

Additionally, youth development and rehabilitation programs and skill acquisition projects were also introduced to equip youths with constructive alternatives to criminality and fostering self-sufficiency within the community. Various palliatives like food stuff, educational kits, and materials were also distributed during the outreach, including clothing, food stuff, and other household items.

The Inspector-General of Police, while encouraging the participants, emphasized the intent of the Police to encourage a collaborative spirit among all members of various communities with a focus on the importance of parental responsibility and proactive measures in youth crime prevention.

By bringing together diverse stakeholders and facilitating meaningful dialogue, the Force aims to contribute to creating a safer and more supportive environment for the youth and families, as a microcosm of the society.

Shiloh is GOD'S appointed place for such a divine encounter.
