Sorry , where I read it this morning It was stated 2pm and I had prepared to watch it at 2pm. Thanks for the update. Nigeria sport bloggers always cause confusion. Anyway , no need to use abusive language. Let us show some respect for each other.

I think it is 2pm Nigeria time. Not 4pm because of time difference between Nigeria and Egypt.
Travel › Re: Share Your Nigeria To Abroad Stories Here by godwon01(m): 5:24pm On Nov 08, 2019
Nice topic. My story goes like this. To travel outside Nigeria is a nice idea but I will not advice any body to go this time around. I left the shore of the country twenty years ago when Europe was rosy for foreigners. Now abroad is not like as it was used to be. The economy is very bad globally. The job is no longer there again. Plenty of people with little jobs. Nigerian reputation now is not as it used to be before. Immigration law is very tight now. To get residential permit to work is very strict now. If at the end of the day U managed to get out , U will be shocked what you will see. Things are very tough now. Anyway best of luck to those who still want to go.

Honestly ,let us be sincere with our self. What is Osibanjo doing with such a numerous special assistants . Does Nigerian knows how they were employed. What is their impact on the poverty riding country. Our VP is not a straight forward person. He is a pretender to be fighting the course of Nigerian. See how his children are behaving on social media. Does not portray him as man of God at all. He also like power. He is not fighting for any body. May Almighty God spare our life to see the end of this regime IJN. I am quite sure when they leave the office , all of us will be surprise to see what they are hiding for us. They are not innocent at all.

They can send it through DHL to Nigeria embassy in London who can take it to the president to sign and come back the same way. What is the urgency behind it. I don't even know the impact of this bill on common Nigeria. It will only benefits the oligarchy family. It is also another way for Abba Kiyari to claim his own travelling allowances at the expense of tax payers.

Your physical challenge is karma for insulting your wife's legs in the beginning.
You didn't like her because 'she was annoying and had little bow legs'.
Today the 'annoying girl' has accepted you despite you having no leg.

Be careful who you insult before it comes back to haunt you.
Nice one .A good comment especially for those Nairaland member that insults people any how. Some don't even realize that they can get good friends that can change the course of their life. They will opens a thread , read people comment and started issuing an abusive words on the person. It is a general comment instead of reading it and go on your way, the next thing is start abusing the contributor. The forum was created for peace but some has taking it upon themselves to cause enemities for themselves.

Why was Lagos successful before it was ever a known capital?

Una yeye too much. Bad belle people.
. U are just a kid. I was just telling U what happened then . I knew what happened then. I was in primary four when he was appointed. I was around and I knew what happened vividly. I am not indomie kids. After the civil war , there was urgent need to develop Lagos as the then capital of Nigeria. Gowon created 3C so that all those destructive things during the war to be in proper perspective. Jakande, Raji Razaki, Bode George , Ahigbe, Buba Maruwa, Tinubu, Raji Fasola, were able to succeed because of what was on the ground built by federal might. I am not a politician. I am telling history as I witnessed it not been told by any body. I was born in Lagos ,school and worked before I moved abroad. U don't opened your mouth and say what U don't know. I am talking by my experience. I am an elder in the forum.OK.
Politics › Re: Mobolaji Johnson: Achievements Of The First Governor Of Lagos State by godwon01(m): 7:39pm On Oct 31, 2019
I think he was the governor of Lagos state between 1966 to 1975 not 1960 as quoted by the author. Lagos was a colony from 1960 to 1965. He was able to succeed because Lagos was the capital of Nigeria under General Gowon administration as the head of state. A lot of federal might contributed to the development of Lagos then.

Don't get contact of anybody. If U are new in Lagos Island, just go there one day , stay in an hotel around Lagos Mainland, around palm grove Onipanu side .It is a straight journey to Island. Just like somebody who is going to abroad for the first time. Go there first like a tourist . Second time , it will not be strange again. U just have to be careful . There are a lot of area boys there as well as numerous trickster. If U go to buy wholesales things be very careful so that they don't sell different thing to U. Everybody at Idumota are very clever including those with tribal marks that will appeared like stupid on your eyes. U need to double your thinking. God bless U.

U don't have manner. Must U abuse me because of my comment. The fact that I commented on Nairaland does not indicate that we are in the same level. I have been watching football since the days of Segun Odegbami, Muds Lawal RIP, Christian Chukwu, Henry Nwosu, Aloysius Atuegbu, Emma Okala, ,.I have been following Under 17 tournament since 1985 when Nduka Ugbade lifted the first maiden edition in 1985.I watched the entire match on my own tatung TV. Who are U to tell me the above comment. Were U alive when Earnest Okonkwo RIP was running commentary on radio and TV for Radio Nigeria and NTA sport.Even of recent Akinloye Oyebanji RIP sport commentator NTA Lagos. Always be positive on our players. Don't you see all the players in the other teams. Are they real under 17 yrs old players. The fact that they came from outside Africa or not from Nigeria does not mean they can not manipulate ages. Give peace a chance you psychopathy on Nairaland. Let us enjoy the tournament. You are not Fifa agent. That is the reason why some of you are not relevant in life.

I think he lost the original certificate when he was making photocopies of his credentials to be included on his JAMB form or probably his bag that contained the certificate was snatched from him by thief's in Lagos Island.

Nice governor. Nobody can rival his achievements in Lagos state. He touched all the remote areas and everybody felt his impact when he was in power. I don't see Sanwoolu to match him in all ramifications. Let wait and see after four years. We may be wright or wrong at the end of the day.
