"If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed." (2 John 1:10).

This apparently harsh instruction seems at first to conflict with the many biblical exhortations to show hospitality, but it needs to be placed in context. The one-chapter epistle of 2 John was addressed to “the elect lady and her children” by John, who also extended greetings from “the children of thy elect sister” (vv. 1, 13). These unusual phrases, together with the general tone of the epistle, make it almost certain that John was not referring simply to two individual Christian women, but to two churches, symbolically personified as two noble ladies with the “children” being the new converts in the churches.

The warning, then, is primarily against the danger of allowing a false teacher to come into the church, as a pastor or a teacher or even as a visiting speaker, who would not bring “this doctrine.” The doctrine mentioned is obviously “the doctrine of Christ” (v. 9). This doctrine of Christ is not, however, simply a set of doctrinal tenets about the person and work of Jesus Christ. It is not the doctrine about Christ, but of Christ—belonging to Him—His doctrine. The word “doctrine” is didache, meaning literally “teachings.” The meaning clearly is “the teachings of Christ,” that is, not just one or two least-common-denominator statements about Christ to which all nominal Christians could give assent, but the entire body of teachings that had come from Jesus.

It feels like poisoned fried rice and chicken. I believe what Jesus said was that the scriptures Moses and prophets have to exist till they are fulfilled but his words which come from the Father exist forever.

His teachings were Love God, love thy neighbour, obey the commandments of God, of which he taught and mentioned them out of the ten commandments.

I do not think Jesus after dying and saying it is finished and he temple cloth tearing into two, would command his disciples to observe any ritual, sacrifice nor customs related to the temple, it's sacrifices and services.

I was trying to reproduce a child (Not through sex), but I couldn't, like I was not fertile. Suddenly, I don't know how I had a child, but it was a dead child.

Then in sorrow, I carried the dead child around seeking for a possible solution. I suddenly came across a man of God, a powerful and popular one, although currently not on Earth with us anymore. Then he prayed again, and I was engulfed by a power beyond me. And as I fell, the child came to life. And as I stood back up, I did so with a living child. It was so unbelievable that I started questioning my myself about the possibility of such happening.

I feel that what is dead in your hands, maybe a vision, a goal or something you are expected to produce. Well it could be our fruit of repentance, fruit of ministry and the like.


Then he said I should take my mind away from the moment and keep it blank by not thinking about anything.

Its like saying cast all your cares and worries away. I find it interesting that the child didn't just come to life but the answer to the prayers affected you and then the child. It means that's "child's" life is not an independent existence apart from you.



You have read the gospel is the power of God unto salvation unto life but until people actually receive that power they have no life in them nor through them.


I believe you should COMPLETELY SURRENDER TO GOD and seek his power.

Or and another thing, we human are more than just our physical bodies we have souls as well. If his mind gets renewed by God's word then how he sees the opposite sex may gradually change. Who First Saw Jesus After His Resurrection?

According to the Bible, it was a woman.

Mark 16:9-11 (KJV)

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

The woman's name was Mary Magdalene. She was the one Jesus first appeared to after His resurrection that He first sent to His church to deliver the message of His resurrection.

Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

So it was a woman who preached the first Gospel in the church after the resurrection of Jesus, and it was Jesus Himself who sent her to preach it there.

Therefore anytime you hear any idea, doctrine or teaching which says that the woman ought not to speak in the church but to be silent, know that it's not of Christ, because according to the Gospels and Bible, Christ clearly permitted a woman to speak in the church, as a woman was the first person He sent to to convey the message of His resurrection to the church after He had resurrected from the dead.

Moreover, if you see a woman preaching or speaking in a church, saying that Jesus had appeared to her and sent her to deliver a message to the church, do not see it as unusual just because it's a woman and not a man, as a woman was the first person Jesus appeared to after His resurrection and also the first He sent to preach the Gospel of His resurrection to the church.

Jesus even rebuked His church, which includes His first eleven disciples, for not believing the woman and the others He first sent to them with the Gospel of His resurrection before He physically appeared to them, to illustrate how important the message He sent her to deliver to the church was to Him.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Can you die for your wife? If not is there anything you can give or love you can show equivalent to Christ death on the cross?

Eph.5.28 - In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man is actually loving himself when he loves his wife.
Eph.5.29 - No one hates his own body but lovingly cares for it, just as Christ cares for his body, which is the church.

I doubt any wife wants her husband dead because even Christ the head of the church is alive, halleluyah.

John.15.13 - Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Rom.8.34 - Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
