Veecruz:you have no shame, you call others devils but you lack understanding of what the message of repentance is. How can you type this if you did. |
Veecruz:this is how false doctrines start Take one scripture out of context, and contest any other scripture that explains or verifies that scripture as nonsense. They have quoted several men who served God yet you want to stick to your nonsense. Those men were devils, Abraham and Moses, even I myself I am like them. You are yet to type it, but lemme associate myself to them. |
Westerhoffe:leave them let them be twisting scripture and calling others devil. Not surprised even Jesus was accused to be one. |
Jokerman:Matthew 19:4 and the lord your god said you shall marry only wife for that was the only marriage he did in the beginning |
Veecruz:huh 😲 is this your attempt to twist scripture or what 🤣🤣🤣🤣 First off, the commandment says do not bear false witness "If he had a right as who says" better correct yourself. You're busy twisting God's word to mean he gave him right to marry even married women when you know that what is written there mean that he has a king or any king could marry any free woman and extra as long as it is not too much. Instead of you to focus on what is written you are dancing about man from sky or from the people. The reason God gave that command was what happened to Solomon whom frankly took too many wives as an example and it lead him astray. |
Veecruz:Deut.17.17 - The king must not take many wives for himself, because they will lead him away from the LORD. And he must not accumulate vast amounts of wealth in silver and gold for himself. The king must not take MANY wives, who the king, not the people and this was written by Moses. Who was speaking here and to whom? 2Sam.12.8 - I gave you his house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that had not been enough, I would have given you much, much more. |
Jokerman:was Jesus referring to how many women a man should marry? |
Been a while 😊 |
Please did E.A Adeboye really give this proposal and did this prophecy come to pass or was it or is it yet to occur? |
MaxInDHouse:how? Was surprised to see it here, shocked, at first I thought I wrote it in this group. Wondering why, cause it seems strange sha. |
MaxInDHouse:how or why did you respond in this group The question isn't about who or for how many people God's love is for. It's if God's love has conditions to it. |
My answer for now should be undecided but it is tilting towards the negative, NO. I have read and heard that God's love is perfect, is everlasting, eternal and the like but is God's love unconditional? A love without conditions, if that's what the statement means. Is God's love without conditions? |
Wainey:either it is boring, or one is tired or one is under attack. Evil spirits come like birds and steal the word away. Powers are fighting the person, least you hear and be delivered. |
CandidAdmin:you resist by God's grace |
The man on the pulpit said you must pray God's will for your prayers to be answered. My question is, if I make a request based on what you want to give me is that really what I want or what you want for me? Then why not just give it to me, why wait for me to ask for it? Pray that your joy may be full, due to the answers, then would one be happy if they get what they asked for or something else they are expected to believe is better for them? How am I supposed to know what you want from me for me to ask you for it? Is prayer really making a request or me just collecting what you have for me? Is this pray God's will, an excuse when God doesn't answer prayers, they say you didn't pray God's will? Is praying in God's will different from praying God's will? Now does it mean if I want anything I shouldn't pray but first check what God's will is for me? What if I want something that I do not know whether it is God's will or not? Now when I look through scriptures I read things like and God did it because his servant asked or because his servant spoke. God honoured the words of his servant. If you are willing make me whole and he was made whole. Does God want to give you whatever you ask of him in prayer? I know God won't answer sinners and those who seek to do evil or pray for things for their own selfish pleasure and interests. God does answer prayers but forgive me, does he answer all prayers? God gave a man a blank cheque to ask whatever he desires. I can't imagine going to my father and asking for something I truly want, forget needs now, I want this and he tells me he won't. Jesus said, I thank you because you always hear me. Jesus said what father would give his son stone or snake instead of bread or fish he asked for. If I ask for healing and I am still sick, maybe I am not a child of God? If I ask for provision and I still lack, maybe he doesn't hear me? Is it selfish to ask your father for something you want. Blessed are those who ask and receive from the Creator, Abba Father. 😊 |
kilonshele101:my kid can do that 😁 Modify: there's a YouTube video of tb Joshua writing in tongues infront of white men 🤔 |
Tongues of angels, tongues of men, tongues of demons. Tongues dey, everyone speaks to their own father, some na God others na devil. The best of the 9 gifts last last na discernment of spirits 😊 |
Is there any good example of vows in scripture. Jacob vowed but there's no record of where, when nor how he fulfilled it. This vow may have been passed into his future generations. Jephthah made a vow, and ended up doing what God's law is against. Was there anyone God commended for making a vow to him. There was silence to Jacob's vow, and silence to Jephthah's vow. Infact I feel the silence to Jephthah looks more like a punishment to his rashness, having a dream from God or being under the spirit doesn't mean a man would say what's right, his flesh may still be at work. Jephthah vowed a vow and had two months but didn't go through scriptures didn't get a word from any prophet. Some say he didn't offer his daughter as a burnt offering, let's hope so because there's also no record of Jacob fulfilling his vow. I do not believe God is in support of such vows (he may not even like us making vows in the first place). Because what does you making a vow mean, does it mean you don't trust God's word and promise to you, or are you trying to negotiate on equal terms with God that if he does this, you will do that but then doesn't that mean what God wasn't his grace but your payment, it wasn't free and he did it because of what you promised him. God could have let a goat come out first, a sheep or anyother thing, it may be that a slave was in the thought of Jephthah and such wickedness and evil thought lead to his only daughter coming out. Let your yes be yes or your no be no. God makes promises so he shows he is trustworthy and Abraham believed. Any other response to God's promise may in every sense be wrong, we don't respond to God's word and promises by making a vow or a promise. It seems the devil uses it to trap people. Did Jesus even teach us to make vows, he said we shouldn't swear, that out yes should be yes and our no should be no. He didn't speak favourable about tithing nor tithers, he rebuked those who vowed things and refused to give their own family or parents in need calling it corban. Please do note this is a topic I am not sure I have much understanding in, so please forgive me if I am wrong but from the little I have read and know of God, he doesn't want us to make vows to him but to believe and trust him and obey his command. If even those who vows were made for broke them, e.g Samson, why bind yourself to something the devil can use against you? |
shegsman58:God doesn't like separation na 😁 |
LadyPortable:which abroad the Asian, African or mid east one, 😂 |

AntiChristian:since I know you can read English you probably should also know the answers to your questions right. But your understanding may be seriously marred to infer that lot was saved from homosexuality and being drunk possibly asleep was him impregnating his two daughters. But you are who you are, don't bother trying to make it make sense |
Happy Sunday everyone 😊 |
This story makes me imagine the story of Abraham at noon when he saw three strangers and one of them later happened to be the Lord who later blessed him with a child and the other two angels who went to judge Sodom. Lot was saved because of his kindness to those two strangers. Was it God's strategy of finding righteous people in a city, for two angels to go into a city like homeless people and plan to sleep in the open? God help me. |
Watch the video, I know there are times when you open a thread and only see a clip you have to watch and just like I usually do, you leave the thread without watching the video but if you can for just one moment trust that this video may the most amazing thing you have watched today, this week, even this month. You may have to watch it again and again, pause and rewind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrIvwPConv0 |
LordReed:it gives me an option but it doesn't govern nor decide for me. Govern and guide are not the same, it may be similar when you consider it in a human way in leading. It may be necessary to offend a people when it is unavoidable and not when offending a person is the purpose or intent of the action. Should one now sa they have the freedom to offend others, there are liberties we think we have or exercise that ain't liberty at all but a way to dominate or enslave others. Freedom to offend is no true freedom, it's like a supremacy mentality |
LordReed:offend people at all is not even the point, but believing you have the freedom to do it and even the guts to think you can get away with it. When you offend people don't u apologize, do u tell them you have the freedom and right to do so? Electricity does it define your morals, or decide whether you do what is right or wrong? |
