Maynnmann:and still what business do I have with all of these? And which one is "your Yahweh"? Where did that one come from What is your agenda? |
Maynnmann:who? |
gsegun43:do bears kill or they maul? Did the Bears maul them? |
TheElated177:"Go up [in a whirlwind], you baldhead" The baldhead was not the provocation, doesn't it remind you of when Satan misquoted scripture to Jesus, telling him to jump down. And Jesus said, tempt not the Lord God. |
Maynnmann:Only God if Israel and God of only Israel, are not the same thing? What is your point? |
Maynnmann:if Elohim is the father of Yahweh, so what? Please kindly keep your wrong unwanted correction, there are Hebrew and Arab classes online to teach you the difference, even strong dictionary is very available. |
Maynnmann:be it vav or Waw, even the Torah or old testament doesn't deny that he is a God of war, as one of his many attributes. And it never said He is the God of only Israel. Now I ask again, what are you driving at? |
Dtruthspeaker:it is not correct because you have another meaning or it is not correct because it is wrong? |
Maynnmann:like I said what business as my post with you're saying What's your point? |
AntiChristian:really, I mean the 8th day compulsory circumcision Abraham followed |
Maynnmann:the question I asked and what you're saying have no connection And Allah or even Elah has a different spelling and meaning to Elohim |
Maynnmann:I didn't dispute that God isn't a title, I didn't even call his name Yahweh, but you brought so many things up that's why I am asking you... What is your point state is clearly I do know God's name is written as YHVH in the Torah, but what does that have to do with this thread and what you wrote? |
AntiChristian: |
Balerion:question is why would the media protect those ones, even though the media attacks christianity |
Maynnmann:hmm, really, okay. And your point is? |
Maynnmann:then Jesus is what? |
Moses records in the book of Exodus that God revealed himself to the people of Israel, God had revealed himself to people in the old testament even from the book of Genesis. Then what John writes in John 1:18 states that the God who men and women don't see, the only begotten divine son who come from the Father reveals Him. There seemed to be an understanding that no man had seen God's face, but his appearance or image is what they saw, I believe John was drawing a comparison between the revelation gotten from Moses and that gotten from Jesus. Even as God said, Moses a man who spoke to God face to face, scripture records even he did not see God's face. At the rock Moses face was covered when God's glory passed and he only saw his back. "Seeing God" may mean different things to different people, but the clarity by which Jesus revealed the father showed that he has seen me not from a distance but from his side, in a way that he saw his face like no other person existing has |
Biafranodogwu55:But I don't even know you nor have an expection of you, I don't even think you were in my thought when I wrote it. I'm sorry if u can't read it, just read the much u can |
apstpaulg:you said call but you didn't leave your number. Why don't we discuss it here? |
Maynnmann:then Jehovah is who? |
apstpaulg:what are you even going on about |
Kobojunkie:How was number 1 insinuated? And why not answer number 2 as well? What idea of favor are you talking about? |
Workers of iniquity are those who present "false images". False images either of themselves or of God. So iniquity is falsehood, especially when a "minister" is after protecting his own image rather than presenting or representing the true image of God. A false image is idolatry, scripture states that stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry, drawing a similarity between the three. A person who is stubborn is unwilling, meaning they know the way but are unwilling to walk that way, so though they may have accepted the way, they are unwilling to walk that way and go according to God's will. [b]They seek to create "another" will in the way, a bending of the path to suit them. So what they present isn't an image that was the original. Iniquity can be born out of ignorance, ignorance of not knowing or acknowledging the truth. It is different from sin, which in Hebrew sin depicts moving away from the path, iniquity means mischief, wickedness, unrighteousness, unjust, in Hebrew Avon with root word which means to twist or distort. And to distort is to lie, to make false, to twist a thing into something else. Like the devil twisted scripture so as to get Jesus jumpimg off a mountain. Workers of iniquity ain't (just) those who are worldly or sinners who live by the way of the world, these are those who claim to know the Lord, heard his teachings, not only proclamations or preachings that announces Jesus, but his teachings as well Matthew 7:22 states what they would even do; Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? Matt.7.23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. who don't do my Father's will v.21 Luke.13.26 - You will say, 'But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' Luke.13.27 - And he will reply, 'I tell you, I don't know you. Go away, all you who do evil.' Not that any of these are bad, for they are signs that follow the believers, but whom did these things or signs glorify? Did you practice what Jesus taught, did you obey? Matthew 7:20, by their fruits you shall know them. Not by their works. We are asked to love others, teach them, baptize them, make disciples, but these things they didn't mention. For these things focus on God and glorify God. Iniquity is false image, false appearance, it is hypocrisy that Jesus spoke woes upon, it is what he hates. That's why Jesus said get away from me I do not know u, or spits them out, they didn't fully do what's expected of them, they were neither cold nor hot, neither here nor there. So though they prophesied, and cast out demons they kept people in bondage by their lies and falsehood, bondage to idolatry and man worship, where people did not know the truth nor were they set free. Didn't even the Pharisees prophesy and cast out demons, did they not hear his teachings. When people are drawn to you not by God and not to God, then there's iniquity and idolatry at work. When we look at modern day "idols" we see people after the worship and adoration of other humans. Idols things or beings people desire after. When you don't provoke people to desire after God, whoever or whatever you're presenting or representing is iniquity. People become fornicators and unfaithful to God, they forsake their first love instead of forsaking the love of money, of things of the world and the love of the world. Sacrifices, offerings is nothing compared to obeying God. Mark 12:29-34 Some even disobey God with the plan to give an offering big enough to obtain forgiveness. Any sacrifice or service done after disobedience will be rejected, as work of iniquity. You cannot do your will and except God to accept it. Saul did go the way God sent him but he did not obey God fully, not in all things, he put his will before God's, his glory above His. All those who do this will be rejected as well. Isaiah 32:6 For the vile person will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. work iniquity, is to practice hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD to be wicked to the poor and oppress those beneath you. There teachings are lies and false and point not to God. There ways don't show love to anyone, instead of filling souls up they dry them up. Violence is their path and on their tongues and thoughts, Hosea 6:8, Isaiah 59:4-16 There purpose is not to feed the people but eat them up, collect from them till they run dry. Psalms 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called on God. They are false and represent falsehood Psalms 28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts. They speak good words, but in their hearts is iniquity and mischief, in their hearts is a desire to fulfill their own dreams and imaginations. To all reading this, listen to what the Spirit is saying to you, whatever you are doing that is not in line with God's will for your life, do not assume that because you have heard of Jesus or attend the most word empowering teaching message that it gives you leeway to disobey or that God will accept whatever work you present to Him, the same God that consumed Nadab and Abihu is the same one that killed Ananias and Sapphira, is still alive and living and hasn't changed. If you do not want to be consumed or rejected, listen to the warning given to Cain, if you do that which is right in my sight you will be accepted. Peace to the righteous |
I have had people ask me this question a few times, "is God partial, is He unfair?" In these people's defence they had great points and examples to show or state that God was been unfair. I myself I have thought the same way a few times but often told myself there are things beyond my reasoning and certain things I just couldn't see or perceive to be able to adjudge if something was unfair, and to be frank that's basically why we can't easily say or judge that something is unfair, because it's all from our own point of view. A view that is limited to what we see or feel. When God selects who to heal, do a miracle for, use, elevate or save, what are the criterias and do all these people meet the "criterias" we know? Because there's always something we don't know, and it explains the skepticism of those who disbelieve those who say there's God or that God healed them or heard their prayer, or the envy or hatred towards those who get what other have sort for so long. Cain killed Abel, Esau tried to kill Jacob, both were rejected by God and they hated it. Did they ever think just maybe the other person deserves it better or they themselves did something to be rejected. Did they ever think to learn how to gain such favor or admit they maybe they deserve something else other than what others have? Something we may be rejected for one thing but accepted for another thing, our "favor" may just lay somewhere else. Do the people who are selected for these "special" things feel "God is unfair"? Or is that just a thought that comes into the mind of those who feel rejected? Does the moon feel bad that it doesn't shine in the day or the sun that it's greatest doesn't reach the night? Do the stars feel left out because they are too far away to rule either day or night? Do they consider their un purpose as insignificant, just a mere symbol of times? Have you ever thought, "God you are unfair". Abraham believed God is just and won't punish the righteous with the unrighteous. And God did give the city and opportunity, right? But they came to hurt strangers who visited them. Imagine a woman who believes she has served God all her life, never slept with any man but still not married and approaching 40, or a woman who got married a virgin and at 50 not a single child nor a missed period, but her husband or other woman have more children they can handle. Or a man who has worked diligently and faithfully all his life, yet without the value or respect that he believes he deserves. You reading this may not feel that God is unfair, maybe because your life is great or you have all you want, well not everything, but most of it. Or you may be reading this, thinking to yourself, God is absolutely not fair, I have served faithfully for so many years, yet what is my reward, what is my gain. So I reflect a bit on this, and I recall certains things. Paul was Saul and I am sure there were many devote believers, yet a man who did so much wrong was selected, Jesus appeared to him, and he did great and mighty things. Cain and Abel both brought offerings, Esau and Jacob were both blood brothers, yet one was chosen and the other was not. Is there a way to truly understand why God does what he does or whom God would choose? Have you ever tried to understand or just conclude, "God is unfair"? Because if the biggest question is not about miracles, healing, wealth or elevation but about salvation, what happens to working out a salvation that may just be given to whom ever God wishes. If God is unfair then your next thought that been good isn't worth it may take root in you, don't you agree? I recall a question in children department, if God already knows the future and those who will go to hell, what's the point of all of this? I believe that those who perish may be beyond redemption and none that is good would perish, no matter what their present life looks like. So I decided to try to be good not because of heaven or hell, but because it's worth it "being good" and heaven & hell is a future thing, there's enough to do in a today we barely control speak less of tomorrow. If I get there lucky me, if I don't, well I lived a life that was worth it I guess. They told us as kids God is love but I asked why would he send a kid to hell for picking up a Biro or coming late to church, for simple mistakes, I refused to believe that the Lord God who is love would send someone to hell just because they don't know His name. So in a way maybe I wasn't thought about the real God who is love but about a selfish man trying to play God, but the real God should be kind, loving because he is too powerful to be hurt by anybody. Well that's as a child, lol. Even if God is fair, would those rejected see it that way? It all still boils down to how each person sees it. Even if God is unfair what can we do about it? Sue him? Lol, we can't sue a rich uncle that fails us much less a being greater than all living things if you feel ignored by him. Lol you don't even know where He is to begin with, do you? No matter how angry we get at God, what does it change? Can you beat God, whether you believe he exists or not. I believe the idea of God is important for we humans to have, it's even more important if it's real because it helps us consider to do the right thing even when we don't want to. Who is God? Is He unfair? His shows mercy to whom He shows mercy to. Why Peter and not Judas? Why you and not them? If you are favored by God would you be hated by those who ain't? Like Joseph's brothers. The Pharisees probably hated Jesus for the same reason, they believed they were righteous yet this nobody who hasn't learnt from anybody, could pray and God would answer, why? Whose authority? And then God choose ordinary folks for disciples, what about the priests? So is God unfair? My answer God is fair, why? Well, would you want to provoke God to become unfair to you? Right now I am not sure how to answer or convince anyone that God is fair or not. I doubt our personal opinion about him is sufficient to provoke Him, but our wickedness to others might just do that. I just believe God is free to do whatever He wants to whom ever He wants to do it to, and He searches the hearts of men something we do not see, He knows our pasts and our future, something we also do not see, we may not consider why God isn't doing for us what we want, but let's consider that only the prayers of the righteous prevail and the righteous are those whom God view as righteous. So she may be a prostitute to you, be may be a drug dealer or whatever you think you see or know about them, but they may have a past that speaks favorably for them, a heart far kinder than yours, and even a future where they pay back all the mistakes they have made. P.S don't mind the mistakes in this post, just thought to share my thoughts with someone, thanks for reading |
