Long story. There was a tradition were only Princes born of Itsekiri or Bini mothers can ascend the throne. The current king was born of a Yoruba mother and Ayiri wasn't having any of that. Funny how Itsekiri who descend from Yoruba cannot have a Yoruba as mother
The thing tire me o.

The king mother is from Ondo state his wife is from Edo state....he is not suppose to b a king in Itsekiri kindom according to deir tradition.........Itsekiri Kingdom will soon hear from deir ancestors.
Which ancestors? Upon all the opposition against the current olu' father for being a Christian, the man still reign for almost 30 years.

I still hope someone will reconcile the two. Ayiri is a prominent son of Itsekiri. The new Olu needs the support of everybody to succeed. Ayiri must also learn to give up the battle after defeat, he can’t keep fighting a lost cause. He should eat the humble pie and seek reconciliation with the king. Life is too short to keep fighting forever.
It's not easy to reconcile with folks who stole the king's crown o

Sports › Re: Tammy Abraham: My Main Striker Should Come From Africa – Mourinho by Goke7: 11:56am On Aug 21, 2021
TheGoodJoe:
African Strikers Made Me – Mourinho

Mourinho said: “My success is always based on having an African striker. Without an African striker I feel like I won’t succeed.

“My belief about African strikers started with Benni Mccarthy at FC Porto whereby he scored more than 20 league goals to help me and FC Porto to win the Portuguese League title.

“In that same season he scored very important goals for me in the UEFA Champions League (UCL). That helped our careers to be well known in Europe by winning my first Champions League as a coach”

“From Portugal to Chelsea in England, I find Didier Drogba. He was a great African weapon to win with me an English Premiership. I wanted Benni Mccarthy to join me to partner Didier Drogba up front but at that time he was at Blackburn Rovers and he was the only hit man there. So they refused to give us Benni Mccarthy no matter the offer I put on the table.

“From Chelsea to Inter Milan, there I wanted to win the UEFA Champions League (UCL) so badly. But I only had two Ghanaian midfielders and that was not enough for me to win Champions League as I was dominating the league only.

“So I sat down and thought hard about having an African striker again. I approached FC Barcelona and they willingly sold to me the best signing of my career – Samuel E’to O and the same season with Eto’o I won Champions League.

“From Inter Milan to Real Madrid. There at Real Madrid I had all talents but the reason I didn’t win the UEFA Champions League (UCL) was because I had no African striker. I tried Emmanuel Adebayour but it was a loan move so Madrid does not like to use loan players.”

“Brazil have great strikers, but if you look at them they are of African origin. I always teach new coaches on my coaching facilities that you must always have an African striker in your team.

“Perfect example at Manchester United they don’t believe much in African strikers, no wonder I didn’t enjoy much success there. Some strikes gives you league titles but African strikers gives you UCL titles,” he said.

mou is a coach of no sentiments, he says it as it is. No trace of racism in him. Reason he's a unique coach no matter what anybody thinks. Players like drogba, essien and mikel will never be world known players but for mou. No other coach would have given them such a chance

I once or twice said here that there is a need to use the law to stop all Obas, Ezes, Sarkins or Serikis not native to and recognised by the law of the state where they exist. For security's sake. Those things were allowed in an atmosphere of friendly understanding but the betrayal Fulani imperialists have shown to have an evil motive behind it.
We need to respect our boundaries as Nigerians. UK is 4 countries in one, Scotland, northern Ireland, Wales and england. They know their boundaries and they all respect each other hence they coexist peacefully even during Brexit, all the four nations had to agree on the Brexit deal.

It's only in Nigeria that someone from calabar will claim ogun as state of origin. We need to start respecting our boundaries if Nigeria will continue to exist for a very long time to come.

Sudan will be our most difficult opponent in this group. Of course, Egypt is not a team to be underrated, but they would not be a hard nut to crack if Rohr gets his tactics right in the first game. One thing I can say is I expect us to go far in the tournament as usual, but I do not see Rohr steering our ship to victory when it matters most. Fingers crossed.
Your coach will soon begin to say he has a very young team. He's busy writing down his excuses now not to win afcon.

For every nice thing they have in Denmark they pay a tax rate of 46% with a tax to gdp ratio of 46%
Nigeria has a tax rate of 24% or less with a tax to gdp ratio of 6.1%. Plus only 30% of the taxable population actually pays taxes
Danish gdp is also higher than Nigerian gdp.

But if the government wants to go that high you guys will complain.

When they tell you to do the work to change your economy from oil dependent to industrial dependency you guys will say it is too hard.

And before you start I don't like APC or pdp. But you guys have to be realistic. You cannot have a Ferrari at the price of a bicycle
oga the tax thing is simple, just enforce it with equity and justice without sacred guys and favouritism and people will pay. Nobody in any part of the world wants to pay tax but when you have no option than to pay, you will surely pay.

Are you aware that from the president to the governors and national assembly members do not pay tax at all according to our yeye constitution, how can those who make tax laws do not pay tax themselves according to the same law. We got to fix that bruv

I wonder how this government thinks really ...a poor nation like Nigeria spending 12 billion dollars on a phantom project that won't break even for 100 years ....there are far more important was that would use that money that would have far more impact on the economy

$1billion $300 million each can reactivate warri ,port Harcourt and Calabar ports ...$100 to by boats to secure the sea routes

$4 billion invested in our transmission line would increase transmission capability from 5000mw to over 12000mw ... electricity supply would double ...I mean double because we have installed capacity of about 15,000mw

$5 billion grants to 10 top importers of goods we can easily produce here to start producing them in Nigeria ...or if we have struggling producers top 10 ...pick like 10 to 20 products

Like ceramics , glass , cloths , chocolates ,drugs and the likes ...this would create over 300,000 jobs directly and provide revenue of over 300 billion a year in taxes

This project would have far more reaching impact on our GDP than this phantom rail system that's nothing but a feel good project

Abuja kaduna rail would break even at the current profit rate in over 101 years

I'm waiting to see the figures for Lagos ibadan rail but my estimate suggest 160 years to break even that's if repairs are not made even
If the rail was passing through your village you won't be saying this.

What do we actually want for naija. If the govt did nothing we will complain, now they are doing something yes it may be inflated and sound overbloated but this is Africa, we need infrastructure like this else nothing at all will be done at all including all the suggested alternatives you have listed here.

Like I always say, you can never go wrong on infrastructure no matter how expensive it is. Persons, goods and services must always be moved from one point to another.
