OLADD: My friend, this so-called corruption fight is nothing but a joke. Buhari"s govt can bring up allegation of $2.1billion arms fund diversion but have so far kept mute on the much trumpeted $20billion "missing NNPC money". Why has Buhari not deemed it necessary to also bring up the issue of his missing Certificate now that he's the C in C? Nigerians are no fools. Keep on ranting, by the time the searchlight will beam on nnpc that you have mentioned, you will curse the day Jonathan became president, its obvious you guys can't cope with myriad of revelations coming out so far, your misery have just started if you think PMB is joking, metu is already confessing despite on hunger strike, you can continue to take PMB for granted at your own peril |
Politics › Re: Jonathan Should Fight Back Now. by Goke7: 3:22pm On Jan 12, 2016 |
its obvious the pdp goons are running out of ideas and getting so frustrated by the day, its like they thought PMB was joking initially but alas they can't but admit the ruggedness and doggedness of PMB to stamp out corruption.
My advise to Jonathan and the pdp is this, Jonathan can lead a delegation of his pdp goons to aso rock quietly to negotiate on how all the stolen funds should be returned, he himself should show example by returning if not all most his loot and that of his wife, with this all other pdp members home and abroad will be compelled to return theirs.
Anything short of this I bet you will not stop PMB to continue his chase and man hunt for all the looters, a word is enough for the wise. |

Boss13: When people make statement like there is no money in the country, I just don't get it. Rather, that statement should be reviewed to - money leakages and illegal withdrawal of funds have been tightened.
People with genuine businesses still make money. This is why I also support the CBN stance on not selling FOREX to bureau de change operators.
Please let's make money the right way.
Thanks you are very right, as a matter of fact, genuine people are the ones in Nigeria with the greatest opportunity to make money right now in Nigeria, only lazy and spoilt folks are the ones complaining, the present situation in Nigeria gives great opportunities for those who will look inwards to make good cash, have anyone noticed that exporters are not complaining about forex issues? |

A time will come when these kids rejoicing over this bad news will no longer be able to buy common MTN data. A time will come when their parents will be unable to pay your school fees.
So many ediots in the country. Workers in Kogi state and indeed many states have not been paid salary since September and some useless people are shouting good news.
Who told you kids that everyone steal to eat? Some people run legitimate business and they're rich. Only a f00l, like many on this thread, would call rich people THIEVES.
Some thieves are poor, and some rich men make ends meet legitimately.
Rejoicing over poor car sales is the greatest stupidity I've witnessed since the past 10 years.
This is bad, and we are in for bigger troubles. na so the thing pain u reach, why do you guys give yourselves away so easily and make it so easy for others to pick you out one time, are you blaming the people rejoicing for salaries not being paid in Kogi state? |

The way things are going, by the time GEJ himself will finally throw his weight behind the anti-corruption war being waged by PMB, I wonder how that day will be for IPOB fans and other wailers.
Even the pdp now has factions cos of the anti corruption war, as some want the looters to return the stolen money while others are still hallucinating that its a witch-hunt. The moral burden on those who still oppose PMB anti corruption is becoming too heavy for them to bear.

We must fight corruption by all means. There is no two ways here. Did you notive that even some National Vice Chairmen are angry? But I think in all this, ex president Jonathan need to step in and lead the way for the recovery of the loot, he is greatest beneficiary of the pdp and it will be unfortunate after being a great beneficiary, he will also live to see the party die off like that, even though obj too share some of these blame. |
Politics › Re: Jafaru Isa Returns N100million To EFCC by Goke7: 12:47pm On Jan 11, 2016 |
TonyeBarcanista: There is primary thieves(those that took from the treasury directly), and secondary(those that didn't take directly but benefitted from the loot). There is also conspirators(those that knowingly collaborated with the primary thieves).
Jafaru received money from a primary thief(Sambo Dasuki) that he didn't know the source. Now that he has established that the source was from loot, the honourable thing is to return it back to the coffers. Failure will earn him prosecution as a conspirator. However, it doesn't absolve the primary thief(and allies) that must face justice. well said only backers of corruption will disagree |

One group is angry that a few people looted the treasury, another group(led by thieves) are hardened and always backing corruption. don't want to mention names but i think its easy to know where majority of the faction that backs corruption comes from, very pathetic as they are the ones that are burying the party alive. |

maasoap: I don't think it was stealing in the real sense of stealing. Most of the receivers didn't know where the money came from. It will be easier for FG to let those who refund willingly to go. The culprits here are Jonathan who gave the order for the money to be diverted and mismanaged, Okonjo Iweala who approved extra budgetary spending of such huge amount without recourse to due process, and Dasuki who knew the implications of what he was asked to do but still went ahead to do it. I agree partly with you, those who may not know the source of the money they received can be pardoned if they return theirs e.g. Falae but if they insist that it was their right to collect despite now knowing where the money comes from, then they deserve to share spaces with dasuki and metuh simple. I think PMB is just giving these yam eaters opportunities to return their yams but they squandering the privileges by shouting witch hunt. Now that is pathetic |

copiescopy: All this shout about fighting corruption is a just a smoke screen for PMB to tighten the noose on all his perceived enemies most especially the SE /SS . The causalities are the few form the SW.
It was just a pity GEJ fell flat to ploy of the Hausa/fulani having brought the master stroke of unleashing Boko Haram as the main key to de-stabilizing the last government had done well enough o devise the means to use as a sledge hammer to break the ground with regards to the $2.1 billion dollar money for arms procurement.
GEJ in his usual naive nature may have given the approval only to now discover that Dasuki was also working against GEJ in one way by ensuring the funds does not get to the appropriate quarters . Statements credited to Dasuki indicates he helped the ruling government come into power . Aint that a fact ? It was already a master plan hatched between top the cabals in the North with one serious motive, return power to the north by any means necessary .GEJ was just a pawn even if it means distributing the entire $2.1b arms procurement sum to everyone and everyone knowing the attendant problem such could create in the nearest future which of course has dawned on the SE /SS that the North were hell bent on destroying their political strongholds thereby using the Boko Haram arms procurement funds as the invisible sledge hammer that could fell the tower of their political grip on the country . This is what is exactly playing out . Dasuki and his master planners are making proper use of the situation to tarnish the image and reputation of top politicians in the SW and SE including the SS . The only little causalities are the few top politicians from the SW. so bafawara, haliru, yakassai, isa and co are all from the se, ss and sw abi, your tribal disposition has given you away despite some of the objective analysis from some pdp fans on this forum, you still come up with this theory, na wa or una o |

OgbeifunErom: It is interviews like this that shows how unprofessional and stupid this Fat Adesina man is
Baba is doing his job and majority of Nigerians (over 95%) are happy with his performance so far
The only people complaining are IPOB youths, the miserable fools that are angry because the Yams are no longer there for the taking.
Who cares if some iddiots are not happy? They can go and die or relocate to Sambisa Forest
Adesina should concentrate on disseminating government policy and their implications to the public instead of appeasing a group of knuckle heads. don't be that harsh bro, the igbos are part and parcel of Nigeria, a major tribe for that matter even though they might have been misled to miscalculate in the present political setting, there was nothing wrong in Femi's interview, he is only trying to enlighten the ignorant ones and he must be commended for that. To keep Nigeria one is a task that must done, GEJ must have divided Nigeria further with his re-electioneering plans but we got to move on for the sake of our children's future. |

Aufbauh: "Not everything that is needful is expedient" PMB does not need to adopt the report of the 2014 national conference holistically before he can successfully navigate the ship of the Nigerian state to an enviable destination.
The conference was a shenanigan to settle political patrons, the agenda was needful but not expedient as any proactive executive government could have lobbied it through the legislators.
The one million dollars question begging for an answer is that, what stop GEJ from adopting the report before his ouster if he really meant well for the said report? Exactly, what GEJ supporters want would have been easily gotten from GEJ himself but instead they preferred the sharing of yams, truth is the so called proponents of the conference report are truly not serious about its implementation, its just one of the measures to distract and oppose PMB like the biafra issue, after all one of the major proponents of the report is Falae who is now struggling to defend his yam portion. I advise those who truly wants PMB to look at the report to use diplomacy, blackmailing the ruling party with it will not make any headway |
